If you're team Noble then this book you are going to love. LOL! If you're more like me and loved book one with the beautifully struck balance between the men...well, you're still going to enjoy this book...but not as much as you might have with that same balance as before. Renee has been captured by Andras! The moonstone? Absorbed into her body. Now what?! Well, girlfriend better figure out her new lease on life and break free! Which she does! Go Girl! But that is just the beginning of the drama. A mate bond has been established between her and Noble. Anyone with sense knows Red is special, but that doesn't stop Noble from wanting to mark her like territory. Simply meaning, no one else (on his part) is wanted around her. With this book being so heavy on the Noble side, it ends up dragging a bit. There is more steamy in this installment (obviously), but I wanted more with the other guys. Of course, the authors pull a "Star Wars" with Torin's situation, but I loved how all the pieces come together. Cliffhanger? Check. Where do things go from here? We'll have to wait and see. Hopefully book 3 will be more balanced cuz I got a thing for Dax and Mathis.
*Reverse Harem *Paranormal *Multi-1st-PoV *Wolf Shifters *Unknown FMC *Rival Packs *Mate Bonds *Building Harem (4) *Mid-Burn *Book 2/? Picking up immediately after the disaster of the first book it definitely starts off with high action! Ren has a lot to come to turn with in terms of the changes the Moonstone has brought about for her and what this could possibly mean….it paints a bigger target in her back 😬 she has plenty of questions that need answering and you she her coming to terms with this throughout the book! There’s a lot of challenge in this book between the men who Ren associates with: Torin is just the worse and honestly there’s not much redeemable about him atm; Noble is devoted to this girl and will do what he can to help her; Mathis is struggling with the responsibility on his shoulder but Ren offers him solace; and Dac is wild and animalistic yet is obsessed with the girl who tames him 😍 they need to come together to save the wolves against Andras, yet it appears there’s some divides they might not overcome 😣 see this what happens in the next one!
I still absolutely loved the first in the series and was super excited that the second was available as a copy. And I cannot wait for the trilogy to be completed.
That being said, something about Ren in this book was different than the first. I don't necessarily mean the whole wolf thing. It was just something with the interactions with Torin that seemed off somehow.
I love Noble, but I do find it odd that he wasn't the one who was searching for Ren to begin with, considering what happened. I can't wait to find out the PTSD breakdown with Dax. I adore Mathis.
While some of the storyline was easy to surmise, it's still a nice ride.
Ren oh how I have missed you!!! Harper A. Brooks and Brea Viragh are back with the second book in the Bad Wolves series, Never Submit, and man am I hear for it! If you're a fan of hot and steamy fated mates shifter romances featuring a BA heroine and four sexy alpha males to back her up and fulfill all her needs--this is the one for you! Because seriously, Dax, Noble, Torin, and Mathis know how to bring the heat and take care of their own Little Red.
It's been a while since book one, so I had to refresh my memory of what exactly happened. Once I got back on track, I didn't want to put it down. Ren is coping with some change and also trying to navigate her mates. I was disappointed in one of them, but he's got to come around eventually. There is so much tension between them, that when it fully breaks, it's going to explode.
When I got towards the end, I knew something was going to happen, but wasn't sure how. After that one, I can't wait for the next to see how Ren and her mates will handle the storm coming their way.
If you love badass heroines, possessive wolf shifters, and a romance hotter than a full moon bonfire, Never Submit is your next obsession. Our girl has had enough of being kidnapped, underestimated, and finally awakening the beast within.
Ren will show everyone exactly why Little Red shouldn't be messed with.
And the four dangerously devoted alphas? Swoon city. Dax, Noble, Torin, and Mathis don't just protect her, and they stand beside her as she rises into her power. With pulse-pounding action, steamy tension, and non-stop twists, this book owns the reverse harem shifter genre.
It's been a minute since book one, so diving back into this book world was so wonderful! I missed these characters, especially Ren! I love Ren - her fierceness, her unwillingness to back down - such a badass fmc. Then you add in the remainder of this amazing cast, all the alpha drama, danger, and a cliffy that will leave you dying for more. This series is a definite must-read!
I didn't hesitate, I jumped feet first into this book after book 1, I mean, THAT ending! In this book, the plot really pounds away, each page a new event, each page a new revelation. Vibrant. Vicious. Intense. Becoming more intricate along the way.
So much has happened to Ren in the last book, from having a de*th sentence hanging over her head, to going totally, unexpectedly, gaga over 4 yummy guys, to battling for her life, to becoming something different. Ren 2.0...But her new situation is worse than any of that, far, far worse! And the guys? Well...not on the same page that's for sure! Noble is distraught, Torin is in denial, he's actually being a d*ck to everyone around him and especially to Noble, Dax is holding on by a thread, but, his thread is already worn and frayed.... and Matias, well, he's doing his utmost to be as level headed as he can be. He at least acknowledges they need help to protect their pack. Oh, and rescue Ren... Sworn enemies, some with a few loose screws rattling around their heads, swallow their pride and man up. Or wolf up.
But, surprise surprise, Ren is not the helpless little human, nope, she's MORE. Only thing is, now she's even more confused, more shocked at what happened, more shocked at her undeniably strong emotions and needs. That make no sense to her. The authors really captured it all, flawlessly. The uncertainty of her certainty, of her wants is palpable, screams from the pages at the same time it does in her head. I loved seeing Ren become... more...surprisingly both me and her. Her connection to the guys is strange, none of them can figure it out and the dribbles the authors give us paint a clearer picture, bit by bit. As more of the inner turmoil is exposed, so too is the who they are, what they think, why they are as they are. And, honestly, it solidified how much I feel for them. And then a major bombshell explodes, like OMG HUGE, and they rally once more, together.
Dax, the agony of what he can't remember tortures him, makes him feral and hells if it didn't cut me to my core. Torin, dutiful, bringing his wolves into the new age, confused, but adamant, on his impending nuptials with the colder than fish Catarina. Mathis, a traditionalist, caring, protective, but tough. Noble, warm, gentle, loving, loyal, hiding hurts. All have a unique voice, all are cool. And all have a major thing for Ren. The different POVs allows me access to their thoughts and they are nothing like the outward facades they don. They are real, which we see with each subsequent chapter, their fears, their resolve, vying for equal attention.
Oh golly did I love the confusion, the jealousy, the processing of what actually is or isn't. The "newness" of it all, of Ren, from Ren, for Ren. Yet the threat they all face deadly, determined and somehow seems to always be one step ahead of them. That would be Andras, now that's a piece of work! Vile and vicious, he has no qualms with violence, he has no qualms doing whatever he wants, to get whatever he wants. And now Ren is added to his agenda, the ultimate predator, he has her in his crosshairs. These authors kept me enthralled throughout this book, expanding on the characters, building on the previous book fabulously. Anna, Flora, both cool in different ways, and Carrigan? Well, she's a dream! Her fierce protectiveness of Ren, in any situation, with anyone, shows exactly what an awesome friend she is.
Twisty, twirly, swirling round and round, the perfect hurricane effect. Lashes at first, then the calm of the eye and back into devastation, of emotions, events, action. And a cliffhanger that nearly slayed me! So...yes...off to book 3!
What to expect: ✨️ 1st person, shifting pov ✨️ Shifter Romance ✨️ Little red riding hood retelling ✨️ Fast burn ✨️ Reverse Harem, no ⚔️ ✨️ Mystery and magic ✨️ Kinks/spice: knotting, primal play, spit roasting, blow jobs, light degredation, light humiliation, light bdsm themes ✨️ TW: mental health, PTSD
Never submit is the second book in the Bad Wolves series, and guys I gotta say, I struggled with this one and here's why.
I want to love this book. I really really do. And I'm really enjoying the idea of this story and Dax and Mathis and even Noble. But the writing can be really confusing. There's often congruencey issues and a disconnect between what's just happened and what's happening now and it makes the story hard to follow at times. There's is also a loooooooot of inner monologue as well. Like. Alot. This story could be much shorter without the extended and way too drawn out internal conversations each character (I'm looking at you Ren and Torin) seems to have every few pages.
And im sorry but Torin is becoming insufferable. Like, my, guy. Please. Just stop. This grumpy, self hating but also self righteous routine is getting old fast. Ren is also kinda useless in this book. She's doesnt really do anything, and is very much a damsel in distress but I think that might be the point so I'm going with it.
Dax is still my main man 😍 He is everything with his unhinged personality and possessive masculinity. The introduction of his PTSD and what's seems to be a glimpse into what could potentially be his tragic backstop adds another interesting twist and im looking forward to finding out what it is.... and I really hope it doesn't fall flat 🤞
Now having said all that, I will still keep reading this series as it has really good potential and I really want to see where it goes 🤷♀️
Torin is alpha and thinking. They lost Ren and the moonstone up on the mountain. He wants power and that means he needs Ren. He needs to hunt for a long lost weapon. Ren is waking up and trying to get her wits together. She's in a cage she's bleeding and the moonstone is gone. Then she meets Andras. He is an alpha but feels more alpha than Torin. He's keeping her locked up. He can't wait for the Steel Claws to come for her.She decides she needs to escape. She is stuck and can't get the bars to open. Then her hands transforms. What??!! Mathis is in his office recalling the battle and retreat. He knows Andras has Ren. He realizes Andras has beene manipulating everything. He finds out that more of their females have been taken. Noble tells Torin that Ren is his mate. He feels her. Dax, a delta, has left his alpha Mathis. He's been hunting for Ren. He suggests banding together with Noble and Torin. So a meeting is set up. The Grey Valley and Steel Claws have been rivals but now need to try to band together to get the moonstone back. While some want Ren back. Then Dex finds her. Then Noble finds her. They return to Torin. The fun and games are still going on. Not one of the alphas want to give up control. Torin is engaged even though Ren calls to him. He is in control. No one can make him do anything. The threat of Andras comes closer and Mathis and his pack head to Torin's pack. Time is slowly speeding up. When will Andras come for Torin's pack? Will the alpha's finally get it together? Will Ren be ableb to get them past their stupidity? A story that is exciting and some what twisted. A strong woman who refuses to back down.

Never Submit by Harper A. Brooks is a wild, pulse-pounding continuation of the Bad Wolves series, packed with action, romance, and a heroine who refuses to be broken. If you love reverse harem shifter romances with fated mates, deadly stakes, and a heroine embracing her true power, this book is an absolute must-read.
Kidnapped by the most dangerous wolf pack in the country, our heroine has every reason to feel helpless—but instead, she’s awakening. The curse that once kept her powerless is gone, revealing the warrior within. With the Moon Goddess’ temple in ruins and enemies closing in, she’s not just fighting for survival—she’s fighting for her pack, her lovers, and the destiny she was born for.
And let’s talk about her four wolves—Dax, Noble, Torin, and Mathis. Their devotion, strength, and undeniable chemistry with her add so much heat and heart to this story. Their bond is tested as they fight to rescue her, and the slow-burn tension explodes into high-stakes passion that makes every moment swoon-worthy.
The world-building in this series is phenomenal—magic, fate, and wolf politics all collide in a way that keeps you hooked. And the heroine? She’s done being prey. Watching her embrace her power, sharpen her claws, and become the force she was always meant to be is absolutely thrilling.
If you love dark paranormal romance with intense action, scorching chemistry, and a heroine who claims her own fate, Never Submit will leave you breathless and begging for the next book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A gripping, action-packed wolf shifter romance with heat, heart, and a heroine who refuses to bow!.
It had been a while since the first book in this series was released, but it still kept popping up in my head at times. That's quite rare, I tend to forget about a book or ongoing series quite quickly, but I really loved that first book. The dynamic between Red's four wolf shifters was filled with so much tension and resentment, I absolutely couldn't wait to see how it would evolve in the next book(s). So yeah, I was extremely happy to find out Red's bad wolves were back!
And bad they are... Red might have some self-esteem issues at times, but I think she's a badass in how she manages these four men. A woman like this deserves a statue: she knows what she stands for, and doesn't let herself be pulled in a direction that doesn't match with what she feels and believes in. It's the only way I believe a relationship with four pigheaded men like this can work, and I loved to see them slowly find ways to communicate better and to connect with each other. There still remains a lot of tension between all of them, but I was happy to see the authors paying more attention to the relationship building in this second book so we can watch it happen in a way that feels realistic.
Even though this book holds a lot of pages, it was still over too soon. I'm quite invested in these characters, and I hope there will be some groveling in a certain alpha's future. I noticed the pre order for book three is up and not too far away, so I really hope I'll be able to continue reading this series soon!
Bad Wolves Book 2 picks up right where the first installment left off, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. From the very first page, the tension and danger grab you, making it impossible to put down. Ren and her mates are back, and the stakes are higher than ever. With danger lurking around every corner, you’ll be at the edge of your seat, racing through the pages to find out what happens next.
The cliffhanger ending? Utterly brutal, but in the best possible way. While I’m eagerly awaiting the next book (which won’t be out for several months, unfortunately), I can’t help but wonder what’s next for Ren. Will she get her happy ending? Or will there be more twists and turns before she does?
And let’s talk about Torin—oh boy, he’s got some serious groveling to do! His emotional denial adds such complexity to the story, and I can’t wait to see him put in the work to earn his redemption. The dynamic between Ren and her mates is captivating, and I’m left craving more.
If you loved the first book, Bad Wolves Book 2 is a must-read. I wholeheartedly recommend both books to anyone who enjoys an intense, page-turning story filled with suspense, romance, and high stakes. I’m counting the days until the next one arrives!
As always, this review is completely voluntary, and I’ve received no compensation. The opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Because it's been a while since the last book I had a quick re read/skim through of book 1, Never Prey to refresh my memory and I'm glad I did. There was so much story already I needed the refresher to keep up! So we enter this book with Ren captured and caged by Andras. The moonstone has been absorbed into her body and he knows as he witnessed it. Who ever has the moonstone holds great power and he wants it. Unless Noble, Torin, Mathis and Dax can rescue her or unless she can escape on her own there is little hope for her. But the moonstone has brought about changes to Ren, so will her new abilities help her in her bid for freedom? This book surpassed my expectations. I loved the first book but this book brought so much more. There is so much more to the story than we first thought. Noble was the first to bond with Ren but more bonds seem to be snapping into place which is not heard of in their packs. Three of the four men want her and the fourth, Torin is denying his pull to her as he is engaged to be married, in a marriage of convenience to another woman. As expected this book does end with a cliffhanger. And it is a shocker! I don't mean that in a bad way, it is actually pretty amazing how something in the book that seemed slightly inconsequential at the time led to this ending. It was very cleverly written and I am biting my fingernails waiting for the next book
It's been a minute since Never Prey was released, and I admit I forgot about the series; however, after starting Never Submit, it all came flowing back. A human MFC, rival packs, magical artifacts, and a goddess. I enjoyed the first book, but I dare say this book is better.
Ren has undergone a lot of changes in this book. She's more confident and assertive and is taking charge in certain situations. I like the changes, and I hope they continue. There's tension building between Ren and the guys, and it's killing me. I like the guys, except Torin; he's an alphole, and I'm just going to say no to his brand of BS. I don't like how his relationship with Ren is portrayed at all. As for the others, I like the way things are developing between them and how their feelings are getting deeper.
Plot-wise, things are getting interesting. The third alpha has been introduced. Andras is a psychopath and not in a good way. I do have to admit he's smarter than I would have thought. The mystery surrounding Ren is only getting deeper and has me wondering where it all leads. The story ended with a shocking two-part plot twist that left me flabbergasted. It was pure chaos. I really enjoyed Never Submit. I can't wait for Never Tamed to see how Harper and Brea will get us out of this mess.
The book opens with Ren having absorbed the moon stone, and was captured by Andras. There is a change going on with Ren that she is not aware of and as it becomes apparent she is having to learn how to control it. She escapes Andras prison and is rescued from Andras’ wolves tracking her and is taken back to Torin’s strong hold. After losing two more females from his pack, Mathis’s meets up with Torin and agrees to make an alliance between the Grey Valley and Steel Claws packs to take on Andras. I could go on however I don’t want to spoil it for you this story includes rival packs, a goddess, betrayal and how each of the men from the two packs Mathis, Dax, Noble, and Torin are all attracted to Ren and Ren’s attraction to all the men. How will this situation resolve its self as usually wolves only have one mate. Torin’s upcoming nuptials to Catarina to formalize the alliance between his pack and her, which will help him defeat Andras’ pack. Will Torin stop trying to prove himself to his father’s standards even though he has no respect for the man. There so much to this book that kept me reading in to the wee hours of the morning to find out all the answers. The cliffhanger, figures it is right at the point you are saying wait, just give me a bit more.
I couldn't wait to get my hands on book 2 to see what happened after the cliffhanger ending of book 1. I was surprised to start off with Noble who quickly fills in what has happened since then.
The stakes get even higher in this one. Andras carries out even more violence in his quest to rule all. He is one to not be underestimated.
I liked the mix of guys in the last one and I grew to like them even more. They each bring something different to the relationship. While, Torin's is more that I want to smack him upside the head, the others shine as their bonds grow. I adored how they still support Ren as she adjusts to the not human world. We get a glimpse of Dax's past and it is something that explains why he is so traumatized.
One choice has the way to open up what has really been going on behind the scenes. I didn't see it coming and my mind was blown. Ren is coming into her own, but is still in danger.
I can't wait for book 3 to see what comes next.
This was one story I didn't want to put down and can already see myself reading the series again.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book begins where Book 1 left off with Ren having been captured by Andras and his pack. Andres is your typical evil alpha villain who'll do anything, cross any line, to get what he wants.
Torin and Mathis, along with their Betas, Dax and Noble, have to do the one thing they don't want to do, work together, to keep Ren safe once she's back in their arms.
Ren really grows into herself in this book, whereas before, she doubted her strength but, now that she has the power of the moonstone, she finally can envision a life without fear of death, at least not from a physical ailment.
Andras wants Ren back after she escaped and keeps pushing and taking from Torins and Mathis packs and Torin feels like his only answer is to go through with his engagement and wedding to Catarina.
There's more spice in this book as Ren explores her emotions and attachments to her guys, not as much with Torin, who's in self denial a lot of the book.
The book does end on a cliffhanger so, we'll see if Ren gets her HEA in book 3, that she so deserves!
After enjoying book 1 and left with a cliff hangar could not wait to get into book 2 and certainly not disappointed as story starts from where first book ends.
At first like in book 1 did take a chapter or so to get emerged and gripped into the story that found it hard to put down but once it gets going I found it highly addictive to learn more of Ren (Dax's Little Red) and her four unexpected and diverse four werewolf men. Two alphas and their two betas all attracted to Ren and her unpredictable, sassy and yet vulnerable heroine. The four men are totally different is no many ways but they all merge into fulfilling different needs of Ren. A very complex, unforeseen and surprising group of five people coming together into a gripping story with lots of spice, fun, intrigue and magical supernatural adventure, with of course our baddy to be overcome and some nice unpredicted twists and turns.
A very enjoyable read in so many ways.

After Ren's capture and the issue with the moonstone, she is not only going to live longer - she is also changing. And since she wasn't born as a wolf, the change now accentuates her uniqueness even more. Escaping her prison, Ren has to deal with the challenges her change brings, including raging emotions, and try to figure out how to stop a disaster in a meanwhile.. The second book in the series is full of turmoil and internal conflicts, where especially Torin excels at being a complete jerk, ignoring his own needs and desires "for the greater good". I really enjoyed how the four men that are Ren's mates gradually come together, from tentative truce based on the need for alliance, to genuine acceptance or understanding. Ren is the glue, the centerpiece that unites them, but to complete what the fate orchestrated, they all have to survive that cliffhanger... and I cannot wait for more.
I absolutely loved the first book in this series, so before diving into the sequel, I decided to give it a quick re-read. Honestly, it was just as amazing the second time around!
This second installment picks up seamlessly from where book one left off, and the tension and danger pull you in right away. And let’s talk about the spice—there’s a lot of it! While I enjoy a good steamy scene, I found myself skimming through some of them because it started to feel more like smut than plot. That part was a little disappointing, but overall, it was still a solid read.
That said, I’m really holding out hope that the next book will bring more depth to the story. And Torin? He’s got some serious groveling to do—he’s clearly in denial about his feelings, and I need to see him put in the work next time!
Thoughts: Book 2 in the trilogy was just as exciting as the first. There’s lots of Spice and growing bonds between Ren and her Wolves. I love how her relationship with each of her wolves is slightly different. My favourite is the volatile Dax who seems to be having PTSD and the uptight Torin who likes to be called Sir. Like the first, this book ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for the final book!
🛑Please read all the author warnings as themes and events in this book could be triggering. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I freaking knew it! Cannot say more than that, do not want to give anything away. But wow, what a spicy ride. So many questions left to answer. Prepare yourself for a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to see what happens in book three.
Growing pains is the best thing I can think of to describe this book. With the packs, their relationships, and themselves. Ren and her men. I loved it but man, did I want to reach through my tablet and punch Torin. Several curse words directed at him while reading this book. Dax still a big mystery waiting to explode. “Her very own big bad wolf.” Mathis, always able to put her at ease. Her calm in the storm. Noble, his name fitting, kindness and understanding she needs. Ren trying to deal with all the changes in her life the best she can, in a world still very new to her. A spicy adventure that will leave you panting for more.
I have been waiting and waiting for this book. It did not disappoint. I absolutely love Ren and her personality. She sees herself as weak and not very strong and at times let it hold her back, but she has so much strength inside of herself. We see glimpses of it as she learns to navigate the new world she is living in. I love Dax with all his crazy tendencies, Noble for being the rock they all need, Mathis with his strength and heart. Then we have some very mixed feelings towards Torin. One minute he shows why he is an alpha then next you just want to shake some sense into him. The story is extremely well written and developed. These two authors together definitely blend seamlessly. We end this one in another major cliffhanger and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next.
Part II of this series was just as enthralling as Part I and if the MAJOR cliffhanger the first book gave readers was any indication, this one will weave a fantastic tale. One thing I missed in Book I was that there wasn’t too much mention of Bestie later on but it’s up to readers to find out if she makes a reappearance🤫Ren definitely seems to show more of the different side of her that readers started seeing at the end of Book I, which creates one question: Will she be the damsel in distress or will she be her own heroine? In Book II there’s a new rival pack to face off with and things definitely started intense😬 New conflicts arise and it seems like fate wove the strings to intertwine the Steel Claws and Grey Valley once again. This time, will they work together or plot revenge on the opponent as well as Blood Moon? 🐺
Book two of the Bad Wolves series starts up where book one left off. Ren has been captured by Andras and taken to god knows where and the guys are left not knowing what to do. Noble is determined to get her back because she is his mate, and the two alphas; Mathis and Torin say they want to get back because of the Moonstone, lastly Dax, well he's just Dax and I adore him.
A lot has happened and Ren needs to figure a way to get away from Andras before it's too late. There are also things physically happening to her that she can't explain after she absorbed the Moonstone in the last book.
Once away from Andras it's a fight for her life, and the lives of those she cares about because he won't stop hunting her. There's lots of steam between all of the men and Ren and I enjoyed every minute of it. We ended on another cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what happens in book three.
OMG, OMG!!! I'm literally shaking right now. The first book was good the second book was even better. But the Cliffhangers are enough to cause me a heart attack. I really don't like Torin. He's stubborn, egotistical, selfish and completely blind to what his pack really needs. Dax and Mathis are by far my favorite Noble is a close second place. Ren is a total bad a$@ who I absolutely love. I wish the mate Bond would click into place with Dax because he's the one that needs it the most and deserves it the most. I also wonder if it clicks into place with him if he'll retrieve his memories of his past. I have a feeling that Andreas has something to do with his missing past. I hate that the next book doesn't come out for so long.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Book two picks up where one leaves off. Ren has been taken by Andras and his pack. Evil alpha is the typical bad guy. But Ren is such a baddie, she has figured things out having to learn to control the moon stone. Having escaped the bad guy, she is chased and saved, and taken back to Torin. Pacts are made and concessions are put into place because Ren's guys all need to work together to keep her safe. How will everything work out? Can the packs work together for the love of Ren? Can Ren love Mathis, Dax, Noble and Torin as well. Can she learn to control her powers? There is so much to read here and absorb. That ending is so brutal as well, but it is in a I need the next book now. So far I am really enjoying this series and the characters, I would definitely recommend.
Ren is back! The struggle is still real as she has to deal with being taken by their enemy and having the moonstone becoming a part of her.
It's been a little while since the first book came out but it didn't take long for me find myself being pulled back into this wolf shifter RH world. Where the packs will have to work together or have their common enemy destroy both packs. It's a tricky situation...and that's before you add Ren to the mix.
There is plenty of conflict and plenty of heat. Noble and Mathias help Ren so much. I need to know what's going on with Dax. Whatever is being suppressed in his head is going to be shocking. Torin is going to have a lot to answer for in the next book. And that betrayal at the end was...
Couple things to say about this series so far. It has a good bit of spice with a couple tropes included fated mates, reverse harem/why choose, kind of enemies to lovers, with a taste of dark romance to it at times, and a few more minor ones.
Though this series is entertaining it feels like the plot kind of takes a back seat to the FMC having smexy fun with werewolves. Fair warning the ending of this book is in the middle of a climactic fight. If you're not a fan of cliffhangers you might prefer to wait till the series is complete.
Kinda spoilers: Some of the spicy scenes feel kind of forced. Both in the scene and in the story line. Just a bit of smut for the sake of smut.
