“Naturalist Eva Kinlaw has been following the caribou migration when she finds caribou taken down by something other than wolves. Too late she finds her hunters are aware of her, and are far more than animals. She is confronted by the leader of the pack, who makes her a tempting offer that she accepts, she will never be able to take back…”
I am a slightly crazy girl and I often get tied up in things, and I know I don't see the world the way other people do. I've always been a keen observer of people and relationships, and I have seen some very interesting things, and done a few! I love to write out my fantasies, desires, and dreams, and I firmly believe that just because something is different or unusual doesn't make it bad; all that matters are love and respect. I hope you like them too, and maybe they open a window for you to see things a little bit differently too. Stay safe!
Brains, in this case, is an ecologist studying the caribou herds in the far northern tundra. She becomes aware that something is awry, something else is trailing the herd as well, and she is shocked and surprised when the truth is revealed to her. While the werewolves of this story have brawn, they aren’t stupid either. The explanation of what they are and their relationship with ordinary men and women is very plausible, it’s a little more like science fiction than paranormal, but it still satisfies.
The Alpha is certainly that, and when the leader of the pack picks his mate she doesn’t refuse. It becomes clear he’s got plans for her, and not just in the bedroom.
Good plot, intriguing mystery, strong protagonists and steamy sex make this a tasty little read to be recommended.
