A good time

This was my first read by Chelly P and I’m not mad at all. Honor and Aster story was filled with A LOT of drama and the way it all came together was amazing. I loved that I knew all the streets and freeways mentioned in the book, nothing like a good LA vibes.

Let me jyst say, there's no way in this world you can convince me to bring another in our relationship nor in our home. A true disaster waiting to happen.

Why can't a man think with the brain he was born with instead of his private part that gets him in trouble every time.

Just can't be satisfied with loving the person that loves you from the depths of their soul.

When it comes to your children, most mothers does what it takes to protect them. Aster made the best choice for herself.

I'm happy everyone got their Karma and Aster got the love and family deserved.

Excellent read

This read was so good. It wasn't what I thought it would be. It was even better. So many people shy away from plus size women. Yet there is so many that will not be with anyone else. It's always to each its own. This was a great story and the characters were very exciting. I highly recommend this read. It will not disappoint. Enjoy

I always had his heart

This book was good and held !y attention from the first page. First let me say that Amber was something else. I love Aster and I understand why she did what she did. Honor was something else but I'm glad he fixed his wrong.

I loved Honor and the crew so much! I'm going to read all of them now because I feel like I started in the middle, but it's not hard to piece it together thanks to this marvelous storytelling! 🎉

It was so good

I hope Orion's story is next. I just know him and Gorgeous would make the cutest couple. Plus I remember how them little girls played in her face. So I hope she gets some type of get back.

Yeeesss!

Honor got on my nerves. Boy, you disregarded her feelings before and still got Amber behind still around. I wouldn't have told you either. Loved the kids!!!!! Aster was a great mom. I liked the way it ended with Amber reaping what she sow.

Always Have his 💜

Good read! I enjoyed the plot. I like that we meet them after the ill fated poly experiment! Aster was damn near perfect. Honor is lucky 🍀 that he gets a minutiae of a second chance!

4.5 ⭐

The synopsis says "Have you ever been so in love that you agreed to do something that you weren’t really happy with?"
My answer, yes I mean you live and learn. However! I have yet to agree to what Aster agreed to because of her love for Honor.

Amber and Red are some low down, dirty self people and I do not feel bad for them. At all. This story for the most part was a mystery to me because little hints were dropped, but I wanted to backstory and yet the story moved onto something else. Listen, give me the whole enchilada. I need the drama and the backstory. When everything was revealed, I thought "wow that's so tragic but my star rating has increased." Lastly, I cried with the marriage proposal.

Emotional Rollercoaster From Start To Finish

This book had me going through it. 🤯 Mind blown and invested from chapter 1. Chelly P knows how to do drama and messy. I felt all kinds of ways while reading this book. One moment I was pulling for the main characters and the next I wanted to reach through the book and give them some hands on act right encouragement. It was fun to see her characters from Take A Chance On Me again and peep in a quick minute on how they are all doing as well. I still don't know how Chelly P fits so much story in under 200 pages but I'm calling her a Queen 👑 at this.

Honor & Aster

This story was really cute and I'm glad Honor got his act together.

However, for much of the beginning of the story I felt like I was thrown in the middle of a book and didn't really know what was going on. It did get better and less confusing but I would have loved if this was a 2 part story and the background story could have been in a separate book.

But, overall, this was a beautiful story of forgiveness, finding your worth, and realizing what's right in front of you.

I don't usually like books that just jump right into the story as soon as I open it, but this book was entertaining. I especially liked the parents of Honor. There is nothing like parents who will hold their kids accountable and not bite their tongue especially with their adult children. Amber was batsh!+ crazy and selfish but of course each book has to have a crazy character for a little razzle dazzle. And she surely lived up to that. I'm glad things turned out the way they did in the end for Honor and Aster because all kids deserve both parents.

Three the hard way

Honor was a whole mess with wanting his cake and eating it too.

This was a great read. I was torn on Aster actually forgiving this man for his dumb decisions but what a well written story to just pull you in like these folks are real.

Great catch up with the family. The supporting casts just make the book. Still waiting on Orion and Gorgeous to grow up and get their story.

Okay read

First book by this author. I could have used less cursing and use of the B word. More so on Aster and Honors relationship before Aster disappeared. How did the son know that was his dad in the store? Did Aster show them pictures, going more into the seizure aspect because it doesn't suddenly stop as the book says, why was the baby not on medicine, things like that. More information on certain topics in the book. I finished it.

Spinning the Block

This is my first book by this author. Let me say that I'm impressed. The book was quick read and it was interesting nonetheless. I thought Aster was a strong woman, because when Honor came to her with his proposal, me personally I would have left then. A lesson in life, is cherish what you already have. And remember The outsiders are always plotting. I would recommend this book.

So the story was ok. Sorry but I don’t want a man like Honor. Some parts of the story had me confused. Like did Aster have a job?? Other parts that had me confused I won’t get into so I don’t spoil it for you. I liked Take A Chance On Me better. I definitely wanted Wise to get at Amber!! Amber was lucky Wise couldn’t fight her. I wouldn’t mind an Orion and Gorgeous story. There were several grammar errors I noticed in the book, but not too many to fuss about.

Good

A good read with the drama, secrets, lies and deceit that I love reading about. These characters have been through some things. All of the drama was because a man wanted to be greedy. That greed almost cost him his life and did cost him the women he really loved for a while. I definitely enjoyed this read.

D he first book but his story was a roller coaster…Honor wanted to have cake & pie but what in got in Amber was mud pie seasoned with shiesty I totally understood Amber trying to keep her man by giving in but like his momma said don’t loose yourself trying to love him…now on to Anita and Wise

Nope!

Didn't like this story or the characters Aster and Honor were thee worst. Especially Honor, he was a complete entitled douche bag. The story didn't have a good flow or any redeeming qualities or character development. So sick of the weak female storylines smh.

Pretty good.

This was a pretty good read. But I was kind of thrown off by Aster. She was a too docile for me. She just gave in to everything too fast.
From excepting a poly relationship that she didn't want. To just taking Honor back.
