Sweet!
Although this book WAS sweet, make no mistake, Zarah stayed on her BOSS ISH!
I loved how she was unapologetic in her strong personality. She very much gave alpha female, but when the right man came along, Kane, she dialed it back and let him lead.
This was a really good story and I enjoyed reading g about this family. I definitely skipped a book or 2 by accident, because I didn't realize there was only one sibling left. Let me run back to see what I missed
(I will add, the story well very well to me even with a missing story or 2, so I know it's a series, and I would have gotten more back story, but I followed along perfectly)
Glad to see Byron got what he had coming and I love when we can read about healthy coparenting situations. It's not always drama and bitter baby mama/daddy.

I am Zarah and didn’t even know it 😮💨
I really loved to see the strong black woman don’t need a man for a thing thrive. A lot of times it’s always “she’s missing something” and she’s an itch-bay. although Zarah was missing her man it wasn’t focused on that. And my girl wasnt an itch-bay!! We focused on her just healing and opening her heart. Kane just knew and I’m glad he stood his ground in the beginning! Don’t let her slide baby! 😂 but he also knew he was just what she needed and vice versa. The man had hella BDE 😮💨😮💨

Zarah and Kane
4.5 ⭐️ Zarah is that girl. She did not care what others thought she did as she pleased and I loved that for her. Kane was such a gentleman and Zarah allowed him to be just that. I loved the dynamic in Kane and Zarah’s relationship. I’m loving this series!!!!!

KANE IS MY MAN Y'ALL CANT HAVE HIM!!
When I tell you that this book Bae was everything. I already knew I would like Zarah her personality was literally me in a nutshell or at least a part of the me. Kane came in like a whirlwind. Like literally I fell in love a minute that man opened his mouth. He was like syrup sweet yummy sexy smooth goodness. His affirmations towards Zarah were absolutely breathtaking. I love the maturity that both he and she had as a couple and also I love the maturity that he had with his sons Mother and that he didn't be little her when she made mistakes. Tears were shed tears were shed because miss Iesha Bree just writes romance so beautiful and it's never what I'm expecting. I don't even know what I went into this expecting but it definitely transcend any thoughts that I had about what I was getting from this book. She never misses I loved the father moment when like she got that last bit of reassurance she needed from her father and the messages that were given to her other siblings that was a most beautiful thing that I've ever read in my life. This book definitely hit a note in my heart about some things that I've been avaluating as of late since I've turned 30. I always keep up with the author's post and when she said there was something very healing about this she could not have said it better. I really can't wait for Kinsley's book because I know that 1 is going to take me on a ride and I am so proud of my girl and everything and how far she's come even inYour sister's book and the books before this. I just know miss Bree is gonna do us good with ending the series I've been enjoying the ride and if you have not tuned in please do yourself a favor and read the Dang series now don't wait read it now.

Can’t stay behind the emotional wall forever
Zarah had a wall up around her heart that was impenetrable. She was a boss, very independent, smart, knew her worth and no man was worth her time. She was not opening up, allowing emotions, and letting down her walls for no man. Her family barely got behind the wall. A man can get sex on her terms and at her convenience. If they caught feelings, she was out.
Kane was a father, had a past that he’s paid his debt to society for, and started his own successful business. He may be removed from that life but he’s still bout that life so don’t push him. He was all man, played no games, and stood on business. He knew what he wanted out of like and love and didn’t have time for games.
Zarah and Kane had a connection from the moment their eyes met. That pull was strong. But they were two people who wanted different things from the other, but couldn’t let each other go.
I enjoyed the push and pull and back and forth between Kane and Zarah. I didn’t get frustrated with her not surrendering so easily. He worked for it, built up her trust, developed a relationship, let her know of his intentions, pursued her and remained consistent. She couldn’t help but respond to all of that - all of him.
He was worth the surrender.

Kane and Zarah!!!
Kane was a low key individual who was ready to have a lasting relationship and Zarah wasn't looking for a serious relationship due to her past relationships and losing the first man she ever loved. Kane and Zarah first came in contact due to his wood-working skills being needed at her resort. I was glad when Zarah stopped playing games and decided to give Kane a chance since he wasn't about the games. The way she let down her walls and allowed him to care for and love her was a beautiful thing. Byron was a true nut. He just couldn't accept Zarah now having a real man in her life. I didn't feel sorry for him when he got those hands. He got what he deserved. I loved the relationship that Kane had with his ex. Instead of bitterness between them, they worked together as co-parents to raise a normal and healthy boy. Jamall was so adorable and you could tell that he taking Kane's guidance to heart. This was a great addition to the series that I truly enjoyed!!!

Feelings..so deep in my feelings!
This book had me in my feelings...Zarah is very much that girl, okay! She is giving successful, independent, black queen who's playing by her own rules, with a guarded heart. To her she's keeping things plain and simple, you get yours I get mine type of vibe but honestly just because you're playing by your own rules that doesn't mean the other players involved will and honestly that's where things get sticky but Mr. Kane is going to get my good sis all the way together. Kane is the definition of "my past does not define me". He's a strong black, successful, single father who knows exactly what he wants which is Zarah. I love how he sets boundaries and stands on business when it comes to Zarah. Normally it's the other way around but this time it's the man letting the woman know that "he's the catch and if you want me come correct". Oh and baby when Zarah surrenders her heart whewww... y'all go read the book to find out!

Kings surrender
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was good seeing Zarah find a man who reminded her of her father and made her want to submit and finally let her guard down. I loved how Kane loved on Zarah and made her feel secure and safe with him so that she could let her guard down and experience all the love he had to offer. This man was so patient with her while she tried to play games and do him like she did other men, but he said he knew his worth and wasn’t settling for less than her heart. It was also nice getting an update on the King siblings as well. I’m most looking forward to the next book on Kinsley because I want to see how she finally handles her no good husband and finds her true happily ever after. I would definitely recommend this book as well as the rest of the series.

Zarah and Kane
Admittedly this was my first book from the series and with the main female character, Zarah, giving just enough context clues about all her siblings I didn't feel the need to go back and read their stories. This storyline held my attention and Zarah and Kane had some cute moments in addition to overcoming some drama with a crazy person. I loved how Zarah handled the situation with Kane's son's mom and the relationship she built with his son. In addition to that, I really felt the moment she shared with her father and then relaying his messages for her siblings, had me misty eyed. Overall this was a solid read but I don't think I am interested in these characters enough to read any more books in this particular series.

Kane My Kane 😩 He is everything plus more ! I’m so happy for Zarah ! She deserves real love with no conditions! I love how Zarah jumped right in to being there for Jamal momma 🥰 I can honestly see ahe is a girls girl and I love that for her ! Jamal omg he is just the sweetest young man ever! Byyyyyyrrrrrrrroooooooooooon can go to hell with his crazy ahh ! He is letting his insecurities run his life and thats crazy 😑 The kings family just make me wanna have my own family , love on them with my husband and build generational wealth because the dynamics is just beautiful 😍

Surrendering to love
Zarah and Kane were so cute. My girl was a spitfire and went out whatever she wanted. Kane recognized it immediately and refused to be a part of the circus. However, as fate would have it he couldn’t hold out too long. I was so happy when Zarah gave in fully—she deserved love. Jamell was the cutest and it was clear Kane and Bianca did right by him. I loved seeing the family dynamic they built. The messages from Daddy King were so sweet. I’m ready for Kinsley’s book..Andrew needs to be smacked

Kane & Zarah
This one is definitely my favorite so far. Kane and Zarah are such a dynamic duo. Kane has come a long way from his past and is striving to be the best entrepreneur he can be. I really admired the way he co-parents with his son's mother—they still respect each other even though they're no longer together. Zarah is a total boss—successful, assertive, and goes after what she wants. Their chemistry is undeniable. Kane is incredibly romantic, and Zarah is the ultimate ride-or-die partner. Kane's masculinity and Zarah's strength make them my favorite couple.

Sweet surrender
Ok I know I said book 3 was my favorite but I take that back lol. This probably is the best when you find love when you least expect it. It’s the you can’t judge a book it’s cover for me in this one. It’s so much to unpack with these siblings I loved Z for her independence and take charge attitude. I loved Kane’s patience. I can’t wait to see what Kinsley gonna do in her book next. Great job Iesha! I hope your family is proud of your portrayal of them.

This is probably my second favorite in the series behind the first book. I found this storyline to be a little more natural and flowed easily. It was easy to root for the characters and their romance and chemistry was good. I think this book had less spice than the first two books but is pretty equal with the 3rd. I really enjoyed the coparenting aspect of the MMC and how they balanced boundary setting with the romance of the book. This one I think was a bit more realistic than the previous book in the series so I was able to enjoy that a lot more.
I am excited to finish out the series in the next installment.

I love Zarah & Kane! At first I always wondered what was her dilemma but after losing the first man you ever loved & not have fully grieved I can see why she was shut off. I’m glad she met Kane & I’m glad he was able to continue to grow in the right direction with her! Little J is going to be the ladies man! I’ve been waiting to see what was up with my girl Kinsley & I’m soooo glad we’re approaching her! Great installment to an already great series!!!

So good!
With Zarah being the secretive King, I knew her story was going to be deep! Because of past experiences, she was not interested in committed relationships. Kane was exactly what she needed. Her giving the messages to her family from their father was very emotional. I cannot wait to see Kinsley boss up on Andrew! Between him and Byron, I don't know which one I hate the most.

TOOK ME THROUGH IT
This book took me through it in the best way! I love the cover♥️
I can relate to Zarah so much! After being hurt, it’s easy to feel like you need to stay a step ahead of these men folk, but that can be the very thing keeping you from REAL love.
The King family is everything! Perfectly imperfect. The love and loyalty can be felt with each page turned.
Side note: it’s always the small peen ex.s/flings wanting smoke🙄😂

As with the other books in this series, this one doesn’t disappoint. I loved the maturity between Zarah and Bianca, the messages from the Dad 🥹 and the way Kane loved his woman *chefs kiss *. I CANNOT WAIT until Kinsley’s book; I hope Andrew is going to get dragged!

A good read
Kings Surrender was fun, flirty and very entertaining. I liked this one a lot . Kane was everything, he ain’t take none of Zarah mess. I love that was also patient and understanding with her. Zarah definitely came with all the games. I loved that she wanted to shield herself but she also allowed herself to just be when it came to Kane.

still good
I loved this one like the previous ones. Zarah got her a real man and he did some real man things. Really loved the relationship Zarah formed with Kane’s son Jamall and Jamall’s mom. The King siblings are all interesting in their own way.
Zarah and Kane are a beautiful couple and their story is quite interesting.

Decided to jump back into this series. The cover confused me, had me thinking this was going to be a poly-romance.
I loved Kane and overall the FMC, although she had moments of getting on my nerves. But the story I’ve been interested in from the beginning is Kinsley’s. So maybe I’ll read it next.

Great read
Great read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Zarah and Kane’s attraction was instantaneous. However, he didn’t pursue her, because he sensed she liked games. She had baggage. Zarah and Kane journey to forever love is sweet and loving. I look forward to the next installment of the King Dynasty.

Kings Surrender
Iesha Bree has done it again. I truly enjoyed Kane and Zarah's love story. I knew Kane was going to come correct. I like how Zarah was their for Bri and there was no beef just two grown women who respected one another. I can't wait for Kinsley's story.

Good read with just enough drama to keep it interesting. Looking forward to Kinsleys book. Also wondering if we will learn more about Jayseon who has been mentioned periodically throughout the series.
