Mandi Travers has lost her Little. When she arrives for her stay at Rawhide, shy, traumatized and scared of her own shadow, Mandi's desperate to reclaim her Little side for herself. But Rawhide Ranch is loud and sometimes overwhelming for the autistic woman, and as much as she wants to make friends, hiding seems like a safer option. Master Derek finds her a job in the Littles' Library. Surrounded by books and under the watchful eye of the librarian Miss Grayson, Mandi begins to blossom. And soon she finds her Little, and her Little finds in Miss Grayson the Mommy she's always dreamed of. But Mandi can't quite believe that she's loveable, just as she is. And it'll take all of her Mommy's kindness and firmness to persuade her. Will Mandi ever learn that the best thing about Rawhide is that you don't have to fit in when you already belong?
Ellie Rose is a queer author who writes fluffy and steamy Little romances. Her books are kinky and neurodiverse, and always have a Happy Ever After!
When she’s not writing, she can invariably be found reading in her princess tent, surrounded by a mountain of stuffies, or dancing in a silent disco for one in her living room.
This was such a cute story, I loved the neurodiverse/autism representation! This was my first book where I read about a MC being demisexual and I found it super interesting to learn about it.
Mandi and Amelia weren’t looking for a relationship but I’m so glad they found each other. Their attraction to each other was instant and I liked how they wanted to take care of each other immediately.
FF is not something I usually read, but I can appreciate the writing and how sweet the story was. Mandi was absolutely adorable and I love how understanding and patient Amelia was.
I was kindly gifted this ARC, but I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Captivating story with imo very respectful portrayal of autism, kink, neurodivergence, trauma, hurt/comfort, self awareness and confidence, sexuality, community and that oh so important thing called communication.
This was my first Rawhide Ranch book to read and it defiantly delivered. This was a good book to start with from the series even if it wasn't the first written. I enjoyed watching Mandie go from the broken girl who thinks she lost her little to the amazing Big Mandi at the end. She came to the ranch to heal and hopefully find her little again. I loved how Ellie developed Mandi and when she arrived at the ranch in bad shape emotionally and mentally she didn't just leave it at that. She cared fMandi's Little Mother's Day: A Holidays at Rawhide Ranch StoryMandi's Little Mother's Day: A Holidays at Rawhide Ranch StoryMandi's Little Mother's Day: A Holidays at Rawhide Ranch StoryMandi's Little Mother's Day: A Holidays at Rawhide Ranch Storyor Mandi and wanted the very best for her. She showed this by including therapist in the book so that she could get the therapy she so badly needed to move on and heal from her old daddy. I saw a lot of myself in Mandi and fell in love with her. She not only found her little again and a place she can call home and feel safe. But a wonderful group of friends, a chosen family in her cousin and his fiancé Nate, and the love of her live in Mommy Amelia. If I could take a vacation to the ranch I'd be first in line to get that reservation. So looking forward to reading more books in this series. I defiantly had a few book hangovers from reading. Thanks Ellie Rose for introducing me to the ranch.

This is the first book I believe I read by this author it wasn’t what I expected but I still enjoyed reading it. I didn’t realize it was going to be a same sex book so that was a surprise for me overall it’s a sweet charming story. Mandi has been through a lot with the world and ex treating her as burden among other things on top of all that her favorite place is closing. As she struggles with all this her cousin thinks rawhide ranch is a great place to help her relax along the way things get interesting. I love how welcoming everyone is a the ranch and helpful in anyway they can be! Lots of self awareness, self discovery, heartwarming moments, some steamy moments, silly moments, learning to love yourself and much more in this happy book:) all the characters are amazing to read and get to know. I felt somewhat connected to the 2 main characters as learn to express their feelings and desires and being scared about people’s judgement caused their different than what the world expects them to be. I believe this book is a inspiration to not be afraid to be yourself no matter what others thinks. It’s a really powerful easy quick read in my opinion also:)
I didn't really pay attention when I downloaded this book. I read that the MC was autistic and looked forward to reading it. I opened it and read the first few pages and thought What the Actual Fuck am I reading?! I closed it down and went and did a little research. I am much wiser now. Then I went back and read the book. I liked the fact that being autistic and trying to find her lost little was not equated as being autistic and immature/childish. It is very different and was clearly written as different. Everything was suitably respectful and encouraging of communication and finding out/knowing what you want and following your own path. I love the normalisation of stimming and masking. And yet again - a red head. I liked the explanation of Amelia being demi and what that meant for them. And also a librarian. Who wouldn't like librarian and all that book knowledge?
Epilogue This was a look into the future - beyond the original short stay planned at the ranch so we could see the progression of the story. It was acceptable, particularly given the story's short length.
I've been reading Rawhide Ranch books since this series started. I'm the proud owner of a Rawhide Ranch Bear so when I tell you that this is one of the best stories in this series, you know I'm telling the truth! Mandi goes to Rawhide to try and see if she can heal and find her Little again. The relationship she was in broke her and caused her Little to go into hiding! My heart broke for her. Mandi is also neurodivergent/autistic, and the way Ms. Rose wrote this in the story was spot on. Amelia ended up being so good for Mandi in every way that counts, and I was rooting for them. Both sort of struggled to understand their feelings for each other but again, Ellie handled it perfectly. I have two grandbabies who are autistic, and one is noise sensitive, and it made me tear up when I saw that Mandi wore earplugs to drown out background noises. My granddaughter is the same way. This whole book just made my heart happy and warmed my soul. I very highly recommend this book. Beautifully written, it was a joy to read!
This is a beautiful book about finding the right person and the right place to feel truly comfortable and safe. Mandi is amazing, full of life, joy, and wiggles. Except when she feels broken and confined by her life and society. Thankfully, her cousin comes to the rescue with a suggestion that changes her life. A trip to Rawhide Ranch. When Mandi arrives, we feel her pain, terror, and isolation. As the story unfolds, I felt her happiness, joy, and acceptance of who she is. It is stunning to behold. Meeting Amelia expands her world. Amelia never expected Mandi to come into her life. The suprise and elation is palpable. Her story is detailed, honest, and beautiful. I love the interactions in the central story and with all the supporting players. These characters are written with such care and attention to detail. I love this authors work, and I love the Rawhide Ranch world. The perfect match and complement to each other. I highly recommend this book, series, and author. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Captivating reading, love, trust and being herself is Mandi's healing balm
Manic had been told all about Rawhide by her cousin Ralph,he and his condenSate had always been there and helped her when the world outside was being overly mean to her.
When she had met Master Derek the first it had been a little daunting, she had explained why she found herself at the ranch and what a terrible experience she had escaped from and had made her way to the ranch in the hope of a new life.
She is placed under the care of the head of the little library and she and her little that has been lost for a time call her Mommy Amelia, she is working as an assistant in the library and for the first time has friends other than her cousin Ralph and feels safe with those around her.
This is a real heartstrings story and a little different from the Rawhide Ranch norm, it is a wonderful read, I guarantee you will be hooked by this story and anxiously await new books in this series.
It is becoming a rare thing that I find a new book I can't put down - this one ticks all the boxes - the physical, mental and emotional sides to Mandi.
Mandi has lost her Little after a traumatic broken relationship. She is neurodivergent/autistic, which complicates her life in the "real world". When she arrives at the Ranch she is not expecting/planning/hoping to find a Mommy, nor is Amelia (the Librarian at the Ranch) expecting to find a Little. Introduced to each other, the attraction is instant, but the relationship is allowed to progress at a reasonable pace.
I have no personal experience with neurodivergency or gay relationships but the way this is written, the author either does or has done her research. The subject is handled with a sensitivity that I am impressed with.
Mandi’s Little Mother’s Day by Ellie Rose is the newest installment in the Rawhide Ranch series. It is always so comfortable for me to return to Rawhide Ranch and this book was no exception. Master Derek has created an amazing environment where Littles can truly feel safe to be themselves which was on perfect display in this book. Mandi is on the spectrum and in the past has felt a strong need to hide herself and all the quirks that make her unique and special. But at Rawhide Ranch and specifically with Mommy Amelia, Mandi can just be herself. Whether it was her stimming or sensory issues, her Mommy understood and no one made fun of her. Mandi found a home at the Ranch which is exactly why I love this series. Rawhide Ranch is a magical place and my only complaint is that it isn’t real.
Absolutely Adorable & soooo heart warming❤️ LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!! ❤️This one’s a keeper!! Learned a few things too..lol (New word: demisexuality) 🧸Oh those wiggles, I realized I know people who do that and didn’t know it was a “thing”, just always came across as cute/know they had a happy moment 💗 Ok, I’m in love with Mandi’s character 🧸🤓🧸, and she already made me tear-up 🥺, and it was only chapter 1!!!!!!! 🤧 there’s a couple more tearful moments FYI😉
📖This was genius with Miss Grayson: The hand holding hers squeezed again. “Stop panicking. I can hear your brain snakes.” “My brain snakes?”🐍🐍🐍 “Yes, the squirrelly bits of your brain that say horrible things to you, and make you doubt yourself and your actions. Brain snakes slithering around. Two-forked tongues flickering about and hissing vile things into our hearts.” She gave an exaggerated shudder that echoed exactly how Mandi felt at such an image before adding, “Even us Bigs get them.” She looked down at Mandi and smiled.

I loved this story. The author handled this neurospicy Little Mandi like all of us would love to see happen in the real world. The ranch protected her, Master Derek immediately knew there were things that she couldn't handle and encouraged her "weirdness". I was almost in tears reading Mandi's struggles with her previous faux Daddy and how she had lost her Little. But once again, Rawhide Ranch to the rescue. Mommy Amelia was just the right caregiver for Mandi and these two had sparks flying right away. I loved their relationship and how they didn't immediately move into together, but really developed who and what they were together. We got a HFN, but I'm good with that. Thanks to this author for her representation of such diverse characters.
Mandi comes to the ranch, a broken Little girl. She identifies as neurospicy (neurodivergent/autistic). Master Derek is super understanding, permitting Mandi to be as 'weird' as she needs/wants to be as she adjusts and heals from the damage caused by a former 'daddy'. Master Derek has a few conditions; one is that she accepts one person to be responsible for her, and the other is to see a female counselor. Amelia Grayson is the woman that Derek wants to be accountable for Mandi. When Amelia and Mandi meet, there is an instant connection.
I enjoyed this story immensely. I cried, laughed, and cheered Mandi and Amelia on. Their journey was a wonderful one to read.
A Little who has lost her spark goes to Rawhide Ranch- a Little utopia, and meets a new Mommy in this age play romance.
Okay so the rep in this was just brilliant. A demi Mommy with an autistic Little with C-PTSD? Nailed the representation.
For 150 pages, this book really packs a punch. If you’re curious about age play, you should give this a go. If you’re familiar with age play and it’s one of your kinks, you should DEFINITELY give this a go. Ellie Rose just became a must read author for me. I’ll for sure be checking out her Stuffie Hospital series after this.
Medium burn with pussy slapping and impact play.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️ POV: Dual Third Past
This is the latest in the Holidays at Rawhide Ranch series. It is a MDlg romance. It features a Little named Mandi who is on the autism spectrum. Though she has lost herself due to a bad relationship. When she goes to Rawhide she never imagined meeting someone, let alone a Mommy named Ameila. While FF is not my thing (and I am in no way yucking anyone's yum it just personally isn't something I enjoy), the story was extremely well written and sweet. I really did enjoy seeing their relationship bloom and grow. It was still very much worth the read!
This was such a lovely feel good story. It was fluffy, sweet and low drama. Mandi needs a safe space to heal and Rawhide Ranch is perfectly suited for this. Mandi didn’t know she would find a Mommy and Amelia didn’t know she wanted a Little until they found each other. I loved all the representation in this story. It felt like the author was writing from a place of experience or at least deep understanding and really respected their characters. Their was some spicy scenes sprinkled throughout and it ends in an HEA.
In this edition to the beloved Ranch, we Mandi, an autistic woman who as lost toch with her Little side. I fell in love with Mandi right away and felt for her when shes told she's too much. She takes a trip to the Ranch with no expectations. Upon meeting Amelia, there's an instant spark of interest. She soon begins to feel safe and comfortable with Amelia. The way Amelia takes care of Mandi is just amazing. The emotions in this story are real and touching from the heartbreak to re-discovering joy and happiness again. I am very happy to see real life challenges in these stories.
4 stars. Definitely my favorite book that I’ve read by this author. This was so stinkin’ precious but had great steam, character development, and a lovely romance between two likable characters. I loved seeing Mandi find her Little side again with Amelia. Both women were incredible charming and their romance was wonderful. I liked their chemistry a lot and how they communicated and were so open with each other. The ranch was cool and a lot of the side characters were just as likable. This was such a great read that genuinely took me by surprise with how much I enjoyed it.
This was a must read book. It's great to see author Ellie Rose create a story where the main character Mandi has autism. It's amazing to see the journey Mandi takes as she leaves a mean daddy experience behind and takes a chance to look for her missing little at Rawhide Ranch. Mandi loves books and find's the librarian, Amelia to not only be a person who provides Mandi with a safe space to just be herself but finds a mommy in Amelia as well. This is a HEA story.
As in usual fashion, I enjoy each story in the Rawhide Ranch series. They aren’t just stories about Littles and Mommy’s and Daddy’s. Each one touches on a real world subject and always tells it with grace and dignity. As is with this one, it’s about Mandi and how she feels she’s lost her “Little” due to a bad relationship. Mandi has autism and is very open about it and explains how things feel to her. She meets Amelia, and feels an instant connection with her, unlike anyone else she has met. And Amelia feels the same way. These two are perfect for each other. They both understand the other’s fears and wants and I rooted for them throughout. This story takes you on their journey and I didn’t want it to end. This story was enlightening and delightful. A definite must read!
I really enjoyed the diverse personalities of the main characters. I learned so much through the neurodiverse characteristics of Mandi, how she was perceived and how she views the world.
It takes all types of people to build a community, Ellie Rose is a master at introducing less traditional characters into her books with sensitivity and care.
Although this book makes you think, there is plenty of humour to diffuse the serious bits.
This has definitely been my favorite of the rawhide books. I absolutely love Ellie’s books I seem to see a bit of me in most of them some of them have been like she pulled my deepest hopes and dreams out and put them in a book so that I know I’m not alone some are simple things like when they dance in the kitchen some are much deeper. I hope there will be more wlw books in the rawhide future.
I loved how this story approach both being a little and being outside of what is generally considered neurotypical. It touched on a lot of topics that tend to be forgotten when human dynamics are considered, including gender norms and sexual orientations.
Definitely a thoughtful and a fun read, with a Rawhide Ranch HEA that is a realistic representation of where the relationship would likely be.
I struggled with this one unfortunately. I had to DNF. Apologies for me it just didn't jel and I felt the autism wasn't represented correctly, it seemed to be used as a tool to get readers not an actual representation of the condition. Its a shame because I love Rawhide and have every single book but as someone who has worked with autistic people it doesn't represent them correctly in my humble opinion.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow, this book was so emotional, for someone to go through what Mandi had to endure and then to watch Mandi grow with the help from Rawhide Ranch and the Librarian Miss Amelia Grayson. Mandi and Amelia go through teething problems all for a happily ever after. There was plenty of tears for pain and happiness, autism, kink, and a perfect pair for love.
Ellie Rose has beautifully penned Mandi's story. This story was such an emotional read. I enjoyed reading about Mandie who felt that she has lost her little side but Amelia at Rawhide Ranch has helped her feel little again. I love how Amelia, Sadie and Master Dereck made her feel comfortable and were patient with her.
I Liked Mandi and that she was trying to find her little again. Amelia was so patient for Mandi. I loved their relationship and thought they were a great Mommy and little. I love that Ellie Rose brought her neurodivergent world to Rawhide Ranch.
I read an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
As always, an enjoyable read from the Rawhide Ranch authors. It's exciting to see a realistic portrayal of a character with ASD. I appreciated seeing a demisexual character. I've read several of Ellie Rose's books. I look forward to reading about the upcoming nuptials!
Bravo Ms. Rose!! You've created a story that has become a before and after for me. I was so touched by this one. I'm not a Little, a Mommy, or neurodivergent, but I could relate to Mandi losing herself and her journey to rediscovery. I loved the relationship between Amelia and Mandi, and the pace at which it developed. It's sweet and tender, with the perfect amount of heat. I loved it!
I absolutely loved this book! Rawhide Ranch is so AMAZING, I want to go there in real life. Mandi is scared that she has lost her little and that her Autism is to much for people to handle. She feels like she doesn't fit in. Amelia Grayson loves the Littles but isn't sure if she wants one one her own. This is an amazing story of acceptance for and finding who you are.
