The disappearance of two of the women closest to the Kinseys leads to all-out war with the Prince family. As if that turmoil isn’t enough, the personal relationships of the Kinsey siblings are uncertain.
Briar Rose is reluctant to pursue a relationship with the cocky young ladies’ man, Tyrese Kinsey. Ty is determined to have the beautiful doctor and he’s used to getting what he wants. But just as Briar is about to give in to her desire, a young woman named Storm, who idolizes Ty, appears. She’s determined to make her hero her man, at any cost.
Tamir Kinsey is ready to settle down with Chantal Dubois and make a family with their baby. Chantal is leery, however, fearing that Tamir’s past infidelity may have resulted in a child. Dealing with Tamir’s former “side chick,” his increasingly intense reactions to being shot, and Chantal’s meddling family threaten to destroy the young couple’s future.
Tripp Kinsey is ready to officially make Cyn Murray and her daughter, Cynaa, his own. While they look with excitement toward their future, a problem from the past plots to end their dreams.

"Let me tell you a story"🤪

I had so much fun with this series. The Kinsey brothers were a mess, but for all their smarts, they were pretty stupid when it came to the women from their past! There were too many characters🤦🏾‍♀️, and not every character needed to be in a relationship, which made the main characters we started with in Book 1 take a back seat. We didn't get enough from them after book 1.
It's always Tremell, Tristan, Cyn, Shamar and Devyn for me!

4.5/5 ⭐️

Loved this. The ending wrapped up so well!! I still can’t stand Tre’s mean, non-emotional ass but he did have some character development. SPOILER ABOUT ONE OF THE TROUPES NEXT: I usually hate pregnancy troupe, like I will DNF a book for that but it actually worked really well in this series. I loved Cynaa and her relationship with Tripp is adorable. And the way she helped at the end omg I almost cried. Also the author highlights different body types and it’s nice to hear every kind of woman being loved and reassured. Tripp is 100000% my favorite but Ty is right up there with him. Tre is too mean and crazy for me, and Mir is just toxic.

Idk if I care enough about Tamar’s story to read her books but I might. Thank you kindle unlimited for always having banger books 🙂‍↕️ this single handedly cured my depression. A 6’5 man with locs and gold fronts gonna hate to see me coming if I find one.

GOOD SERIES

The Kinseys... Hard-core, bad to the bone, eliminating enemies by any means necessary and not feeling an ounce of remorse. They definitely have you questioning their mental stability, but you can't help but fall in love with these brothers. True ride or die, but what I liked most was them finding the right women to capture their hearts. They were a bit rough, but what do you expect when that's all they know how to be. I'm glad the ladies softened their hearts while they were still in protective mode. This series puts you through one hell of a ride with the drama and mayhem, but it's worth the read. These characters have grown on me, and I hate for it end. Looking forward to Tamar and Angel's story.

Lawd!!

This was a whole mess. Cyn sure knows how to pick them. I’m glad Tre got it together for Mouse. Him and his stories. The original Menace Caselli. And Tamir wanted me to bop him upside the head. Briar Rose need to get it together. I’m here for Tamar getting love.

Elle Kayson knows how to write an unhinged man and The Kinsleys are all that and more. The brothers reminded me of The Porters so if you like them you will enjoy this read.

The drama started in the first few pages and kept me engaged the whole series. I can't pick which brother is my favorite because I love them all.

I can't wait to figure out what happens between Tamar and Angel in the next book.

Ooh I was going to be so mad if it had ended differently! This was actually a good series. I really enjoyed it. I will say the crew needs to tighten up! How did yall get two snakes within yall’s organization and not know it! Or more so why was it so easy to flip them. Is Tremell really as scary as he says he is? Because I feel like that fear should have been enough. Especially when there was no bad blood or tension. Idk. I do know greed with get you. Lastly the word “damned” got on my damned nerves in this book. Lol

The following are all the thoughts I had while reading this book so it may contains some spoilers:

Hmmmm so Ced is the snake! Sheesh. I only hope Angel got Tamar.

Ok he does but he done pissed me off! “Do not ever turn your back to me in anger. It is disrespectful.” Why are the men allowed to be disrespectful but the women cannot. Man fuck you! You literally kidnapped me and drugged me!

Wait a minute! Is Dmitri have black? I can’t remember! He better be since he’s saying nigga! I don’t feel like redownloading books 1 & 2 to find out.

Damn Briar’s parents are making sure it works out with her and Tyrese! I feel like if I brought a man home my mama would be the same way. Be telling us to go ahead and pop out some babies. 🤣🤣🤣

“…You’ll be old and fat and Ty won’t want you.” Ok and bitch? What does that have to do with right now or you? That could very well be true so i’m going to enjoy my time with him now! You can have my leftovers then!

Honestly I think I would be ok with security being around after getting kidnapped. They usually blend in so I don’t see the problem.

How many times am I going to see “damned” on a single page?

This better NOT end on a damned 🤣 cliffhanger!

Damn yall got two snakes in your organization? What’s really going on? Smdh

“I can’t believe you tried to leave me for this thug…” *Russell Westbrook voice* What?! Bro what are you talking about, man? Bro i’m out man! 🤣🤣🤣

This series can’t end I need so much more!!!! Like get this on TV please. I was glued and didn’t move while reading this. Family and life be damned I set in my reading corner forever two days with this and have no regrets.

Dr. Rose was a great addition and I loved the way she fail in line with everything the Kinsey family had going on. Then for Ty to seriously stake his claim and was meeting her parents and them see nothing wrong with the age difference and or what he looked like. She not going no where.

I was so hurt by Ced. Even though he didn’t go through with it. Didn’t see that or Case coming. But damn them both. Both of them had me feeling like they were doing me wrong. Shay and Tremell having two babies and getting back to life was great to read. But again I’m not so sure with that Aoton. I feel like he will be a problem.

These old/side bitch wanna be chick love a come back and a damn show. That storm and Ced need to take that damn sad story on. Glad the shady bitch that was on Tremell knew she was done for it. But that fake baby momma of Mir’s she really needed help and u was glad Chantal got out of character for her but Mir needed to say that shit to her face in front of her little friends.

Angel and Tamar baby I knew it was going to be good. He didn’t care her brother could protect her but he played no games and kept her away like she really belonged to him. When I got to the end of the book I was glad to know they are up next. I have so many questions which is why this story can’t end.

I can’t for the life of me understand why Aaron was hell bent on Cyn when he didn’t even care for his baby for real. But then his family was lossing everyone and everything but for what. They had no more people in place most of the stash houses and people had been hit? I’m glad that baby was so smart and got them the help they needed.

3.25⭐️- Okay here’s my full review of this series. I really did like it it was fun to read I love a messy book 😭. The kinsey brothers are so unhinged but MY TYPE OF MEN🤭🤭. This book was extra spicy and insta love which is a given I think with urban romance. I did like how the author looked at PTSD with men especially in relation to g*ns but I wish it was dug into a bit more & not as a side plot. This book did make me giggle the whole time I felt like I was watching an episode of empire or something like it was so addictive to read.

I did love seeing all the couples but it felt a bit messy like it makes sense that every brother had someone but I wish it was separated more and made into individual books. I feel like too much was happening and I was getting confused on which relationship was the main focus. I feel like she should have done either each brother gets a book or had the two oldest only. That way the reader can connect equally with all the couples.

One thing that bugged me which may be a minor thing was how shamar wanted to travel for a year and that got stopped by tre like I love an unhinged man but I wish he cared about what she wants too. Her life got paused so much like what happened with her job and her dreams? It’s all about him. But other than that I did still have a blast with this series & would read about Tamar 🤭💕

No games were played.

The Kinseys literally do whatever it takes to right any wrong that happens against them, in anyway they see fit. I cant't believe the people that crossed them in this book, like y'all know how they get down and they still chose to play crazy.

The Shay we were introduced was not the Mouse we got in this book and I was not mad at it at ALL! I loved seeing my girl boss up and speak up. Her and Tre's relationship really evolved into something beautiful. I did miss Tavi a little bit in this book, I wanted to see how daddy life was treating him.

I honestly do not think a book or series has made me laugh out loud as much as this one did. I was cracking up at the entire book, these Kinsey brothers are a whole TRIP!

Right when I finished this book I found myself wanting a little bit more and I am so glad she gave it to us. Causeeee if this story would've ended like this I would've been crying throwing up lol! I'll definitely be reading the follow up series.

Ms. Kayson has a forever fan outta me cause the way I ate this series up is crazy! It pulled me out of my reading slump so that's saying a whole lot cause I was deep in.

FIRE 🔥 LOVE THE Kinsey clan

These book where everything Tre and Tripp I loved them I loved how Tre was what he was and they didn't make it like he was a tortured soul or something. I also loved how they didn't really make the women want to change them. But Shamar and Cyn they pushed stuff a lot like they could really fight a man these were not run of the mill men and they mouth and action sometimes had me want to say who you think you talking to? Shamar was making me mad a little playing in Tre face with Anton just cause he part of a mob family like he had to let her and him know I don't care who your family is I'll go to war behind mine and the more messed up part Shay only really saw Anton as a friend her heart and everything else really belonged to Tre. Great series!!!!

Family Is Every Thing

This book at it all, love, humor and jaw dropping revelations!!!…I was here for all of it too!!!…I was happy that aced made it out with is life, but I was so disappointed that as much trust as The Kinsey Family had in him, he didn’t trust them enough to tell them what was going on with him and his family!!!…
Alonzo and Aaron had to be the most 2 delusional ppl on this roller coaster ride!!!…
I loved the way these brothers stepped for their women and children!!!!…Daddy wasn’t a joke either!!!..
I wanted more of Angel and Tamar and I can’t wait to see what happens with them!!!…
I loved Blair’s Family!!!…
This book was sooooo good and written very well!!!…

Snakes snakes snakes all around. I’m so surprised at Cyn and how she let that girl get so close to her so fast. She seemed like the one that would sniff out BS with the quickness. Ty, why get mad when you hide all of you positives from the girl and she don’t want to deal with you because you’ve only shown her the negatives. Grow up babes! I pray Stormy stays far away with her weird junkie self. Tre is hilarious with the “let me tell you a story”. Elle has done it again and has me obsessed with fictional characters. I was so invested in all the story lines. That takes real skill. Some books when there are too many POVs, the ones I don’t like I skip their chapter or when they are mentioned. Kind of like Velveta Cheese in Before I Let Go.

I loved the characters in this series, and it left me looking forward to reading the books with Angel's story. This is definitely a series worth reading if you're looking for books that will keep you entertained, have you laughing out loud and keep you wanting more. I will say that I wish this book had an epilogue because the ending wasn't my favorite. I would have loved if the pregnant women in this series would have had their babies, and we would have gotten a glimpse of their futures with their kids, but even with that being said, overall, this was a great series and it's one I can read over and over.

No cliff hangers. Everything wrapped up nicely.

What I loved:
- Tre redeemed himself. He’s back to being bae
- He gotta lil completion with Angel
- Shay giving zero F’s! I’m here for it! Tre rubbed off on her in the best way!
- Family dynamics
- The way the ladies rode for each other
- The hermanos - Tre and Angel
- The phase that always makes me smile and laugh to myself while reading :”Let me tell you a story”

Elle is becoming a favorite. Her catalog is so much more than Demons Dream. I’m so sad to see Tre and Shay’s story come to an end, I really loved them! Looking forward to reading Tamar and Angels story.

When I say I loved these books I mean it! I read all three back to back while on vacation lol. I love all the brothers! Tremell the psycho but sweet one, Tripp the reasonable crash out, Tyy the hoe turned househusband and Mir the YN with something to prove 🥰. I loved how we got to hear all the stories see everybody’s growth from hard to soft as a marshmallow. My favorite brother was definitely Tremelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll 😍 he couldn’t tell me no stories buttt I’d definitely love to be a fly on the wall to one of ‘em 😂🤣! Overall, a very fast pace and greattttt excellent amazing book worth reading ✨✨ highly recommend

Well..

I have a NEW favorite author! Elle, you killed the one with this story of love, betrayal, and triumph! The Kinsey’s forever have my heart! That crazy ass oldest bro is throwed way off in the BEST way! Daddy Kinsey didn’t mind coming out of retirement either! I loved everything about this read and will be forever grateful for the chic in my FB reading group who recommended this series! Keep that pen pushing sis, you’re definitely a beast at penning the hell out of a story! I can’t wait to dive deep into the next read.!

Perfect ending and beginning

That was wrapped up in a nice little bow. Those Kinsey men really was out there in those streets delivering some dangerous beauty. I felt Amir’s anxiety with that whole Daria situation but glad it handled itself. Tripp wasn’t going to let Aaron get to far with his girls. Tre took to long to make it right with Mouse but I can’t wait for those updates. I need Ty to make it because we love us some Fairytale. This was a really good series but one glad we have more coming our way.

The entire series was great!

I really enjoyed the storytelling ability of Elle Kayson. She kept me throughly entertained and engaged with all the characters-because there were a LOT (lol). But each individual storyline was told so eloquently I didn’t feel like it was too overwhelming. Each sibling brought a different perspective and they all meshed well together. Spice as always was a 5/5. I’m sad this is the end of this series but I am looking forward to Tay and Angel’s story. I highly recommend

This series would take you on the most fast paced wildest ride ever. I swear the plot was amazing but the writing just wasn’t matching up at times. I hate to compare it to her other books but the writing compared to Demon’s Dream was a let down. Especially since this story was published after Demon’s Dream. I would’ve assumed the writing would be better. But I whole heartedly think it’s only because this story focused on so many couples so she couldn’t take the time to write as detailed of a story and pace it better. Overall I rate the whole series 3.75.

Wow… that was a lot..

I feel like this could have properly concluded in this book. Even though we’ve ridden through the complexity of all 5 siblings stories in the past 3 books, returning to the focus of the first book, there’s only really a resolution in this 3rd book for Tre and Tripp, and what resolution exists happens very abruptly and not at all in keeping with the rest of the plot. This felt slow in parts and rushed in others. But I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it and am not rushing to pick up whatever is next in the series.

It’s too much!

Idk if I’m coming or going because I swear these brothers can be so gullible behind females that ain’t their woman. Chantal should’ve throat punched Tamir after reading his messages. Tremell is still on my hit list. I’m just glad Shamar finally got a backbone. I love that Briar immediately called fraud and stood on business. Giving Ty no wiggle room to make mistakes. I cannot wait for Tamar and Angel’s story. Storm needs a psych hold.

Great Series 💜💜💜

Elle I am such a huge fan of your craft and this series wasn’t any different. Greed and jealousy will get you every time. Aaron was stupid, Alonzo and Chelle clearly didn’t think things through and Case was a bigger dummy. I’m glad Tre didn’t hurt Ced completely and he definitely needs to get a handle on his delusional daughter. All the couples are happy and children are healthy, while waiting in the others to arrive. Can’t wait to read about Tay and Angel.

got boring

DNF at 55%.
I really liked the first 2 books while there were minor things that I didn’t like such as using people’s first and middle names in damn near every conversation. I don’t know anyone in real life who calls people by their first and middle name’s. Keeping up with which brother was talking at times was difficult especially with them all having similar names and similar dialogues .

Love and War

Shamar and the baby being safe were my happy point. I need to know what Anton decided to do, kinda threw me how that was left open. I knew it was too good to be true with Aaron and he had something to do with his uncle business but I didn’t expect him and his cousins to be plotting like that. I wanted to know how they ended him. I feel like the ending was rushed and abrupt.

I Love Them Kinseys…

I can not explain how much I love these brothers…. It’s truly so hard to pick a favorite. Tre is bats**t crazy and boy was he a wild ride. Tristian I love him and Cyn real bad and I love how he would “Cyn Clarie” when she got outta line and I love Tristian loving on Lady Bug. Tyrese and Tamir I love them also. Imma miss them too much omg… I feel a reading slump coming on…

Elle Kayson has done it again. The Kinsey brothers are educated, intelligent, business owners and stone cold killers. They love their family and their partners and will do anything to keep them safe.
Tripp is my favorite. I love how he loves Cynaa and the banter between him and Cyn literally had me laughing out load. The banter between the brothers was hilarious as well.
Really enjoyed this book and how she wrapped everything up.
