Good plot line

I’m enjoying this series for the most part. Each one has a good plot and likeable characters. My recommendation would be to flesh out the plot line more, add more depth (especially leading up to the climax!), be more descriptive, and hire the right person to edit. Too many typos, grammatical errors, and character name mix ups. Make these changes and this whole series would be outstanding.

It is a very easy-to-read and follow story. However, the typos and errors make the book a bit difficult to read at times. I often wonder if he includes all the errors as his own niche, perhaps to guarantee a few reviews. There are way too many for even a poor editor to let pass. Overall I enjoy reading books by Mark Stone.

Good story, poor editing

This is the third book I have read in the Coastal Crime Unit Series. I have enjoyed all three books as Mark Stone is a wonderful story teller. But the editing is almost unbearable. Missing words and more frustrating is using the wrong characters name. If the story wasn't as good as it was I would have put it down after book one.

A great read with lots of twists and turns

I enjoyed this book, as it had several interesting surprises in it. I am still not sure how things will play out between Jack and Kat, that continues to remain a mystery.

one star penalty for the-as usual-questionable editing

For reasons I cannot explain, this is my favorite Coastal Crime Unit story so far, despite all the killing.

Not all about serial killers

Another great "Couldn't put it down! Great mystery as well as getting into the lives of the main characters in the story. Believe me I'm hooked. Gotta get to the next thriller.

Unbelievable

It's un elievable that they published this work before human eyes ever read it. Typos, errors, mistakes in granner.... shameful.
The story follows the course of the series. A wee bit predictable at times, nevertheless, an enjoyable respite from the daily "grind"!

Good story

I’ve actually come to really like this series but the author needs an editor. Between the misspellings and typos, what can I say.

Great Book

The book was great but the story was even better!
Editing was a bit sloppy with too many mistakes left in the manuscript.
