He found me again. And this time, he will never let me go…
Francis gave me two choices.
Return to his side, and he will leave the pack alone. Stay with them, and he will do everything in his power to make them suffer.
The choice was easy in the end…
At least no one else will have to get hurt this way.
Besides, it wouldn’t be my first time down this road—heartbreak has been a constant companion in my life.
But I know that Pack Snow will go on without me; Rian, Jeremy, Leo, and Troy will find their happiness again.
They already have everything they could need. In the end, I would have just become a burden.
I know how to survive being starved, and I will find a way to live through this sacrifice, too.
Sacrificed is a contemporary Omegaverse about a touch-starved Omega that will take you on an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. There is no choosing, and scenes of MM/ MMFM. Trigger warnings apply.

this was one of my most anticipated reads. dark ov is my favourite and comfort genre, so I knew this is something that I could’ve impatiently waited for.
I rate it a 3.5/5…I know, I know. that’s so low for an anticipated read 😭
I’ll start this off by saying that this book should’ve been longer. either longer or made into a trilogy. the pacing for the first 80% was good. there was plot and character development that kept me interested. but the last 20% was so rushed. it did set up the next duet wonderfully but the content with that 20% was not doing its due diligence to the characters.
ex) troy and belle were not given the necessary amount of page time to rekindle that spark and build a good relationship. it honesty didn’t need an insane about of grovelling but it did need that page time for them to reconnect and to show us why they’re soul mates and what about their bond superseded a bite bond mark.
ex) we definitely could’ve used a chapter of oliver and belle bonding as siblings again. it was so much build up that they deserved a chapter rekindling.
it only took me about an hour and a half to read this. I’m on the fence on if I’ll buy the physical books because the conclusion just didn’t hit like I expected it to.

I was kind of disappointed the story was ok it’s just after everything belle went through I wanted more. I wanted her to have more of a backbone when it came to what she deserved. I know the guys were trying to make up for the wrongs but seriously they tell her she can have the garage as her new nest when in the last book they made her go to garage and sit on a sad dirty cot and eat crackers while they had heat with their other omega?!? Like how is that a present like she deserved the best not the scraps especially after finding out she is Oliver’s lost long sister. Also I wanted more from that story all we heard about in the first and second books was about his lost sister and I felt like that was under played when they finally met. The book was decent I do appreciate how much Troy did grovel I didn’t really have much about Jermey he was kind of filler in this story. I also feel like she should have chosen Leo to bite her because through it all he trusted and loved her from the beginning.
Honestly more like a 2.5 than a 3 star for me, just like in the first book of this duet. Spoilers…Again…if Jeremy’s cousin openly has two omegas and they owe Jeremy, how did it take so long to ask them for help? Why is Gryphon torturing omegas? Even the Francis stuff is not explained well. I also don’t feel like there was enough groveling. Sure Troy made amends and felt bad but it didn’t feel satisfying emotionally. Idk. There are better omv books.
Something just didn't feel right. All of a sudden everyone was team Belle. It felt awkward and unnatural. Although I liked that Troy received a lot of flack, I felt like it was hypocritical of the other men as well. It wasn't like they treated her any better. I honestly don't believe any of them deserved Belle and all of them should've done some groveling.
I hated how they were going present Rian as their omega first. If they felt bad for Belle and wanted to present her as well, then they should've waited so both could be presented together. I also hated that they still kept things from her and treated her like she was weak. It was so different from how they treated Rian. It was like Belle wasn't an equal.
I also hated how she was given the garage as her nest. There was absolutely nothing sweet or romantic about that. Rian mentioned that the house didn't have a place big enough but it felt like Belle basically just got leftovers. Because Rian obviously got the nest room in the house.
I'm also confused about Jeremy. If his cousin told him the most obvious thing, then why in the world was he still so distrustful and guarded towards Belle. I felt like he was distant and never sensed that he truly liked her.
Overall, I didn't feel much depth in their relationship. They barely spent time together to know enough about each other. Oddly enough I think she had the most "developed" relationship with Troy but overall I wasn't satisfied the they story.
I honestly truly loved this book! It’s probably one of my favorite books I have read this year. When I read the first book I honestly wasn’t sure how this book would go, I was a bit hesitant and nervous to start it lol. But I will say I really loved the direction it went with the ending!
I was so happy to see our characters get the love they all deserve with that HEA. I will say in the first book I definitely wanted to punch one of the characters but I did feel a bit bad for him in this one. I just wanted them all to love each other lol.
I will say I am so glad the FMC found her brother although I do wish there was a little bit more interaction between them especially since they finally found each other again, but overall it was definitely one of my favorite books!
The spice? Very nice! I couldn’t get enough! Just enough to keep me on my toes!
Overall, I absolutely loved this book. If I could I would probably give this book a 6/5 rating. I throughly enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend!
Review Of: ~ Sacrificed (The Beta Trials #4) By Violet Fox
🍌Overall review out of 5: ⭐️ 🍋Page count: 221 🍊Chapter count: 37, +Pro 🍑Heat: 🔥🔥🔥 🍎Cliffhanger: No 🍉Can it be read as a stand-alone: Part of a duet 🍇Book type: Omegaverse, Reverse harem 🫐Main character/s: ~ Belle, O ~ Rian, O ~ Jeremy, A ~ Leo, A ~ Troy, A 🥝Relationship type: MMFMM, Already established pack 🍐M/M: Yes 🥭 Pregnancy mentions/in plot: No
The author wrapped up a few loose ends and gave a few more answers, but the overarching conflict and mystery remain. The characters definitely progressed in their personal growth, some taking longer than others, but they all got to a decent place in the end.
There was still some unnecessary repetition in the writing, but overall I felt like there was less in this book making it a far more enjoyable read. Although the characters did make some questionable choices that took me out of the story at times.
I’ll probably be picking up the next book as I’m curious what the new FMCs backstory is as she appeared in this book and I want to know how she fits the mysteries.
So the book Starved was so good. I literally read it in one day and was rushing to dive into he second part of Belle's story. Sacrificed seemed a little rushed imo. There were so many relationships to explore more that kinda got brushed over. Belle/Troy seems like there was so much more there but we have to just kinda be happy with the crumbs given. Belle/Oliver and the connection between their packs. So much left to be desired. But overall the book was a decent conclusion. I wonder if the author is so good in creating the storyline and plot for part one of these Omegas' stories and it all kinda gets away from her in part two for the conclusion? Either way, I enjoy her books overall and will continue to read this series The Beta Trials.
I pushed through on this one because I hate the idea of leaving a Duet unfinished unless it’s absolutely painful to read. I still stand by my statement on the first half of Belle’s story that it’s just a re-hash of Mila’s story (and frankly a weaker re-hash, at that).
I did find the second half to be a more compelling read than the first half, but if I could go back in time, I wouldn’t have bothered with Belle’s Duet, and I would have just stuck with Mila’s Duet. The writing was stronger, the premise was stronger, even the grammar and editing was more polished.

The plot of this series has enticed me to read this far, but every time I come back to the next book I’m reminded why I had to take a break from the series. The internal dialogue of the characters is just poorly written and difficult to follow. I feel like the story jumps past what could be great details for world building and make the story feel more rich. And maybe if the smut was steamier or more fun to read I could forgive the plot holes but it’s just not balancing out for me which is a shame cause the story concepts are good.
Wow this was a tad on the dark side only because Belle was weaponized. I couldn’t believe the missing sister of Oliver was alive and being trained by a weird bell and an even weirder beta. I was so glad she escaped and found herself with pack snow. Thought it was always smooth going thanks to Troy but as time went on Belle grew on him. I was so happy that she was reunited. I was kinda shocked that she might have ended Troy but didn’t . So glad that horrible little beta is gone. These beta trials are addicting can’t wait to read the rest!
This book felt like an afterthought. Like the author lost interest after she ended the last book with a cliffhanger.
This book dragged, felt largely like a rough draft that was rushed instead of a fleshed out book.
I haven’t been disappointed by a sequel quite so much in a long time. Dissatisfied in the long-lost relationship being rediscovered that we should have been shown. Annoyed at the way we continue to be told one of the MCs is undeserving or hasn’t earned forgiveness.
This book was very little show and a lot of half-assed tell.
meh? 2.5 stars. The first 2 books of the beta trials were really good and this just missed the bar. I feel like things weren’t completely flushed out towards the end (probably to lead up to book 5&6 but still).
This was a very fast paced exciting book in this series and it answered so many questions. I absolutely loved these characters and their storylines and how this author weaves them all together with characters from the whole series.
Belle continues her story, where she meets the Hart pack and finally Oliver. Troy stays on the outside for most of this story. I felt like the ending was a little to abrupt.
Finally! We get the conclusion to Belle's story and ita certainly worth the wait. A certain alphahole redeems himself spectacularly in this book. I loved it and can't wait for more.
Overall a good duet...feel like a moment between Troy and belle was missing that would change Troy's mind about her more but the small moments worked just seemed way to sudden for me...found writing better this book. First duet is still my favorite of the series.
However it was draggy and not too many action. Just focus on Troy being a garbage dumpster of hatred by his pack lol. But everything went great yeay >.<*|*
This was such a fun addition to the bet trials. This series is such an interesting take on Omegaverse dynamics and I love how they turned dynamic roles on their heads. Belle has endured so much, so to see her find her pack and extended family at the end was so rewarding. I wish we had gotten more time with Oliver and her. I’m excited to see what’s next.
