²A parenting book written in 1998, waay when I was a kid.
The author begin his writing with challenges faced by the adolescents and what can the parents/community do to help them pass through this stage. Every chapter is filled with tips for parents to apply in dealing with the adolescents. I like how the author repetitively mention on parent's responsibility to fill the adolescents' emotional, physical, spiritual and social needs. Not everyone is lucky enough to receive these supports as they grow up and become adults.
The author also stress on secondary schools and adulthood phase, where some parents may opt for more relaxed and independent parenting. Although the points are based on 20 years back adolescents, they are pretty much applicable on today's situation.

Reading this is a great reflection as I notice what I may have lack and fill the void for my children. You can read this anytime. No need to wait for pre-teen years to start reading.

Ps. It's a bit dry by the way. I kinda struggle to finish this book.
