Chloe Cameron lived every fangirl’s dream the night she went back to Luke Waters’ hotel room. A one-night-stand with a world-famous rockstar is the one wild thing she’s ever done—the one juicy story she can tell when she and her friends are gossiping. But that one-night-stand turns her world upside down when she ends up in a pharmacy parking lot, three weeks later, with a positive pregnancy test in her hands.
When Chloe finally manages to tell Luke about the baby she’s more than surprised to hear that he wants to be in the baby’s life. The next thing she knows, she’s following him and his band on tour so the two of them can get to know each other and figure out this soon-to-be-parents thing together. And to do that, they both agree that they need to ignore the undeniable chemistry between them.
Everyone says it’s a bad idea, says she’s going to get her heart broken. History would indicate the same, but Chloe is determined to prove them wrong—she can totally be platonic co-parents with Luke. If she doesn’t give him her heart, then he can’t break it.
As the weeks go by though, it may be harder than Chloe thinks to keep herself from falling for the handsome, sexy, and surprisingly thoughtful Luke Waters, who wears his heart on his tattooed sleeve.
A toe-curling drama and romance wrapped up with witty banter, Chloe Cameron’s Guide to Accidentally Dating a Rockstar will make you laugh, weep, gasp and keep turning the pages until there are none left!

Obligatory disclaimer: I wrote this book, so obviously I think it deserves 5 stars 💁🏻♀️
In all seriousness, this book is made up of over two years' worth of work, a lot of love, and more than a few tears. It grew into something I'm really proud of. Whenever I go back to reread parts of it, I'm surprised by how much I enjoy my own writing. Even if I'm my own worst critic, I can admit I did well with this one ;)
I'm a little terrified to have this out in the world, but I really hope you all enjoy this story even half as much as I do.
At first I thought it was going to be another love stuck story. But as I begin reading I just wanted to know what happened next. I fell in love with each character in their own personal way. From Devin craziness to Quinns toughness to Elena mom friend in the group. To maverick player ways and Lukes kindness.
I can never tell a story without a spoilers so if you want a feel good I can relate to that story.. then this is your book. Luke Mav and Quinn are in a band. Chloe elena and Devin are BFf.. take a journey with them I promise you will fall in love.

Such a cute love story! I can relate in a different way, similarly to how Chloe was second guessing her relationship with Luke. Definitely read this book! I still remember the day Danielle was talking about writing a book one day when we were doing theater :) So glad I got to experience it for myself!
I was lucky enough to get the chance to be an advanced reader! I loved everything about this, to be honest. I want to know more about everything though! What happened between the last ch and the ep? What about Devin and Elena? And Mav and Quinn??? I hope there's more to come. Great debut novel!
I ended up finishing this in a day because I couldn’t stop reading. I really enjoyed the writing style and pacing of the book and I appreciate the development of all the relationships in Chloe’s life, not just with the main love interest. It was sweet, funny, emotional, and well worth the read! :)
Finally a rock star that I would want my daughter to date! This was a cute story with developing relationships (including the angst and drama) but not so sickly sweet or too perfect to take you out of the story. Beware it starts off spicy but the book is a slow burn romance.
I didn't like the narration, because sometimes it was a narrator telling Chloe's story in 3rd person then again the characters talked for themselves. The story was boring and I did not like Chloe or her best friend Devon.
I finally decided to dnf this, because there are so many books and only so little time.
"Chloe Cameron's Guide to Accidentally Dating a Rockstar" is Danielle Hays' debut novel! The story is a sweet romantic comedy with cute and funny moments that will make you smile. The friendships are strong and supportive. I liked how Luke handled the pregnancy and his relationship with Chloe; they balanced each other well. The writing is smooth and not too long, which makes it easy to read.
Wonderfully written, heartwarming, and fun! At its core, this book is about love: platonic, romantic, familial, and self love, too. It’s about believing in yourself, letting yourself be happy, and finding people to have around to support those things when you need it most. I can’t wait for a sequel!
This book follows Chloe. She's in her mid twenties and a little lost in life. She lives with her mom and step dad and has two best friends she hangs with. One is a wild child and the other is the mother of the group. There are 4 interludes from MMC (Luke) perspective in between. One Night she goes to with her friend to a concert of her friends favorite band. After the concert her friend is able to convince someone to let them into the after party with the band. When Chloe gets there it overwhelms her and she retreats to the patio where she runs into the bass player, Luke, who is interested in her lack of Fandom for the band and him. He takes her back to his hotel room and they have a one night stand. Only the condom didn't work and Chloe finds out she's pregnant and is coming up with a way to tell Luke. When Luke finds out he brings Chloe on tour with him because he wants to be there.
I loved the beginning of this book but once we got towards the middle and end I was actually getting a bit annoyed. Chloe is in her mid twenties with a baby on the way and she's acting like a child in some scenes. I get she was scared and some reasons for her fears were valid but she started some of the issues and then ran away. It was becoming a bit repetitive and childish.
Luke, I swear that man is an angel. He was nothing but perfect. He may have lost it when he found out but when you're famous you can't be too trusting. He treated Chloe like she was a special flower he had to take care of and never pushed harder than necessary to keep her comfortable.
The side characters were also so supportive and loving. The only people that deserved to be punched was Chloe's dad and Luke's parents. Towards the end I was becoming less invested in Chloe and Luke's repetitive nature and more interested in what was happening with Dev, Mav, and Quinn. Although the author never elaborates so I'm kinda hoping there's another book for those 3.
Overall, it was a cute story but a bit lackluster towards the end. It was still swoon worthy how Luke reacted and treated Chloe through everything. Even the end. And that epilogue was kind of adorable.

Chloe and Luke start out with an interesting story. After a one night stand, Chloe finds herself pregnant and has to track down rock star Luke to let him know. This is about where I felt the book started to go downhill. Chloe and her friends all seemed much younger than the mid-twenties they are supposed to be, and their online interactions reaching out to Luke seemed like something preteens might do. None of the characters seemed as mature and nuanced as I would have liked.
In addition, both Chloe and Luke were really unlikeable. Chloe seemed pretty sad and pathetic, always crying, and Luke was a total pushover with no spine. Rather than making me cheer for the underdogs, the book just made me roll my eyes.
The side characters are sometimes the saving grace, and in this book I did like Chloe’s friend Elena. But both her other friend Devin and Luke’s bandmates all seemed like boring stereotypes.
Overall, I feel like the author has potential but her writing needs time to mature. Or maybe she should focus on writing for a younger audience.

Wow. I surprise myself sometimes. I thought I would be nibbling through this book as it is 11+ hours long, but here I am, finishing it over the long weekend. I guess it's because the prose is readable, despite the heroine and her friends having this tendency to act their age, as in really act their age. I find it quite irritating, but I kept reminding myself that their attitude also came with their age, so I guess the more proper way of putting it is that the author captured how young adults dealt with situations as they had. They, especially Chloe, did great so far, but this middle-aged reader just couldn't fathom some trivialities, if I may put it that way. But in the end, all ended well. Both Chloe and the hero Luke were able to make things work out for them, and I think the epilogue was just sweet. Sad to realize, though, that it centered around Chloe (a little update on Luke's band would have been appreciated). Either way, it was a fun read. The lesson here is, well, learn to deal with your consequences. This lesson knows no age, and I am glad that is one of the takeaways of this book.
Luke is a gorgeous rockstar from a famous rock band and when he met Chloe at an after party, it was clear they had a connection. A few weeks later Chloe got the gift that keeps on giving and it wasn’t money. So Luke and Chloe embarked on this new journey while he still has weeks left on his tour. They both have absentee parents issues which makes them both want to do better. I find this book drags, I really don’t care about doctor visits, morning sickness, or anything except the relationship of these two people. She spends more time with Elena and Devin than she does getting to know Luke. Chloe is twenty-one or twenty-two but I find her extremely childish and gullible for a college graduate. I like her two friends more than I like her character, it’s making it very difficult to identify with her in any way at all. I kept wanting someone to slap her, so I settled for someone throwing a pillow to her face. I still kept hoping this book would pick up but sadly it doesn’t. I’m giving this book three stars because the ending was good.
3.75 ⭐️ "Cameron's Guide to Accidentally Dating a Rockstar" follows Cameron, who unexpectedly finds herself in a fake relationship with a famous rockstar.
After a wild one-night stand, she ends up pregnant. It completely shifts their dynamic, and it’s fascinating to watch them navigate this surprise together. I’m not a fan of the surprise pregnancy trope but somehow this one works. I honestly also didn’t always connect with the female lead; there were moments where she felt a bit off-putting to me. But even with that, the story had a great mix of humor, heartfelt moments, and those swoon-worthy scenes that keep you engaged. It’s a fun, feel-good read that’s definitely worth picking up!

This story was cute. Chloe and Luke have a one night stand, which ends in Chloe getting pregnant. I love accidental pregnancy romances, but this one didn’t really speak or stick out to me. I feel like the characters didn’t really grow that much. At times I was very annoyed how Chloe and Luke had no back bone. They let everyone run all over them and disrespect them. Also I would’ve liked if the story had more detail and depth to it. I like my romance books with some steam and this one had none except kisses. I give it 4 stars because the epilogue was cute.

Thank you to BookSirens and the author for granting my request to read this e-ARC and provide my honest opinions.
Where do I even begin? This book absolutely got my heart ❤️. The story between Chloe and Luke was so endearing; right from the very first page, I knew I would love these two.
One-night stands and accidental pregnancy aren’t usually my go-to tropes, but the author did an amazing job with the characters and this book.
The character development, especially for Chloe and Luke, was done so well, and the side characters really stood out too.

This is the cutest romance that I have read this year <3 <3 In a world of boys, Luke is a gentleman who's ready to be a dad and is a soft daddy. This was such a refreshing read because each character had their own arc and the author did justice to each of them.
Although I was a little unsure about the plot since it could easily taken predictable turn and have stock characters who's dynamic and traits could be fit into a mould. I thoroughly enjoyed the nuanced and layered characters the authors introduced us to. And in the end, I was dying to read more.
Chloe Cameron’s Guide to Accidentally Dating a Rockstar is a cute story of a few fun tropes 🎸accidental pregnancy 🎸(sorta) fake dating 🎸he falls first 🎸forced proximity
Chloe and Luke are perfect together and complement each other well. I liked that they became such important friends to each other first- before diving into a relationship.
PS- please oh please write Elena’s HEA. She’s the one character that isn’t selfish and thinks of everyone ❤️
*this is my honest review, thank you for allowing me to read your ARC*
I feel like this tiptoed on the precipice of being a great book. There were a lot of fun elements to it like the friendship between Chloe, Elena, and Devin. I like how the bi-sexuality of Chloe and Devin were seamlessly mentioned without fanfare. There were conflicts with Chloe's personality and actions/thoughts. I don't know if having a one-night stand with a rock star and falling pregnant is 'guidebook' material, but this is a good iteration of the trope. I received a copy via BookSirens and all opinions are my own.
My husband’s grandma got me this book because the author is her librarian. I wasn’t excepting to love it as much as I did. This book was adorable! I loved Chloe and Luke. Their relationship throughout the book was so sweet and I think I fell in love with Luke. He’s so kind and patient with Chloe throughout the story. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading.
I really want more books about the other characters and another epilogue for Chloe and Luke too. I really want to know about Devin’s story.
Although I enjoyed the story I just did not like the fmc. Chloe was so meek, had no backbone and was such a coward. The way she let people talk to her just made me mad! She doesn’t even say anything to her dad or the mmc’s mother when they say mean things to her. She just ‘curls into herself’. Others treat her rudely and she does the same thing! I read till the end hoping she would get better but she really spoiled the book for me.
A very interesting story about change when you least expect it. Having to cope outside of your comfort zone and the power of friendships, family and love.
How people evolve and learn to take a leap of faith, learn to stand up for themselves and for the ones they love.
Love the different personalities of all the characters and how they support each other.

I got into this book right away and had a hard time putting it down. I enjoyed the tour and the relationships between the characters. The story started to slow after the tour and I really wish it could have kept up the momentum of the previous chapters. While I appreciate the Epilogue included, I think it went too far into the future, which made the pay-off a little underwhelming.

Fun to have found another Michigan author and with a debut book that really gets the characters right. I love Luke. Chole was a tiny bit annoying with her lack of communication with Luke but I guess you have to have some angst angle. I liked how both main characters grew and within their circle of good friends too. I see a book with Maverick on the horizon!!
For me this was a 3 ½ star sweet rock romances that leaves you feeling good. Chloe has a one-night stand that turns into a lifetime of connection with rockstar Luke. Once she finally tells him he wants her to go on tour with her and be a part of her life with both of them trying to keep things platonic. This is a lighter read that may be right up your alley.

This book is really enjoyable and interesting. It shows romance and great friendships. This book involves suspense and a hint of mystery. It is the perfect book for low spice readers.
