Induction - Do I really need it?

Rate this book
Sometimes there are good medical reasons for induction, but often it is offered to women once they get to 41 weeks of their pregnancies. It is described as a fairly minor intervention and many women are unaware that, usually, this is not the case. Induction of labour is a major intervention and can lead to other problems and further medical interventions. This booklet debates the pros and cons of inductions and when they may or may not be necessary.

Glad I've read it because I did want to better understand induction, but there were quite a lot of typographical errors in it which was frustrating.

(But it was only a £3 used copy from Amazon, which seems to have originated in the University of Salford library!)
