A very strong issue here. Two of the six stories were republished in the 2025 "Best Horror of the Year" anthology. "The Rock Statue" by Mark Falkin and "Mrs Crace" by Cliff McNish. I really like the McNish story. It is a "strange story" a la Robert Aikman.
Of the other four stories, I like three of them to one degree or another. I will single out "Fathoming the Pyramid" by Timothy Granville. Bad things happen when innocent architecture graduate students study a mysterious artifact in Britain. Editor David Longhorn is putting out an excellent magazine (or, more accurately, periodic chapbook) here. Seems to be published about twice a year, each issue about 80 or so pages when you get the print version. I recommend it without reservation.
