All’s fair in love and war… when a Reaper comes knocking on your door.
When Soul Collector Toby James met Eleanor Van Ruysdael, his second chance, his world, and his heart were thrown into chaos. He fell hard and fast, forsaking his unearthly responsibilities and laying it all on the line for the girl who showed him that only the strongest people risk their lives for the ones they love.
After months of turmoil, Ever and Toby are finally in a good place. Well, they were. But then she made a deal to save him and all Hell broke loose.
Literally.
And, as usual, fate has other plans for Ever and Toby. In this epic third and final installment of The Ever Trilogy, both souls are on the line, and it’s a race against time to see if they can save themselves, the ones they love—and each other.
Jessa Russo believes in fairytales, ghosts, and Jake Ryan—she’s pretty sure her heart has never fully belonged to anyone else (apologies, Mr. Russo). When not writing, she can be found watching far too much Netflix, drinking craft beer with her friends, or enjoying a nice Sunday brunch (even if it’s not Sunday). Her young adult projects span the genre field, but will always have a lot of kissing and (probably) a little heartbreak. Isn't that what falling in love as a teen is all about?

This is a book YEARS in the making, the last in the series that brought Jessa and I together, and it didn't disappoint! YA paranormal is something that is near and dear to my heart, and Jessa Russo's EVER series nails exactly the things I love about the genre. Snappy dialogue, cute banter, lots of action, characters I want to hang out with, and SO MUCH HEART! The pages glow with the love she put into this world, and as sad as I am to say goodbye to these characters, she's given them a satisfying story and left them in a good place.

Unless it wasn't already obvious, I did not like this book, or this series, in the slightest. I thought maybe I'd take a chance and try a different genre mixed in with what I usually go with and was very disappointed in the whole thing.
Honestly, I kind of skimmed my way through this last book. I mean Toby and Ever being in the same head was giving me "Host" vibes and was kind of hard to follow along with anyway because of how it was written. There wasn't a clear distinction as to who was speaking when, even if I could kind of figure it out anyway, but it was hard to get into the story because of that. Also all this Reaper business? Annoying and boring.
I don't really have much else to say. I mean, it just wasn't hitting for me and now I'm left with some time of my life wasted after reading this series. Oh well.

A really fantastic trilogy. So captivating with characters you really love. I would have liked a longer epilogue, to find out more about a few things. Four stars for this book as there are a few small loose ends I would have liked to have had resolved.
Ever worked my nerves on another level but I had to remind myself she is a child. Thinks like a child and surely acts like one. So what should I expect.
Over all the book serious was just OK for me. Ever just ruined it for me.
The last part was my favourite! So many things could have happened with how it was written it just kept you guessing. I have to say Ariadne was a well written character. I really disliked her. She was so irritating! Well done Jessa. I really enjoyed this series.
After a promising second book... That was so disappointing. Nothing happened and when anything did happen it was quickly summed up and swept under the rug.
Jessa I've enjoyed your ever series from the very first novel to the last. You've kept me wanting to read more with each turn of the pages. A must read trilogy.
