DISCLAIMER - This is a short story based on actual events. The names have been changed to protect me. Any similarity to persons living or dead is not coincidence - I just hope they don't figure it out.

Randy Hazelton and Timothy Wade have never met, but, on Saturday, June 7, they most certainly will. You see, they share something very much in common. Both men, swept up in the throes of passion, made decisions that they have since come to regret.

After shooting the best 9 holes of golf in his life, Randy decides to put it all on the line in a high stakes match. On the other hand, Timothy has found the love of his life and decides to put it all on the line for love.

Can they avoid a fait accompli? Will Fate intervene? For their sake, I hope so.

About the author

I was born and raised just west of Indianapolis. I grew up playing sports and creating make-believe worlds in my backyard.

At age 11, I played my first round of golf and I dreamed of becoming a professional golfer, and that sort of came true.

I went to college in Ohio and then studied graduate level theology for a year in Texas. In Texas I fell in love with writing and storytelling.

I hope all of my stories challenge and excite my readers, but most of all I hope they give them a glimpse of hope.
