It's been one year since Integration. Kia and Ryushi have banded together with the remaining members of Parakka to continue their struggle to return the world to what they once thought it was. Chris Wooding grew up in a small town in Leicestershire, where not much of anything happened. So he started to write novels. He was sixteen when he completed his first. He had an agent by eighteen. By nineteen he had signed his first book deal. When he left university he began to write full-time, and he has been doing it professionally all his adult life.

Now thirty-nine, Chris has written over twenty books, which have been translated into twenty languages, won various awards and been published around the world. He writes for film and television, and has several projects in development.

Chris has travelled extensively round the world, having backpacked all over Europe and North America, Scandinavia, South East Asia, Japan and South Africa. He also lived in Madrid for a time. When he wasn’t travelling on his own, he spent his twenties touring with bands and seeing the UK and Europe from the back of a van.

He also learned not so long ago that his family tree can be traced back to John Milton, author of Paradise Lost, which has no bearing on him whatsoever but it’s kind of interesting anyway.

Chris lives in London.

A little weaker than the last two in the series. I could not really connect with the big emotions that were featured in this book and would get frustrated with the betrayal twists. As usual, the action parts were tense and easy to understand and get into.

So many great twists and amazing action sequences were found in Part #3 of Wooding's Broken Sky series. There are vague hints left by the author that may clue some people in sooner on what is really happening, but that is what made reading this book so fun. Ty had great character development, and Blink was a really cool idea for a dog. I enjoyed Wooding's take on how the mind of a dog works. The pacing felt a bit faster towards the end of this book, but it worked well with the desperation and action happening in the crucial moment. Kia continues to be my favorite in terms of her domination seen in the action scenes. The ending leaves the readers with a clear hope, but also a eager need of knowing *how* things will turn out after that.

The page count is off. It says there are 160 pages in this book but there are 189 (not including the book for preview at the back). I don't think it's as good as the first or the second book but I look forward to finishing the series.

(This review may contain spoilers).

Broken Sky remains one of my favourite fantasy series. I knew who the traitor was already, but I could relate to Ryushi's sense of betrayal.

It was good to see Ty again and interesting to see how much he changed. The characters are all growing up... maturing. It was sad what happened to Tochaa, but it enabled Hochi to grow as a character.

I like Gerdi. He's definitely one of the most amusing characters. I also like Elani's relationship with Ryushi - although she attached herself to him pretty quickly, Ryushi adopted her fairly fast as well.

This part was particularly intense. A lot of people died, but I felt it ended on a more hopeful note. I will definitely be reading part four soon.

The third and last novel in Chris Woodings Broken Sky triology is as fast and action packed as the two other books.

It's a perfect finish to a triology that wont let you go before you have read the last word in the book.

Read it at enjoy it.

Mysteries revealed, questions answered, suspicions confirmed (although not exactly how I thought they would be), this book keeps a tight grip on the reader to the end.
