Tasty Cherry- Sebastian and Mila
Such fun reads. These are perfect when you need a fun, entertaining, smiley book.
Although not required, I would recommend the series be read in order as they are interconnected.
This book takes us back to the castle, you will know what that is if you have read the previous books. Sebastian is the manager, so he is over everything minus Havannah, which we met in Tasty Mango. Sebastian is out one night when he meets the beautiful Mila. One thing leaves to another, and when he wakes up the next morning, she is gone. A little upset over the fact, as he felt there was a real connection, but he has work to get to and moves on.
Mila has recently graduated in hospitality and is now going to be an intern at the Castle. The night before she starts work, she wants to finally get rid of her cherry and meets Sebastian. With the deed done, when she wakes up, she freaks and leaves the room. But that is only the beginning of the freak out, when she shows up for work and meets the manager of the Castle, Sebastian.
I’ve stated in the beginning, this book and the entire series are very fun reads. They are not too long, entertaining, fun, and light. Look forward to many more.

This was a very silly book but I t think we all knew that going in ya know?? Like cheesy Disney channel hijinks but make it the plot of an 80’sporno.

We're back at Havannah's castle hotel in Denver, CO, the place with secret suites, unique parties, and laughing donkeys from Avalonia. They’ve started an intern program with the best and brightest, and Mila Simmons has secured a spot.
Before she starts her new job, Mila has one pesky detail to take care of – her V card. And of course, the smoldering older local she picks up in a bar ends up being Havannah's right-hand man and the hotel manager, Sebastian Young. Fortunately, he’s not her direct boss, but it's still a sticky situation with his position of authority over the lowly interns. So they decide to forget the past and move on professionally. Except they can’t.
I adore this fictional world and I’m excited about the new series at the castle hotel. This one was different than the previous stories in this world. There's more emphasis on the smexy and the outrageous places Sebastian and Mila could get together, which eclipsed their growth and the emotion of the relationship. I missed there being more zany shenanigans and laugh-out-loud hilarity that this crafty storyteller has become known for.
Still, it's a fun, entertaining read and I love getting to know the interns and their unique personalities. A princess, a golden retriever, an uptight brown-noser, and a…well I don’t know exactly what Maverick is, but he’s a hoot, and I hope he finds redemption and his HEA. Either way, there's more fun and entertainment ahead with the new interns we've come to know and love.

Getting everything you want
I loved this forbidden, virgin, age gap, adorkable, oh they are going to get caught romance. I fell directly into the story on page one and only looked up after the last word. It was filled with all the emotions, the connections and the love. Mila and Sebastian are portrayed as real, relatable people who have flaws, but are really just trying to do their best as messy baggage carrying humans. Mila is a 22 year old virgin. She’s about to start her dream job at the Castle Hotel so she decides a ONS she picks up in a local bar is a perfect plan for her first time. The smexy time is phenomenal until she makes it awkward so she sneaks out of the hotel room to avoid having the ONS know who she is. Unfortunately for her, Sebastian, her ONS, is also the general manager of the Castle Hotel and her new boss. So she cannot avoid him but they agree to leave it as a ONS. Of course, their chemistry sizzled off the page and it pulled them together no matter how hard they tried to resist due to the fraternization policy. There is mild intern drama and machinations of the secondary characters which added to the fun and the depth of the story. The story was well written and included engaging dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and a captivating storyline as shown through sweet moments, spicy scenes, laughs, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, and all the heart squeezing love.

Another tasty read from J.J.Knight and book 3 in this series.
One Passionate night changes everything for both Mila and Sebastian.
Mila has secured an internship at the Havannah Castle Hotel,but before she starts her new job she is desperate to lose her V-card.
Luckily for Mila she meets a gorgeous older man in a bar and they hit it off immediately,the connection between them is instant....So a one night stand with this sexy stranger she will never meet again seems perfect and just like that Mila loses her V-Card in a wonderful way.
But fate has other plans for Mila as beginning her new job she discovers her one night stand is now her new boss,he is Sebastian young the manager to the hotel.
Talk about AWKWARD !!,Yes it certainly is and they try to be professional and not act on their obvious attraction....But the chemistry is too strong and a lustrious affair begins and under Sebastians experience Mila undergoes a sexual awakening.
Tasty Cherry is a delightful read that is funny,emotional and steamy..I loved the characters they were easy to relate to and fall in love with...even the side characters are adorable...and the shenanighans of the Hotel make great reading.
There is a bumpy ride towards an HEA for Mila and Sebastian,they both have issues to resolve before happiness can happen.
There is also a sweetness to the story too,and I enjoyed JJ.Knight's writing and storytelling and I did enjoy reading it.
A fabulous book.

Back with characters I love!
What a fun, entertaining story!
As a fan of all the stories in the Pickle universe, I was thrilled to see that the story was set in Havannah's castle!!
I enjoyed the personalities of all the interns, and the "competition" to be in charge, and give Havannah a well earned rest.
(Although Maverick tested my patience!)
The chemistry and connection between Sebastian and Mila is steamy and addictive. There was an age gap between these two, but I don't feel it was heavily focused upon.
There were a couple things that bugged me about how some of the situations were allowed, and then handled, but they didn't detract from the overall warm, happy feeling that this book gave me
Mila is/was respected by (almost) every one, and I was happy to see how this storyline swirled around all aspects of the Castle. There were the laughing donkeys, secret rooms, and everything I love about this author's creativity!!
Such a great HEA, and I loved all the Pickle family members and tie-ins. This story moved well and easily held my attention. I recommend reading this book, series, and more from this talented author.
I recommend being well read in all the stories in the Pickle world, as this will make this one even better!! I am really excited for the next one!!

Do you like age gap, boss-intern relationships, a story very similar to Grey's Anatomy, then Tasty Cherry is your type of book!
When it comes to JJ Knights books it is automatically a must read, and this one is no different. Tasty Cherry had me hooked from the first sentence. This story line is about Sebastian and Mila. From the name you would think it was about fruit, but nope it is about Mile who is a vigrin and she is starting a new internship and has been told that if she is still a vigin by the time she starts work they will find out and start to call her every name in the book because she is a virgin. So her mission before she starts her new position is to loose her V card. Well one night when she laid eyes on Sebastian, she knew right away he was going to be the one to “deflower” her. Little did she know that Sebastian is a little ore then just a one night stand, I don’t want to spoil it to much for everyone but just think about her new internship……If you want to find out if she looses her V card with Sebastian then you will need to read Tasty Cherry! You won’t be disappointed I know i wasn’t when i was reading it. The pages had me wanting to read faster to find out what happens next.

Mila has landed her dream internship. Working at the famous Castle Hotel in Boulder, Colorado owned by the stunning Havannah Boudreaux-McDonald. The night before her internship starts Mila decides to try to lose her v-card. Only when the her latest dance partner gets to be to much she's had enough and tries to leave. As she trying to leave and Carl won't let go does Sebastian come save the day. He's sexy and kind and just wow. They dance and talk and before you know it not wanting the night to end Mila invites her to her hotel room and it happens, she loses it. The next morning.. she leaves her hotel room and hides till Sebastian leaves. It was a one night only thing anyway right? Wrong, when Mila finally gets to the Castle she learns Uh-Oh Sebastian is her new boss. Now not knowing what to do she tries to stay away, they both do (there is that clause after all) This book was amazing. With laughter and sneaking around, so much fun to read. Ohh and Sebastian, everyone needs a Sebastian. JJ Knight has done it again with this book in the Tasty series. 10 out of 10 I recommend.

There are strict rules against this type of thing. It's bad enough that she isn't used to being chosen; there's no way he would risk his job for her. With all the drama going on due to another intern, they get complacent. Will either of them have a job after this? Will he choose her?
I usually dislike the whole self-doubt and body confidence issue trope, but it worked well here. Ilsa and Maverick are .... difficult characters to like. But Raya? Deep hatred for side characters is rare, but she earned that.

So Fun!
Mila and Sebastian were so fun to watch blossom from one night stand to forever partners!
He’s ten years older than her but with her being a late bloomer she’s more mature than most other 22 year old girls.
They of course get caught in a compromising position instead of being adults and talking to the big boss before hand. HOWEVER that kind of added to the humor of the story and the will they won’t they debate of their next steps.
Raya was an interesting character but I’m not sad to see her go!
The next trilogy in the castle is going to be fun!
I can’t wait to see Brooklyn, Owen and even Ilsa get their HEA!
This story was cute and I loved how Mila fit into Sebastian’s life perfectly! I would have loved to “see” a FaceTime call with her BFF from Texas though! That would have been fun!

They of course get caught in a compromising position instead of being adults and talking to the big boss before hand. HOWEVER that kind of added to the humor of the story and the will they won’t they debate of their next steps.
Raya was an interesting character but I’m not sad to see her go!
The next trilogy in the castle is going to be fun!
I can’t wait to see Brooklyn, Owen and even Ilsa get their HEA!
This story was cute and I loved how Mila fit into Sebastian’s life perfectly! I would have loved to “see” a FaceTime call with her BFF from Texas though! That would have been fun!

I always enjoy my time spent with this author's books because they are funny, engaging and pull at your heart strings. Mila is having a terrible time trying to lose her V card and then she meets Sebastian. He seems different and she is drawn to him. The next morning though, things get crazy!
I love how the author weaves her characters through her books and it always feels like spending time with old friends. The characters are fresh, intelligent and the interns are in their early twenties. Newly graduated they find themselves working at a castle of a hotel, learning the ins and outs of the business.

I loved Sebastian and Mila, their story is filled with ups and downs but they overcame it all in the end.
Mila is an intern at the Castle Hotel and she just wants to do her job and not jeopardize anything that will get her fired.
Mila and Sebastian meet at a bar, and their connection is almost instant. There is an age gap but she wants to lose her V-card before she starts her new job. Not realizing that Sebastian is the GM at the hotel, she hopes they can forget their one night together and they can work together. But the pull they share is making it difficult.
I enjoyed this story and can not wait for more from this series and group of characters. There is always something or someone that will make you smile or swoon. I hope you grab this one and enjoy it too.

Mila is excited to start her new job and what better way to celebrate then to finally have her first time. When she meets Sebastian, the sparks fly and he is her perfect choice. The night goes well but the morning after not so much however she now finds herself second guessing that decision when she finds out he is her new boss.
When Sebastian finds out that the woman, he spent the evening with is a new employee he knows the best decision would be to keep his distance. He had good intentions however his body and his heart doesn’t agree and that is when the complications really begin.
It was so much fun seeing Sebastian and Mila try to deny their attraction from each other as well as seeing what they would have to overcome if they were to have a future together.

Doesn't disappoint
Another book by JJ Knight that gives you all the feels while reading it. I cheered when Mila met Sebastian, she was trying so hard. Then when she found out that he was the general manager of the hotel and was thinking of calling off the romance I was pulling for him to convince her to continue. As they were going around the castle meeting for a few stolen moments together I was cheering them on but knew that there was always a chance that they would be caught. Then when they were caught, hoping that neither would be fired. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

Another tasty read from J.J. Knight and book 3 in this series. One Passionate night changes everything for both Mila and Sebastian. Mila has secured an internship at the Havannah Castle Hotel, but before she starts her new job she is desperate to lose her V-card. Luckily for Mila she meets a gorgeous older man in a bar and they hit it off immediately, the connection between them is instant....So a one night stand with this sexy stranger she will never meet again seems perfect and just like that Mila loses her V-Card in a wonderful way. But fate has other plans for Mila as beginning her new job she discovers her one night stand is now her new boss, he is Sebastian Young the manager to the hotel. Talk about AWKWARD! Yes it certainly is and they try to be professional and not act on their obvious attraction....But the chemistry is too strong and a lustrous affair begins and under Sebastian's experience Mila undergoes a sexual awakening. Tasty Cherry is a delightful read that is funny, emotional, and steamy. I loved the characters they were easy to relate to and fall in love with...even the side characters are adorable...and the shenanigan's of the Hotel make great reading. There is a bumpy ride towards an HEA for Mila and Sebastian, they both have issues to resolve before happiness can happen. There is also a sweetness to the story too, and I enjoyed J.J. Knight's writing and storytelling and I did enjoy reading it. A fabulous book. 5 Stars.- Cat W.

I love the protectiveness of Sebastian. All the ups and downs and insecurities of Mila! If you want a hot older man (not to much older) with tons of spice this is the book for you. Tasty Cherry
Mila and Sebastian have a few obstacles to overcome but there’s not a ton of conflict. The drama is fun and the characters are great. I’ve read many of the “Pickleverse” books and haven’t found one that I haven’t enjoyed.

J.J. Knight has done it again. Her Tasty Cherry book is just a good as the others in this category. This book is funny and full of hotness. It has wonderful characters and is entertaining without a dull moment. The first line in chapter one had me laughing and hooked. Mila's "Thank God virginity isn't visible, or mine would definitely be showing," is one of many funny tag lines throughout the story. The antics that Sebastian and Mila get into at work for a quicky are hilarious. I loved this swoon worthy book. I cannot wait to read others for J.J. Knight. She is a hoot of an author!

This book is Amazing as the rest of the series. If your looking for a love story with twists & turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat this is it. This story could go so many ways but your cheering on the characters & wanting more. JJ Knight has outdone herself once again & I will be waiting for her next book to come out & will re-read all her other books because they are worth it.

Sebastian and Mila have a one night wonderous affair, but then reality strikes hard when she finds herself starting a new job as an intern and discovers that he is the GM. Flirtations and sneaky indescretions abound but not only is their relationship in contravention to the fraternization rule, but they take advantage of the secrets hidden deep within the castle to create their own fantasy.

We are back at the castle of the pickleverse. No related Pickle family member is the part of our main couple. It's the general manager of the hotel and a new intern. Wow, what heat they bring. We get more details on the castle. Havannah has her second child, we get a quick visit with Anthony, age gap romance.
Decent plot, interesting characters, donkeys, and more in a tale as old time. LOL.

Not as good as others - read on KU
This book wasn't as enjoyable as others by this author. I found Mila to be annoying for half of the book. She didn't have a bad personality, but there is no way a woman makes it through college with the lack of knowledge about adult things even if they still have their v card. Her internal monolog was frequebtly like a preteen girl.
Sebastian was fine, but the story was lacking in general.

Another GREAT read in this WONDERFUL series!
This one is about how Mila and Sebastian find, and fall. In Love with each other. Oh, it is never completely easy, what with rivalries with other workers, but, on the other hand the Sex is undeniably good between the two of them. Remember, if you do not read. It, you will never learn how beautifully it is written and what the ending HEA really is.

Pickles for Everyone
Absolutely 💯 love the pickle series and loving the extension of their lives. It's like the story never ends, and you get to watch the original characters grow further in their dreams and life. Love love Mila. I wish there was a little more background in her life, but there was enough to give me a decent story of her life.

What a fun story. Five interns up for a coveted position. Mila is determined to pop her cherry before she starts. That’s when things get complicated and entertaining. What’s a girl and guy to do when they discover they both work at the same place… and there’s a fraternization clause? Great characters and story line. I’ve yet to go wrong with JJ Knight.

I loved the plot
I adored this book. I did however skip over the extra steamy parts to actually read the book. So I can't comment on the the steam level but I can co.me t that they were several pages long.
The plot was great. I was expressed with the fact that the main characters emphasized that when your confronted just be truthful. That's always the best policy.
