Please note this is a revised edition of All Her Fears.
The phone rings on Detective Inspector Tracy Collier’s desk. She closes her eyes momentarily — she doesn’t need a new job on her hands. Not today.
A body’s been found. An old lady in her nightie with her throat slit. Happy Monday!
Tracy scribbles down the address, alerts the team and takes three flights of stairs at a clip.
In a remote farmer’s field, Tracy and DS Damon Hanks find the victim. Mrs Irene Roberts was a resident at Blooming Age care home. How did she end up here, dead in a field?
Tracy and Damon head to the care home to find out. There, the sight of Mrs Roberts’ son almost breaks them. He thinks his mother is missing. Not dead. Poor sod.
Then another body is discovered and Tracy begins to panic. She’s already at the end of her tether — there are disturbing signs that her deranged sister Lisa is back in town. If she is, God help us all . . .

I am really enjoying this series by Emmy Ellis. DI Tracy Collier and her team have the murder of an elderly lady to solve. Tracy also has to deal with the fact that her sister is on the scene - again! This series gets better with each book - in my opinion. I am enjoying getting to know more of Tracy and her partner at work and home, DS Damon Hanks. The team work well together and it will be interesting to find out more about the rest of the team as the series progresses. Plenty of great twists make this a great book that I would highly recommend.
This is the third book in this fabulous series. I’ve said it before, this is the closest thing a reader is going to get to the No Offence series.
Tracy Collier is on the trail of a killer targeting residents in a care home. The twists and turns are not only going on in the investigation but also in Tracy’s mind. Is there a possibility someone from Tracy’s past involved in the crimes?
To say more would ruin the readers’ enjoyment.
Absolutely fabulous read and series, give it a go, I dare you.
This is the 3rd instalment in the Tracy Collier series. In this book we see Tracy continue to fight her internal battle and solve a murder.
This book gives me a Texas chainsaw massacre vibe. Again we get a unique glimpse into another child abuse issue which leads to murder. With this murder we see a twist as we as readers have learned the author puts in.
I would love to these books become a tv adaptation.
My mind is going in so many directions right now! I loved this book! So many twists and unexpected turns! The plot is excellent, the sub plot is more of the same! I am loving the characters in this series. Especially Tracy. And now I'm wondering what's next, how is the series going to end, what am I going to do with myself then! You get the picture. That I recommend this book is an understatement!
Loving this series so much Tracy is brilliant love the chemistry between them all. I don't think we have finished with past stories at all yet. It's a series you have to read in order. Emmy just keeps getting better and better.
I'm literally reading a book per day in this series. I'm losing sleep and when I'm awake all I think about is getting to the end of the book. DI Tracy Collier is the most likable and relatable character I've ever read about.
No. No. I Really cannot believe this stuff. A Foul mouthed murderer in charge.. She is Horrible and not that good.. I Really cannot put up with another story
This series is just getting better and better. Tracy thought everything was going to get better and i really hope it does get better for her. Tracy deserves a better life she has been through enough
