Everyone in the Rinaldi Mob has a job to do—a role to play—and newly appointed Mafian, Jisei Harper, is no exception.

As a matter of fact, Ezio Cuppacio doesn’t have an unattractive bone in his body. The rival mob, The Cuppacios, were perceived to be all wiped out by Don Demise. As the head, Ezio liked for the world to think his family was all in the dirt and took pride in keeping his head down and protecting and providing for his remaining bloodline. Money is good but it could be better, and when he is given the opportunity of a lifetime from his sworn enemy, he can’t help but agree.
Jisei, the humbled beauty, just knew life had gotten sweet for her, but when her brother forces her hand in marriage to a man who sees her as nothing but a means to help his people, she then realizes the Mob isn’t all shopping sprees and diamond cleaning. Bro.... I don't have anything nice to say about this book. Everything annoyed me but I kept reading thinking eventually id see a change. I didn't and it ended on a cliffhanger for no reason. Issa no for me. #dontdodrugskids

After completing the series I changed my rating. Book 1 is better than book 2 and there is a lot of fluff in both books. This series could’ve been one 200 page book.

whew!
Now that was good. I didn’t expect for it to end like that but now I’m sitting here looking for part 2 in the day time with a flashlight! The beginning did start off a little rocky bc I did not know that this was a spin off. It would have been helpful to have a note at the beginning explaining that, the prologue had me lost wondering if there was something I should have read first. That might be something the author should think on added in future spinoffs of any book just to lessen the confusion for some readers. After that, though, the book took off and kept me engaged from start to finish. Can’t wait for part 2

Can’t wait for part 2
As I write this review, I'm speechless, but I'm also mad 😡 that I must wait for part 2, lol. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and couldn't put it down. I will not give too much away from this book because you must read it yourself, but you won't be disappointed. You are going to be stressing for part two because I am. Overall, Lisa Austin did her thing as she always does.

Lisa Don’t Drop Nothing But 5🌟 Books
One thing Lisa gonna do is have my emotions all over the place Lawd… #EmotionalDamage Show my Ezio some grace though cause he been through some things and I will not accept nothing less 🤣. I hope Jae is okay though cause I feel like they will be great together now and willing to fight for each other and their newfound love. Don gonna flip his shhh though and I can’t wait. Shio 👀👀 I can’t wait to find out more. Chile let me go listen to Vivian Greene Emotional Rollercoaster cause that’s all I’m feeling… But can I just say Lisa is the one cause sis don’t play when it comes to these books and keeping you interested for the entire story.

Lisa!!!!! What in the world bro?! First things first, Jae was upsetting me. Really her and Ezee because I needed them to have that moment in the middle of the book. They all lolly-gagging and whatnot. I’m definitely trying to visit the Safari though lol. It’s her using his lingo for me 🥰 I told you already, but I’m definitely ready for Shio’s book. Idk though, with that ending, he might not get one 😩🫠 I know it’s going to be some slow singing and flower bringing in book 2 though.

I rated this book a 3 star because it did not get interesting until the end
Mannn this book has so much potential to be great but she talks about a lot of irrelevant stuff we did not get to see ezee and Jae bae as he like to call her develop they were barely in the same space the whole book and damn near had his phone number blocked the whole book I just feel like we got to know them as individuals in this book but even still it wasn’t enough I skipped some pages because she can describe the sensory for like two pages then on top of that she goes into detail about stuff we don’t care about I just wish we could have gotten more romance In this book but if it’s more like a back story but ik without a doubt book to gone be good because that cliffhanger baby I would say read to about 40% of the book and then skip to like 88% trust you ain’t missing nothing they barely have a story line together on this book I can’t wait to see what they do to Olivia on book 2 though so I’m headed there now

Unpopular opinion but not what I'm used to from Lisa Austin
I love me some Lisa Austin books but this was a struggle for me....giving 2.5 stars and rounding up. Where's the development of Ezio and Jisei's relationship? The have minimal interactions the whole book and go months without talking. He spent more time getting gawk than he did with Jisei and now they love each other? I'm hoping part 2 brings things together quickly.

Disappointed 😥 but had potential
I'm extremely disappointed because this book dragged on and on. They come together for a page then she block him then a few chapters in we do it all over again. At some point it was getting annoying. They didn't come together until the last chapter. I said it had potential because it was good writing, just a lot of unnecessary fuff. The last chapter was the best part, so now I have to see what happened to Jae bae. Ugh, here we go

Confused!!!!!
I don’t understand what I just read…I honestly only kept reading in disbelief..Page after page of unnecessary story..The two main characters and premise of the book were world apart..We’d already dealt with the backdrop of Jisei life in a previous book. The disconnect in this book was painful. And I normally enjoy most books by this author..

OMG!!
First of all, if you’re debating whether or not to read this, don’t! Read it NOW!! Second, Lisa!!! Sis, that ending had me in full on tears! Ezio (or however you spell his name) and my girl Jae Bae had me in a choke hold. Although this entire book was mostly about them, their story was just beginning and I don’t want my girl to go out bad like that! Ezio didn’t mean it! He’s gonna get it together but don’t take his Jae Bae!! This was one hell of a read and honestly, I’m scared to start part 2! I’m in mourning lol ..Anyways, like always, you didn’t disappoint with the Rinaldi+Cupaccio gang!

Jisei is a mafia princess , he is the Don of the Cuppacio family. They are getting married according to mafia law! The problem is they have to get to know each! Ezio is battling a pill addiction , Jisei hates anything to do with drugs! They love each other, but Ezio’s problem is he can’t control his addiction that will have them both 6 ft under! Can’t wait for part 2! A great read!

As always, Lisa never fails with giving us a story that has us gagging for more. I usually don't like to read books that touch on addiction but this story was so good!!! The rollercoaster of emotions that this books puts you through is a doozy. I'm so ready for part 2 because I just know my girl not going out like that. Jisei been my girl since PBAMFD and she deserves her happiness... Do her right Lisa!!!!

Awesome!
This book was awesome!!!!! I hope we don't have to wait to long for the other books to come out. I haven't read any of this author books in a very long time because of the long waiting time she takes when writing her books. And I even stopped following her on social media because of of that lol. But I definitely can't deny that she's a good writer. I loved all her Don books and hopefully I can continue to be patient lol

Ezio is the Worst!!!
Man, I 100% don’t like Ezio! The whole book was about him playing in Jeisei face. The disrespect was so blatant! I hate when authors do that. Ms. Austin spent the whole book pairing Ezio up with everyone else and then expect us to believe that there’s a genuine love connection between him and Jeisei. Make it make sense. It’s just too much of a stretch. He literally ignored her for a whole year. C’Mon man!

This book was toxic and good! Ezio definitely needs to be groveling in the next book for sure. There were some grammatical errors but not too much where the story lacked. The plot was also very good and I really enjoyed all the Cameo’s. I am hoping to get a Lorenzo cameo in the next book because him and Teo are my favs.
I definitely recommend! 💖

Ok look…..
This was a decent story. It got annoying though. The back and forth between the two MCs. The repetitive scenes that were literally the same conflict and conversations over and over again. A good 20 percent of this book could have been cut out. The thing that’s gonna bring me back is the cliffhanger. I knew that man’s habit and messing around with the waitress chick was gonna be an issue and his demise.
Smh.

Every time Ezio talked I wanted to fight him. If the book didn't end on a cliffhanger I wouldn't read the next one. Jisei has so much going for her and yet she's falling weak to a bum. I don't care how good someone looks, ain't no way I'm willingly sharing a man. I get Ezio is going to get better eventually but if he was real I wouldn't even let him blink at me.

I knew it was going to happen
