alright
This story was alright. I don’t like how Armani and Jaliah’s closeness/sisterhood seemed to dissipate once they met their men. The story also felt a little disjointed. I almost forgot about the other characters until it was their POV. The end was good though. Predictable though.
I couldn’t tell if Dylan’s full name was Dylanas or if it was a typo. Again, bubbled was overused. The timeline was off a little as well. Dinero should’ve already been one if two years passed and Reagan should’ve been 18, so she wouldn’t need to get emancipated.

Loved this as marriage of convenience and forced proximity trope. Like how does a first date turn into getting married to save your life?! Chop really stole the show. I wasn’t expecting the storyline either Dylan and Armani, but they and Chop ended up being my faves. Chop was hilarious. Rio was THAT man.🖤

This was GOOD!! I loved the first book & part 2 didn’t disappoint!
Chop has really grown on me after reading this book cuz 😂 He’s beyond crazy but he always has good reason to cut up when he does! & the way he loves Dylan & Armani really did it for me!
Love, Love, Love Rio & Jaliah!! I knew they would end up making the best of their situation!

Book 2 man I didn’t want this book to end. Good asf first of all ,I said I didn’t have a favorite but book 2 changed it for me . Chop growth man omggggg . ( I Sware I didn’t dislike him but I didn’t think I would like him so much ) The way he move with the girls , everything he did for the girls , just them period I love all three of the down Dylan & Armani and the both was identical to him & Rio the calm one and the one that will f ish up quick fast in a hurry. HE WAS COMING STRONG BEHIND THEM! still a fool but loved it!! ( the hospital scene that’s when I’m like ohh yea….. )

Okay
This was okay, but something was missing. The lack of the adults communicating how they should was irritating. That helped create the thought of something missing in the story. This wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either.

Chopppp 😍 I love me some Chop!! He’s grown so much from book 1. I really love how Armani and Dylan calm him. They complete him and it shows. He’s still crazy as hell but he’s much less reckless and more considerate. Great end to the series!

Great ending to a great series!
I loved the way Lakia wrapped up this series! Chop was determined to be with Armani and Dylan, Rio was determined he and Jaliah were going to be together and happy! Reagan found her big sister Armani and formed an unbreakable bond! In the end Mariah proved to be a snake and ultimately succumbed to a terrible fate! The Brooks brothers found love and in the end got their HEA! Great read!!!!

Chop Still Bae
I just love me some Chop. I love the bond and relationship he has with Dylan and Armani. They really make him a better version of himself. I don't blame him for what he did to Mariah. I would have never guessed that she was the cause of all the chaos and bull💩. Rio and Jaliah are also a great match. I'm glad they chose to give their marriage a real chance.💘💘

Full Circle Moment
The entangled web that formed in part one has become more like a fitted puzzle in this installment. I liked how this series played out. Everything came to a full circle once truths and secrets were revealed. Rio and Jaliah took their relationship back to the basics. Rio realized that they were feeling each other before Chop inserted himself in the mix. Jaliah fell in love with her husband without feeling like she had to. Armani, Dylan, and Chop's relationship actually worked for them. It was a maturing for Chop because it calmed and settled him all the way down. Chop would go to the ends of the earth for Dylan and Armani. The amount of love he portrayed in the hospital for Dyaln was honorable. He got the nurses and doctors moving to help Dylan so she wasn't in excruciating pain. He resolved the issues with the family business without the help of his brother or father. All in all, everyone got their happily ever after with the person or persons that were meant for them.
Ms. Lakia, job well done. The secrets that came out about the uncle and his daughter were a surprise. I wasn't expecting that. Also, the reconnection that Armani had with her loved one was totally unexpected as well. This series is entertaining and engaging. Therefore, I highly recommend it. Grab or download your copy today,

When I started this book I kept on thinking that our FMC is too independent and strong-willed for a marriage of convenience type of romance plot. So I was intrigued from that alone.
So here's the set up:
Jaliah, our FMC, sees something that she wasn't supposed to see. Brother of our MMC, Chop, decides that in order to keep her quiet, it's either she dies or she gets married to Rio, our MMC. Side plot also, Chop gets with these hotties in a beautiful and spicy relationship 🥵
The writing was pretty good. Our MMC went out of character for a quick minute. "A moment of weakness" as they like to call it. I rolled my eyes so hard because 1) that was out of character for him 2) it was so stupid 3) the other gal read him to filth which I found embarrassing but we move 🙄 It's an attempted cheating type of situation nothing actually happened cuz the other girl shut it down immediately, props to her!!!!
Besides that great books. Definitely revisiting this author's works again. Brixx is already downloaded, I just need to start it (soon hopefully 🤞🏾)! So yes, I'll recommend these books 💛

I thought Chop was gonna be gone after that ending in Book 1 but I’m happy he survived. Let’s start off with I didn’t think I was gonna be feeling the relationship with Dylan & Armani & Chop but in some weird way it worked. Like the 3 of them were really good for each other and I loved their bond, as crazy as that sounds. Seeing Rio not play when it came to Jaliah every single time was it for me. I know they got married in an unconventional way but watching it grow and turn into so much more was beautiful. My mouth was on the floor to learn Mariah did the things she did and I’m glad she got what she deserved. Armani finding out she had a sister and then them deciding nothing would come between them was so beautiful. Despite all the drama, all the mess, the secrets and even the lies, I loved how everyone got their HEA. This book was the perfect mix of unhinged men, love, greed, jealously, and standing on business behind those you love. Great job Miss MaMas!!

This was interesting... this book would have never been on my radar if my book bestie didn't tell me that i should read this first before getting into Brixx.
I'm trying to understand what I just read. I literally couldn't put the book down, but also, what was it about? What was the plot? I feel like I just read a bunch of short stories turned into a book. The book was entertaining, unhinged, chaotic, spicy & full of drama, so if you like that, read this book.
Chop definitely likes Dylan better!

This book was really good especially the relationship between Chop, Dylan, and Armani. Chop is still my favorite character because he was doing the most in this book and I was here for it. Rio and Jaliah were really cute and I love that Rio decided to be a family man. The stuff with the cousin was crazy because she really had no reason to do what she did to her family. The uncle pissed with off because of the way he did Chop. I love the fact that Armani reunited with her sister and I am looking forward to really her book.

I’m glad Río and Jaliyah decided to give their marriage a real chance and I loved that for them. Uncle knew he was wrong for back dooring Chop with Ronnie but Mariah shocked me the most and it was sad. But in the end things worked out for the better. Good job Lakia ❤️

Absolutely loved it!
This book was a great ending to the series. It was well written, flowed well and kept my attention. I was initially confused about the beef that Maria had with Armani, but I guess that she just didn’t like her lifestyle. The Brook brothers changed for the women that they loved. And their women loved them back. If you can’t trust your family, who can you trust? Mariah was definitely a snake in the grass.

This entire series was so good!
Author Lakia did her thing with this series! The Brooks brothers were imperfect and both entered their relationships in unconventional ways. I liked Rio from the beginning and by this second part Chop grew on me. His growth and character development was well written. I recommend this series especially if you love unconventional stories. I'm starting Reagan's story immediately.

DIDNT DISAPPOINT
Ok so the second book definitely didn’t disappoint!!! It’s so much drama in this series but i like how the second book bought it all together. Jaliah and rio love story definitely grew beyond all the bs and I love that for them. Chop got his poly relationship with Armani and Dylan wheewwwww. They dad finallY stopped chasing after rio mom once he realized she wasn’t gonna give him no play. The dramaaaaa

Very astonishing vibes
This book was very interesting from beginning to end. I loved how Rio and his wife ended up together it really was a match made out of unfortunate circumstances. And Chop I just love him his entire character was everything. He was it for Armani and Dillon because they definitely matched each other’s vibe. None stop Drama
I love Rio and Chop and their ladies,love the relationship that Dantae has with his sons,as well as Armani and Jailah’s parents. Not a fan of the poly relationship,but they made it work,and Chop was so protective.D’Angelo is as deceitful as they come. Don’t care for tattoos,but enjoy reading about Jailah’s profession,as well as her parents. Didn’t care for the extra swearing.

Mannn I knew these men were unhinged but they ain't playing about them ladies and i am here for it. As rocky as Jaliah and Rio started they were super cute and always made me smile. Chop, Armani and Dylan made me laugh because Dylan is quiet but will definitely activate but Chop and Armani are always on go so it's like best of both worlds. I read Brixx first but it didn't take away from anything and made me understand soo much more.

I never imagined that crazy Chop would be the sensitive brother. The way he loves Dylan and Armani just had me smiling and kicking my feet. He also didn’t play either. He’s a banger for real for real.
Rio made me so mad going to ole girl’s house, but that pivotal moment did bring him and Jaliah to a point of understanding. I’m glad they allowed their initial feelings to blossom.

This book was jammed pack with action. I was shocked to know ol’ girl was behind it all but although Chop may be a plum fool his intuition hasn’t failed him yet. I thoroughly enjoyed Chop, Dylan, & Armani’s relationship… them girls were just the dose he needed to tame him! I loved this series from beginning to end and I’m so glad the tI read it because I love this whole crew down… Rio and Jaliah yes hunny yes no matter how unconventional yall belonged together from day one… But I loving the entire throuple of Chop, Dylan and Armani because Chop wasn’t playing out his wives… Mariah really yo how dumb can you be… Overall this series was a damn good time and I can’t wait for what’s next

I like the fact that everybody found love in this book at the end the fact that Rio and Julia really did fall in love and he actually got to experience real love it was the best part about the story. I like the fact that chopper actually ended up getting love like he's supposed to and I was happy that he calmed down cause he was rowdy the whole time. I was trying to figure out who was trying to kill them and when it came out, who was a surprise the heck out of me.

Great Ending
This is a great ending.. The drama continues and there is a few twist. From who was trying to kill them to the new women in their lives. When the the truth comes to light, it is such a shocker as to who it is, trying to take them out. This author definitely has written a five star read.
