A chance encounter with the one who got away. A second chance at love. A secret that could shatter both their worlds.Jackson I just ran into the woman who captivated me years ago. Aisha Thompson - beautiful, confident, and still as irresistible as ever. But she's hiding something from me, and I'm determined to find out what it is. I'll do whatever it takes to win her back, even if it means confronting my own past mistakes.
Aisha I'm a single mom and marketing manager, trying to make connections at a charity gala. But when I run into Jackson Sterling, the billionaire CEO of Sterling Industries and my daughter's father, my world is turned upside down. He's arrogant, charming, and devastatingly handsome - and he has no idea he's a dad. I've worked hard to build a stable life for my daughter and me, but one look from Jackson and I'm tempted to risk it all. Will I give in to the undeniable chemistry between us and tell Jackson the truth? Or will our past mistakes come back to haunt us, tearing us apart forever?
Once again Dara Hunt took me on another amazing journey. This time a second chance at a love story with a secret.
Jackson Sterling and Aisha Thompson have a history together that didn't end well. But seeing each other at a Gala ignites long-forgotten feelings in both of them. Jackson is determined to win Aisha back in life forever. Aisha, while old feelings resurface she's hesitant to rekindle the flames with Jackson as she harbors a secret he might not take lightly.
I loved everything about this story! From the drama, the chemistry, the sexy steamy scenes, the passion, and the angst to Jackson and Aisha's beautiful HEA epilogue. I know that I'll be rereading this again
This was a short love story of second chances. It was cute and to the point. If you’re looking for a quick read that’s a romance book then this is your story.
Aisha did not want to be known as a gold digger and when Jackson Sterling made the declaration that all women were gold diggers after hisv money, she ran. She was determined to raise her baby on her own . She didn't need his billions to raise Zoe. How fate works five years later he found out about Zoe. My heart felt like it wanted to burst just like Jackson's did when he met his daughter for the first time. I guess it was fate that postponed their meeting until he was mature enough to realize what he was missing in life. He knew he wanted Aisha when he saw her again after those many years and he realized that a family was what was missing in his life and Zoe was just the icing on the cake.
One thing he said, spooked her and made run away… however, their brief “fling “ had consequences. Fast forward five years later, they met again, Jackson wanted to rekindle their romance but Aisha was still hurting and she had a big in the name of Zoe she had to protect, unbeknownst to Jackson. Jackson was very regretful of his callous words… but sometimes words hurt deeper than you can imagine. But he is determined to win her back and when he learned about his daughter, he definitely wasn’t going anywhere. BTW. what happened with his parents? how did they take the news of being grandparents!?
I really enjoyed this story! I am glad that Aisha gave Jackson a second chance. He had to put in the work to earn her trust. I don't know if I could be as forgiving as Aisha. The story is well written. Ms. Hunt continues to write excellent stories. I am looking forward to her next one!
Aisha was frustrating to me. What was the hesitation? She was still in love with him. What did she think was going to happen when she threw that curveball at him? He defied her every thought and still she was hesitant. He jumped right in like he was supposed to. I'm glad she figured it out.
I had to shake my head at how quickly Aisha acquiesced to getting close to Jackson again. I can see allowing him to nurture a relationship with his child. However, I personally never could be committed to anything but co-parenting. Kudos to her for being a better person!
I enjoyed reading this book it was a cute short read with no drama, and I would recommend reading this book to anyone who enjoy a short sweet second chance at love. Good job Ms. Hunt and thank you.
Yes there is always concern when stories are short in page length. Will the conclusion be satisfactory, will be the characters be defined, will the imagery flesh out. I say this Hidden Legacy delivers. Trying to remember if the typos matter.
Could they find themselves together a second time and would her secret be revealed without bad consequences? I had to find out and didn’t stop to put this story down until the end…boy was it worth it!!!💚🦋
Jackson always loved Aisha he was determined not to lose her again. This time around came with a little surprise. The two of them couldn’t fight their feelings this time around. True Love prevails
Interesting, with a happy ending! Although, the hero almost threw away his second chance! He checked himself and realized that the love of his life had pegged him correctly, so he did as needed to have her in his life!
