The plot is interesting but there were way too many POVs thrown around. Some of the guys got a super short chapter and that’s all we’ll ever get. I know it’s a novella, but it felt super rushed. The story was decent and I’ll probably read the next at some point, but only because of the last couple chapters with Milo and the opening it left for the next book.

It reminds me of an Indy film The Babysitter where all this stuff happened to one girl who’s only problem was being sweet and pretty, yet holy crap all these men were after her and well got pretty messed up- not spoiling but this book took it there and went deeper! ***read triggers because this takes it a step further*** stuff I thought even I wasn’t into that d@mn little hot.
This was definitely dark, and there is one that I want to win. Very short but I actually love that the author was able to get it there in a short amount of time without it feeling rushed/forced (well forced but in a different way- you’ll get it once in the book).
Is there a Cliffhanger? Yes. Upset, ugh yes but want book 2!

There are some books that you love and then there are other books that you LOVE...this is that book. In a way I can relate to the main female character...in more ways than one. Wanting to live your life the way you choose but never having the courage to step out of the box. This novella is short and perfectly sweet. No matter how many times you put it down to do something else you find yourself drawn back.
The MFC, Izzy, doesn't have the best choices in men but what she doesn't know is that there are a few men that choose her. Wanting a little excitement she agrees to a 'blind date' arraigned by her best friend who happens to own a dating site Darkest Desires...use your imagination as to what that means, because trust me my imagination was not prepared for it (oh and in a good way).
Unbeknownst to Izzy, she has two men she believes are in the 'friendzone' but Izzy soon finds out they want so much from her beyond being friends. At the same time someone (or two) from her past seems to want her and keep her to themself.

The first book in a series of four - two for Izzy and two for Yara, this was a very quick read maybe as an entree into the set.
It was like a rabbit bouncing around from one chapter to the another, telling us the story of the people involved which actually worked for me, it kept my interest and made me want to know everything 🤔 There are backstories on top of backstories, some spicy scenes and maybe a little m*rder.
Izzy was fun and her sarcasm was right up my street. Loved Oliver and Maddox 👅 jury is out on Milo at this stage but he seems like a decent sort of chap until maybe he isn’t!
It drew me in from the start, I get the feeling this is just the starter for four and we are going to be pulled into some intriguing story lines with Izzy and all her guys.

Sage…Ma’am…you did an amazing job again! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS NOVELLA...the FMC is so relatable in some ways. This novella is short and perfectly pieced together. No matter how many times I put it down I found myself wanting to pick it back up.
Come To Bed is a quick and spicy novella with a touch of suspense. A few twists here towards the end that I wasn’t expecting. The FMC is a curvy girl with a quirky attitude, and the MMCs are almost competing with each others to have her…almost. They are two friends that are obsessed with her. Looking for a curve girl obsession love story? This is the one for you! Ugh it was a short but man did I not want to put it down! I need more, like no joke the author did such a great job with this book. I wished it was longer because I need it!!!! I will so be reading more from this author. There ain't no way I will not after this book!

I had an opportunity to be an arc reader for sage an let me tell you it did not disappoint... Fmc is sassy an fun always holding herself back until she isn't.. This book was short,funny,and the spice was outta this world . I was left wanting.. Really looking forward to seeing more from the world and to see how everything plays out.. Would definitely recommend if your stuck between books an just need to read something else but beware your gonna wanna read and know more

Come To Bed is a quick and fun novella with a touch of suspense. It’s a great palate cleanser, the FMC being quirky (and also curvy, we like that) and the MMCs almost competing with each others to have her. Two friends that accepted to share Izzy together and one mysterious man that’s obsessed with her. It’s a dark romance with taboo elements, but the darker elements appear towards the end, just a heads up. In my personal categorization, I’d say it’s more of a “light” dark romance. Then again, to each their own! Come To Bed is the first novella in a duology, so who knows what will happen in book 2? 👀
The storyline was amusing. Did I enjoy it? Mostly. Would I recommend it? If you want a quick palate cleanser that borders on light dark romance, yes. Will I read book 2? Yes, I want to know what the dynamic will be between the 4 of them.

When reading shorter length books, it can be really hard to have an actual plot as well as spice. Sage did a great job of having a plot intertwined with spice, and I am thoroughly impressed. Considering this is a novella length book, the plot doesn't really pick up twist wise until the end of the book but it really left me wondering and wanting for me of it. It also definitely left me wanting more of Oliver, Maddox, and Isobel... and our little surprise at the end. (And no, by little surprise, I do not mean a baby.)
This book had quite a few twists and turns and I almost gave it a 3 star review due to being overwhelmed by all of them, but then I sat with it and realized that quite frankly, they all play in just fine & it was just a lot for ME, not a lot for the book.
I really am looking forward to the next book and cannot wait to see how Sage makes this relationship work, especially when all of the secrets get brought to light. Here's to morally gray and possessive men in our books, am I right?!?!?
EDIT TO ADD: I did a reread of Come to Bed from 1/31/25 to 2/2/25 before reading the second book in the series, Come to Head. This was an immensely great choice. I stand by a lot of what I said in the initial review of Come to Bed, BUT I realized during my reread that where I said that it was a lot for me, I was wrong. The book was actually easy to follow with all of the twists and turns, I just wasn't capable of following all of them during my first read and that's okay to admit! I enjoyed all of the twists and turns much more the second go round, and felt much more secure in following the story and the characters. Especially before moving into the second book. Sage did a wonderful job of putting so much story in a shorter length book and I am still so impressed by that.

I absolutely devoured this novella while pool side and I can say i absolutely loved it and hope to the high heavens we get a follow up book about Izzy and her men😮💨
Izzy clearly didn’t understand that she had many men in her life wrapped around her finger and I was absolutely here for it. Oliver and Maddox they have the possessive, alpha, touch her and die trope down to a T. Izzy was blissfully unaware how two of her friends were clearly obsessed with her, like Oliver basically tracks her every single move👀
The chapters of “the wall” had me very intrigued.. we first meet the wall when Izzy runs into him after leaving the bathroom on a flight back to her hometown for her class reunion. The walls identify is not disclosed until the final chapter and it got me thinking. Of course this character is just as possessive and obsessed with Izzy as Oliver and Maddox is.. I mean this man waiting for over a year to be matched with Izzy on her friends dating site which caters to those with “unique” tastes, if you catch my drift👀
Overall this book is fast paced and packed with spice. Thank you so much to the author for providing this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

This is it. This is the one. IT WAS TOO SHORT!!! I read this in about an hour and a half. Now there are quite a lot of books that I like but this…I LOVED. You know how you read a book and can just tell that an author just has the “it factor”? Sage is one of those authors.
I have read so many dark romance books and several reverse harem stories. So many of them start to repeat stories and for me personally, this was unique. The rollercoaster of emotions and levels of this book kept my attention at 100%. I wish the book was longer but in a way, it being shorter made everything feel so high energy as I feel the actual characters would be.
I was a little worried about the several POV’s as I’ve read books with multiple, but this had the most. I loved how even the short lived characters had their own POV for a chapter. What I found very unique was how there are multiple interests but they don’t all start together, they are brought together as the story progresses. AND THE INTRODUCTION OF THE MYSTERY GUY?! I need moreeeeeee!

Izzy has had the worst taste in men, they are either terrible in bed, cheat on her, or both. The only men in her life that are always there for her are her best friend and business partner Oliver and her bodyguard Maddox, unfortunately both of them have friendzoned her so she has decided to try a different direction. She decided to try her friend’s dating app, darkest desires, and has a night of pleasure she has been waiting for.
What Izzy didn’t realize is that there is more than just one man waiting for her, these men will do anything to have her and are tired of waiting.
Loved this, it was a good quick spicey read. Can’t wait to read the next.

This is a why choose, multiple POV. The FMC is first person and the MMC’s are third and it works! This was so good and I’m diving right into book 2.
Isobel is a curvy MMC with a history of terrible past boyfriends. Most recently the one she caught on video with her step-sister.

ARC review.
I was so excited and thankful to get this arc! I had previously read the author's debut book that had ended on a cliffhanger. I craved more! I read this quickly in just 1.5-2 hours. I was addicted. What I love the most is that FMC wasn't some skinny perfect model girl. She's curvy and sassy! It takes a second to get used to the way this author writes in different POV's and 1st and 3rd person. This also ends on a cliffhanger making me crave the next installment of this series too. Give it alllllll to me!!!!

This book was EVERYTHING! The FMC is trying to fulfill her most darkest desires but what happened is something she could never have expected to happen! Read this in 24 hours and I want more. I loved how this was written (first and third person) and started off slow on the spice but then was smacking me with it by the end. From the get go, Harry just gives the ick. But I loved Oliver and Maddox and in the end loved Emilio too! This does end on a cliffhanger.

I finished the book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. I instantly was vibing with the characters. The sense of humor, the personality of the Izzy was so easy to love her. Also, the ending I did not see coming!! Definitely would love to read the next book :)

Damn I hope we get a second book.
Izzy has issues and her biggest issue is the men in her life. While some are dicks others are well…. Something more. Obsession, stalking and love.
This was a hot quick spicy read and While I knew it was a novella I immediately knew I needed more.

This novella did EVERYTHING it needed to! The FMC, Izzy, is trying to fulfill her darkest desires - but what ends up happening is what she NEVER expected to happen! "Come to Bed" is a great start to the series—short, spicy, and packed with intriguing characters. I loved how protective the men are, and I’m excited to learn more about everyone in the next book. Can’t wait to see where the story goes from here!

I absolutely loved Izzy, and even more so Oliver, Maddox, and Milo. I adored how deeply they cared for her and did everything they could to protect her. I’m so excited for book 2 and hoping they all get their happily ever after! The twists and turns had me hooked, I couldn’t put it down!

If you are looking for a quick spicy read where the FMC fulfills her darkest desires, and has men (yes, plural) obsessed over her, then give this one a chance. If you enjoyed Pucking Around then I think you will enjoy this. Please check trigger warnings before you take my recommendation.
