Sarah & Eli had been wanting a baby for so long but their prayers have gone unanswered A baby is left on their porch You will really dislike Mrs Thompson in the book, I will say that the way she says that the baby is mine I wondered if she was selling the babies via the adoption agency you will have to read the book to find out if she is I will be reading 📚the next book in the series
This was an amazing book about the ordeal the Amish parents had to go through in order to have and keep their given daughter by unknown parents. A lot of the community was mean and gossipy and truly unsupportive.
Ms. Miller has blended love, yearning for family, kindness to those less fortunate, and righting the wrong posed by a bigoted, officious social worker into a charming story.
