Unexpected heats, blizzards, and scent matches, oh my! It's ORA graduation day! Olivia is at the mixer hoping to meet her perfect pack because she knows her heat is fast approaching. However, everyone she talks to makes her less confident that she will find her mates before time runs out. Then, just as she's given up hope, the sole beta in attendance runs up to her, his pack chasing after him. Could it be? Is this the pack meant for her? There's only one way to find out, and not a moment too soon. Her heat has arrived.
**Author's Note** This was previously released in the 2023 Snowed In Anthology. It is a novella about a side character mentioned in Riley's Storm.
Hailing from eastern Pennsylvania, R.A. Alyse is a lover of books that feature spicy romance. Although she has a soft spot for why-choose and omegaverse, she has dabbled in a few other sub-genres within her writing. She strives to fill those books with love, spice, magic, and maybe even a knot or two.
R.A. Alyse enjoys searching out yard sales, going bowling or playing games with her kids, and reading in her free time. Her favorite color is purple (any shade!) and her favorite flower is a sunflower. If she isn't hunched over her keyboard, feverishly trying to get more books written, you will most likely find her hanging out with her family and their growing of number of pets.
I don't know why I thought I'd enjoy this. It was short and not really all that detailed. I'm starting to think the author may be a no go for me. It could of been so good, but it just fell short.
This pack is amazing, but I want more. I want to see exactly how protective they are. I want to see Olivia defend Boston. I want to see her stand up to someone trying to talk to her Alphas and Beta. But I NEEDED the scene we should have ended with, which is why i deducted a ½ star.
Cute, sweet, short. Great way to spend 30 minutes to an hour based on how fast you read. Give this one a chance, though if you aren't familiar with omegaverse, you may be a little lost since there isn't really time for much world-building in a 50 page book. The other books in the series do that if you start there, though.
The book was incredibly low-angst and a great stop gap between dark reads when it was almost my bedtime. I really hope the author writes more about this pack soon.
This was a fabulous short story! I won't lie I wish it was longer. Definitely read as a follow up to Riley's Storm. I hope to goodness the next book leads to another cause I love this series so much!
Snowed Inn Omega is a fast-paced omegaverse novella, about An Omega who goes to a social event in hopes of meeting her pack, but with a shortened timeline as her heat is fast approaching, unlike most omegas who have months to find their perfect pack.
Lucky for our little omega, Olivia, before the end of the night she meets a pack that may just be what she's been looking for, but with the heavy weather, and her heat looming close by, the pack and Olivia may get more than they realized at first greeting.
I enjoyed reading this story, though I was a little confused by some things, the were quickly cleared up. Main one being one of the Alphas, is a Female. So the pack consists of 1 Female Alpha, 1 Male Alpha, 1 Male Beta ( Both Alphas are with the Beta but the alphas do not do each other.) and then add in our little omega female. I don't know if I just missed them mentioning CJ was a female, but I can only remember Her being mentioned as CJ and Alpha (Not that I mind a Female Alpha, gender is w/e in my eyes.) But in one part of the book she is being mocked for lacking male anatomy, but because I missed her being female, i was totally lost for the whole interaction, to the point I thought the person was suggesting that CJ was another omega, which really messed up the story in my head for a short time, i had to read a chapter before gaining clarity. Again, I might have just missed it, I sometimes miss things my first read through, which is why I always re-read books <3
Definitely worth a read, especially if you enjoy omegaverse books, as this one is full of all the omegaverse goodies. Omegas, Alphas, Beta, Knotting, Nesting, Packs and Soulmates <3
✔️MMFF why choose sweet omegaverse ✔️novella ✔️snowed in ✔️first heat ✔️scent matches ✔️female alpha, male alpha, male beta (these three are an established pack prior to the events of the story), female omega
This is a short and spicy sweet omegaverse novella, and it is a nice quick palate cleanser. Honestly I have read better in this genre but I didn’t dislike it. Keep in mind that this is a VERY short novella, and manage your expectations accordingly, there aren’t enough pages to really get to know two main characters let alone four. We see the omega meeting her scent matched pack, a very quick conversation that leads to them having to get a room in an inn because they get lost in a snow storm, and brief scenes of her heat. The ending is disappointing, I would rather have seen the bonding rather than be told that it is going to happen.
Not the best, not the worst, love the representation and seeing a female alpha that isn’t just a side character.
This is a fun little omegaverse novella. Olivia is about to go into her first Heat when she meets her scent matches. They end up snowed in together which kicks off her heat.
I loved that this story was mmff. They alphas are not romantically together, but both alphas are with the beta and omega.
The only aspect I didnt like was that Pierce knotted the beta while Olivia was in heat. CJ made due with her ✊️ which was hot, but it felt like poor planning. They have 1 knot in the bunch and the omega in heat should take top priority. I didnt like her panic when she didnt have a knot.
This novella was pretty much all spice and very little plot. If that’s what you are looking for then this is the book for you! Honestly, it felt a bit contrived, and didn’t flow as naturally as it could have. There could also have been more character development—it definitely had potential for more. It’s a quick, spicy read, plain and simple.
I’d give it 4/5 for spice because again, not a lot of plot, mostly heat.
Snowed Inn Omega, book 4 of the Choose Me Omegaverse series by R.A. Alyse. @ra.alyse.author is a new author for me.
This was such a good novella about Olivia, Boston, CJ & Pierce! Tropes: Contemporary, Omegaverse, Why Choose, Novella, Fated Mates, Female Omega, Male Beta, Female & Male Alphas, Forces Proximity, Early Onset Heat & HEA!
This was just a fun, short novella. The writing is decent enough, the plot was simplistic, and the characters weren’t very developed. But it was clearly written to be a short, smutty winter novella, and it fills that function. It’d give this 3 stars. It was just average.
This is a spicy omegaverse novella, so it may not be for all readers.
That was so adorable! I loved it. I went in blind so I was completely thrown for a minute that CJ was a girl 😅 but it didn't change anything. It was neat having a female alpha!
This is a great short story for Olivia, friends with Storm and Riley from Riley's Storm, the first book in this series. Follow Olivia's short steamy adventure of meeting her pack at the ORA end of school dance. 😁🔥🔥
Totally just here to meet my Goodreads goal. But also... so sweet and now I want to read the others to find out what exactly happened to the friends she mentioned in the first chapter.
After quite a bit of consideration I decided to pick this book up again to finish it. When I originally DNF'd this book there was no content indicators regarding the dynamic of the pack, and now after having seen this novel pop up again I noticed that the labeling had been added to the description. I appreciate things like that from authors, where they see feedback and work with it. It is for that reason alone that I decided to come back and finish this book. That being said, I'm not changing my original rating because it quite honestly didn't wow me. There wasn't really a connection between the characters, the steamy scenes were very rushed or just kind of weird (like why are you fucking each other while your omega is asleep during her heat?), and I just wish that there was more development to make it more believable that they actually wanted each other.

Honestly nothing wrong with the small amount that I did read, but I'm giving it 1 star because I didn't realize that it was an MMFF story. From what I read Olivia and CJ both share the same anatomy, while Boston and Pierce share the same anatomy. To begin with I didn't realize that CJ had female anatomy, like at one point it was mentioned that they took on a matriarchal stance within the pack, but that could just imply that they were nurturing and gentle rather than a sex thing... so paired with a neutral abbreviated name like 'CJ' I wasn't really expecting that they had the same anatomy as Olivia.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that relationship style, but it's just not for me personally, and I would have liked if it had been stated in the book description so that I could have made a more educated decision on whether or not to start reading it.
Cheers though! Love seeing queer representation even if it isn't something I personally read, the representation is still important to normalize very valid relationships.
I really wanted to love Snowed Inn Omega, but it just didn’t work for me. The book was incredibly short, and while I don’t mind a fast-paced story, this one moved so quickly that I never really felt a strong connection between the characters. Their relationship felt rushed, and I didn’t get the depth or emotional build-up I was hoping for. That being said, it did help me get out of a book slump, so I appreciate it for that—but overall, it just wasn’t what I expected. If you’re looking for a quick read with minimal development, this might work for you, but it wasn’t for me.
This short and steamy novella from R.A. Alyse is a perfect meet / cute story for the FMC, Olivia. Knowing what she wants and only finding it at the last opportunity leads to a heat that is both demanding and fulfilling. Part of the Choose Me Omegaverse, this book is a highly charged page turner that I devoured and did not put down.
