Nice looking book - great photography - useless recipes. They just don't work! Has anyone else tried making some of these dishes? particularly the cakes. Try (but you'll only waste good ingredients and time) the Boiled Fruit Cake - you'll end up with a batter that is like expanding foam for construction holes. I don't know where she gets her quantities and ingredients from, but she should start over.

What a disappointment!
