Keira Olsen got married, but she didn't know that her husband-out-of-the-blue turned out to be the richest man! She's an illegitimate daughter who can't be recognized. She's been clawing and scrambling her way up, struggling to survive since childhood. He's the child of destiny, standing high and mighty. The two are worlds apart in status. Everyone was waiting for Keira to be swept out the door, but all they got was a post from the richest man on his social media "My dear wife, can we not divorce?" Everyone was confused. [Strong Female Lead, Undercover, Dominator, Powerful Confrontation, 1V1]
The storyline is very interesting despite the grammatical errors. However, I never would have started it if I had realized instead of purchasing one book; you actually have to purchase six to get the entire story!! I can see this happening on other sites, but I really thought Kindle & Good Reads were above this sort of extortion. Very disappointing 🤬
DNFed when it just wouldn't seem to end! I really wanted to see how far they could take the story of female Christian Grey on steroids. A 22 year old coming from no money, is a world renowned but secret 'technical' expert having a huge company, and is also a chef at a high end resturant, a courier delivery person, electrician, world renowned but secret journalist having millions of Twitter followers, and a factory worker who also solves the cure for Alzheimer's and other rare diseases in her free time.
Don't know if it is the quality of the translation or this is how it actually is but it is schlock. At times entertaining, and seeing the role of family in business dealings (supposedly in China) and corruption slightly informative. But at the same time so trite and repetitive - oh my illegitimate child! But still it is a little fun to have things work out so well for our miraculous heroine despite all that society throws at her.
Lots of grammar errors and has no ending. The story is interesting and has potential. I can even over look the grammar but can't get past the fact the book ends at what feels like a half way point.
It's really hard to ignore the grammar in this book and almost seems like it may have been translated. It's not a smooth read and the ending is a cliff hanger; however, the story line is interesting and has a lot of potential.
The main characters just keep causing themselves problems. It reads like a soap opera. I paid twice for more chapters and all I got was drama and an unfinished book.
