USA Today bestselling author Cynthia Sax writes steamy cyborg and alien romances. Her stories have been featured in Star Magazine, on TV, and numerous romance top ten lists.
When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world with her Dear Wonderful Hubby, meeting new people, visiting new places.
We're back on the planet the Humanoid Alliance is building their planet-destroying weapon on and Cure is about to find his special someone. Which is fun because Cure VERY MUCH comes across as an emotionless machine, when the truth is he's anything but.
Yep, the big guy feels. A lot. He might be a little rusty when it comes to interacting with those who aren't cyborgs (and maybe a little rusty when he interacts with cyborgs, too), but he's a darn good medic and it hurts him when he can't help someone. So he locks that side of him down and comes across as coldhearted.
Then he meets Cyra. Her shining kindness opens Cure up to softening his bedside manner. And once he does that, his walls start crumbling. Soon the two are working together to cure the disease the Humanoid Alliance has caused on the planet and making BIG PLANS to stop them from completing their weapon.
A distant planet, a dangerous plan, an immediate attraction, a male who has to distance himself so he doesn't get torn apart by his (perceived) failures, and a lady who is willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good. Fortunately for her, she has a protective cyborg who's going to help her come up with a plan that doesn't involve dying. GOOD STUFF!
Cyra is a human medic working on a planet whose natives are being abused by the Humanoid Alliance. She has been in contact with Cure, a cyborg medic as she strives to find a cure for the disease her patients are suffering from. The Alliance has been forcing the planets inhabitants to work in a dangerous mine and they have developed tumors that kill them painfully. Cure is sent to the planet to investigate what the Alliance is up to and discovers that Cyra is a female, human and his genetic match! The story chronicles their hot as heck romance and their attempts to find a cure and stop the Alliance. I enjoyed it.
I love Cynthia's cyborgs that I have taken for my own. While this is a sci-fi read, the focus in on the mating romance while Being concerned with a life threatening delimma. Cynthia shows how the mates come together and define how to overcome their problem and stay alive at the end. Each novel is the same, but each are very different. What will get is a great, very sexy love affirm, and a story that that has you worried, but rooting for our cyborgs and their loving mates. I,m a die hard fan, and have read each novels in each series, plus other books of Cynthia's. If you want romance and sci-fi together you won,t be disappointed. I love cyborgs!!!!!
Cynthia Sax writes hot cyborg and human romances that happen while traveling in space. Wow. The feelings, the worlds, the dramas occurring, so good. And strong females…🥰. 🥵😍
I'm so happy serious Cure got his happily ever after. This Doubtless series is as fun as all the rest. I'm excited to read about the rest of the Doubtless crew and how they meet their genetic matches.
I liked this cyborg romance. He finds his "genetic match" and she is dying from tumors because the Human Alliance is creating a dangerous weapon on the planet. He works to find a cure. She is a doctor and has already been searching for a cure.
I cried because a teenage girl dies from the tumors. They are her friends and they were asked to be with her during her final moments. It was heart breaking.
