Falcon is Book 1 of The Kingsley Brothers of Bearclaw Ridge series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, slight age-gap, runaway bride, double virgin, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Iris is a young socialite who works in public relations and is set to be married. When she finds her fiancé cheating on her wedding day, she runs. Falcon is a hunky, outdoorsy mountain man who runs an outdoor adventure business with his brothers. When he finds Iris hiding in their company supply shed, he is instantly drawn to her. He takes her camping with him, and they grow close. What happens when they return? What will her parents say? Their chemistry was hot 🔥! We did have a little bit of drama but then got a very happy ending. I loved it and can't wait for Titan's book next!!!.

4.5 ⭐s The mountain man and the politician's daughter.
Iris is the odd duck in her family. She's always wondered if she was adopted or if her parents had accidentally been given the wrong baby when they left the hospital. Her sisters are only interested in their nails, status, and politics. Both her father and Joshua's father are influential politicians. They had arranged for the couple to meet. Plans are for Joshua to continue their dynasties.
As far as Iris is concerned, the wedding is off after she finds a naked woman in Joshua's room on their wedding day. And this was the man who wanted them to wait until after the wedding to sleep together. However, he wants to proceed with the wedding. He'll explain everything after they're married. After all, their marriage will be a perfect business transaction, and what will people say if they cancel on their wedding day? No wonder she became a runaway bride! And run, she did. That marathon training came in handy.
Falcon co-owns RidgeRoam Adventure Tours with his brothers Titan, Blaze, and Skyler. This weekend, he plans to begin scouting out a new beginner-friendly wilderness multi-day hiking trail. He wants to make sure the trail will be accessible and safe. He loves his job, which runs the gamut from beginning hiking to whitewater rafting and preparing people for hiking the Appalachian Trail.
He's about to leave for his hike when he finds Iris hiding behind a stack of kayaks. He's tempted to call the sheriff, but after she explains what happened, he does agree that the sheriff would probably take her back to her parents. He's shocked to hear that her parents would still want her to marry a cheater. To them, status and reputation are more important than their daughter. He decides to take her along with him on his scouting trip.
During their hike, Falcon learns about her job in PR and the impossible standards set by her parents, especially her mother. Not one family member has ever let Iris be herself. His mother may not be thrilled with the risky jobs her sons chose, but she realizes they are happy, so she's happy for them.
While crossing Bear Creek's swiftly flowing river, Iris almost falls into it. Falcon grabs her and discovers that not only doesn't he want to lose her, but he also wants to keep her by his side forever. She realizes that Falcon is the missing part she's always been seeking.
Her father has claimed she was kidnapped. Does he have enough power to have Falcon arrested, or does Iris know how to handle the situation?

We have had our sneak peaks at the Kingley brothers who have a little bit of small town sorta knows everyone. They found their calling in adventure tours and outdoorsing.
Falcon didn't expect to find his adventure hiding out back in a torn wedding dress. Iris didn't expect to find her fiance cheating mere hours before their wedding, but here she is. 10 miles away from her wedding venue having run from the confines of her family, and a wish to get herself together.
Falcon is such a sweet man. He isn't afraid to tell her like it is, but still trying to protect her at the same time. He is the quintencial Bearclaw Ridge heartthrob. These two go off for a night of adventure that lets them discover love came right to them by the way of fate. Iris isn't sure what draws her most to Falcon. He is sweet, and strong....and just a TAD on the smoking hot side.
You have a sweet yet spicy book here peeps. You get the sweetness of watching these two fall in love even after a day. Then you. get rewarded with plastic melting heat as these two give each other a precious gift, and LOTS of sweat...LOTS!!

Me Surpreendeu!
Geralmente eu não curto histórias com noivas em fuga (não gosto quando um dos protagonistas já está num relacionamento com outra pessoa), mas eu tinha lido o terceiro livro dessa série e tinha amado. Então, quando veio a oportunidade de ler essa história aqui, quase deixei passar, mas no final resolvi arriscar. E que bom que eu fiz isso, porque a história foi ótima! Iris e Falcon estavam mesmo destinados a se encontrarem e fiquei feliz por eles - principalmente por ela, que encontrou nele todo o apoio e acolhimento que sua família nunca lhe dera. Eu só esperava um pouco mais da cena do confronto dela com o pai, achei que foi muito pouco. Tinham mais verdades que precisavam ser ditas e algumas ainda ficaram entaladas aqui. Mas, no geral, foi uma história excelente. Muito mais que recomendada!

This is a fun, fast-paced, insta-love series with great characters including big, broad, mountain men who fall for the sassy, curvey women of their dreams. Falcon, one of the brothers and co-owners of Ridge Roam Adventure finds Iris hiding on his property. She ran from her cheating (now) ex-fiance in her wedding gown, even though her powerful family would insist she marry him anyway. Seriously?! (You go girl!) Will Falcon turn her in or help her hide out? How does her family react to her determination?

I loved Falcon Book 1 of The Kingsley Brothers of Bearclaw Ridge. Iris just caught her fiancé in a compromising position and since it was an arranged marriage, she ran. Falcon was surprised to find Iris behind his business but he isn’t complaining. They have a connection and when she tells him what she left behind he knows he wants to keep her. How will her powerful family react? I loved this short and sweet story, and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

Falcon is your newest mountain man obsession! With a kind heart and adventurous soul, he embarks on the hiking trip of a lifetime with his not quite fiancée Iris. This is a great short story. Falcon saves Iris after she runs away from her wedding when she finds her groom with another woman. They spend the night on the mountain after Falcon takes her scouting out a trail while she thinks what she wants to do. Their HEA is well-written and engaging.

Oh that was so lovely. A quick read too. Obviously I didn't like her family or the man she was supposed to marry (especially when he had sex with another woman on their wedding day). A good read. 5☆
