First I want to say thank you to Nancy Lee Badger that she gave me the chance to read and review for free! I won a free copy personally signed on Goodreads.

Now what I thought about Dragon Bites, I thought that this book was going to be very different from what it was. The dialog and narration was confusing at times since there was no clarity as to who was speaking. Settings would change so fast and it made it very hard to keep up with all the story.

DRAGON’S CURSE stated that in the give away that it was "set on the Scottish island of Staffa in the late 16th century, features a young man cursed to transform into dragon at inopportune times and the woman he protects." This was not really the feel of this short story I was expecting a cool dragon story. This story was less dragons and more a old fashioned romance story with little bits of paranormal things thrown in to try to make it more modern. They added a witch that also was a ghost and then there was a dragon but it was not that descriptive and he didn't do anything really cool. The dialog was confusing at times. This book is also sexually explicit.

SOUTHERN FRIED DRAGON stated this in its description for the giveaway "pairs a Scottish dragon-turned woman and a federal soldier at Ft. Sumter on the eve of Civil War." This story I just lost interest in very fast, and did not really interest me.

...

DRAGON IN THE MIST stated that it was contemporary love story on the shores of Loch Ness, which is a short story that won 1st Place in its category in the 2012 Self-Published Stars Contest. I liked this story better then the others, but again this is not what I thought the book was going to be. If you are looking for a romance novel with a little bit of paranormal elements you will enjoy this. I just like more Science Fiction books.

I tried to read this book but could not get into the style of writing. I also felt like the cover was very misleading as to what kind of book this is, it is mostly an old fashioned historical romance short stories put into one book.

A tip-top collection of novellas... Three stories that were sharp, creative, detailed, and had magic about them that really takes a reader away. Writing style is excellent, author skilled. My only reservation developed regarding the sexual explicitness I hadn’t expected and do not fancy.
