Husband's dilemma solved but has consequences
This is my first novel by GK and I'll probably read more. It’s not the first cuckold/cheating wife novel I've read where the husband displays backbone and demands respect. There is clearly a rational for this Lifestyle. Whether it’s ED, long-term deployments, unconditional love or experimentation. This time it’s deployments. Senior Naval Officer Berk’s wife Angela is a very sensual woman who is sexually frustrated by his long overseas deployments. He’s afraid of losing her. He discovers his ship's roommate Sebastian has the same dilemma. Sebastian’s solution is to become a cuckold. Sebastian’s wife Chloe and Angela are friends like their husbands and she entices Angela with her sexual romps. One thing leads to another and soon Berk and Angela are in the Lifestyle. Berk is ambivalent yet it’s a practical solution to keeping his wife. Berk deploys before ground rules are set. Of course, Angela meets Dexter or Dex. He's a horse hung sex machine and he “bewizards” Angela who becomes his submissive. She can’t say no to him and that introduces the drama in this triangular relationship. Either Berk adapts and overcomes or he goes down with the ship.
My only critique with this novel is we get very few expositions from Angela. Angela’s thoughts or POV are mostly a mystery. GK should expand on the wife’s view. I think it would add a third dimension to an essentially planar novel. Make it Epic GK. Go deep.

This is a thrilling, engaging read, and it is highly recommended. I really look forward to reading the other three books in the series.
This series is based on the real-life dilemma facing married couples whose husbands face long postings overseas, leaving their wives behind for long periods. With many marriages ending in cheating and divorce, some turn to Hotwifing.
Some husbands become a mixture of Stags, Voyeurs and Cuckolds, but even this arrangement leaves blurred lines.
Berk, the husband featured in this book, is worried about losing his stunning, faithful bride of eight years. When he hears about this lifestyle, he convinces his highly sexed wife to explore it under his distant, watchful eyes.
What follows is a thrilling roller coaster ride. You get to experience the highs and lows of a husband who is pushed uncomfortably towards cuckold as he loses control and a young, arrogant, dominant male enters her life.
I especially like that the ending could go either way; I enjoy that suspense.
I am fascinated to see if Berk and Angela appear in the other books.

This is a series that I’ve been watching as it hit the Kindle ‘to buy’ list. It took several months for the entirety of it to appear.
It was expensive but the potential of a real barn burner is very strong with this. (I spent four years in the Navy). Both the need and the potential for this fantasy is extremely high.
Mr Grayson’s ambition exceeded his ability. It could be a lot better than it is.
The first two volumes, Angela and Lynn are superb. He’s still developing the basic characters and story. I did not feel that he expanded the format solely to ‘bloat’ it up.
He could have done better development in several of his later volumes.
The heat in the earlier episodes is better (fresher?) than the later issues. He leaves a bit to be desired when he has to recover ground with repeating situations. This is understandable. How many times can you describe a blow job, with the same characters, and make it sound unique?
All in all, this is a very good series,. But it’s Huge. At $3.99 ea it comes to nearly $25.
It is an excellent story. The characters are interesting, as is the plot. It doesn’t get mired down until the introduction of Dexter. He is tiresome. He needed to get smacked down very early.
If you are interested in this story, wait until the writer bundles this into a package at a discount price, like the Talia series. I’m glad I bought it, but it’s not worth what I paid for it.

Berkeley is on deployment for months in the Middle East.
His right hand man Sebastian and his wife Chloe introduce Bearkely to the lifestyle.
What a beautiful introduction.
With great benefits for Angela and also for Sebastian.
I hope GK gives Sebastian and Chloe their own book.
To much will ruin a fantastic read.
Great characters.
Beautiful plot.
Magnificent descriptive prose.

Powerful
Quite the story. The “problem” is a real one, military wives and husbands dealing with long separations due to deployments. This is one of those cases. The sex is steaming hot, and the feelings generated during the story are meaningfully deep. I enjoyed this very much and will look forward to reading more episodes.

I really enjoyed the justifications by a struggling couple, but the hot wife scenario still doesn’t sit well with me. Until one has experienced it, I guess you never say never.
