This is the second installment of the Rising saga which follows the lives of three daughters, known as the Daffodil girls, as they fall in love and marry the men in their lives.

3.5* Bk 3 of the Rising Family Quartet now moving on to the Rising Daughters known as the "Daffodil Girls" moving through WWI and into the Roaring 20s. Engaging characters, well plotted storyline and overall, a good romantic historical drama series. Had to carry on to the next book to see what happened to the characters and was sad to leave the Rising family behind when I finished the subsequent novels, it felt like saying goodbye to friends.
Second in the Rising sequence of novels. The Rising girls have grown up. Well-written, enough to keep me reading, but although the people seemed realistic I wasn't in sympathy with any of them. Thoughtful ending, but no insiration to read any more in the series.
