My rating was solely for Nate. 😂🥹😍
Four years ago, Nate (38) saw Harper (28) sitting alone in a bar, but he didn't approach her because she was young. Apparently his best friend didn't have the same concern, and that's how their relationship started. Like Nate said in his POV: "So, even though I saw her first, he was the one who spoke to her first. And that made all the difference."
In the present time, Harper secretly applied for a paid junior traineeship in an art gallery in London months ago. She didn't expect anything from this application, but was surprised to get a call and be offered the role. Then, as the wedding date comes closer, she has been getting panic attacks every night at the thought of marrying Dean. So knowing this is a sign that she's about to make a mistake, she ended their engagement, packed up, and went to London to have a fresh start. It wasn't told how long they'd been broken up, only that it had been a few months.🤷♀️
Her decision felt abrupt to everyone, and they were angry at her, mostly from the Dean's side, and her parents didn't understand why she did that. The thing is, she never explained her reasons to anyone, only to Dean, but he didn't listen to her or even try to see where she's coming from. 🤦♀️ Imo, it was kind of immature to walk away like that without telling her side, even to her parents, but then again maybe she's not yet ready to face the music. 🤷♀️
Then Nate found out they broke up because Dean called him and told him that Harper went to London. He asked him to look out after her. He didn't promise anything to him, but he felt relieved and guilty about that news. So he went to the art gallery to check up on her and see how she's doing. They talked and agreed not to discuss anything Dean related, and they agreed to still be friends. But of course, Nate wants more than that, secretly hoping this will be his chance. 🫣 After all, he's been pining for her since the day he saw her and has been having unrequited love for the last four years. 😭💔
With her sudden departure to London, Harper accepted temporary housing that probably had seen better days. Nate saw her living arrangements and told her to stay with him in the meantime. She protested, but she also knew he was right, so she initially agreed to stay for a week but that changed and turned into months, as the story goes. 😏
While I know Harper wanted to be independent and show she could be successful, her jumping into the same situation with Nate didn't help at all to show the independence she was aiming for.
See, she had been living with Dean for the last three years; it's his apartment, his money, and him providing basically everything for her that made her lose agency. He's been holding these things over her head and making her feel that she owes him for everything he has done for her. And this very same setup is the one she's having with Nate as well; she's living with him, and it's him taking care of all her needs. I know he wouldn't use this help against Harper because he really wants to do it anyway.
But how is this having independence for Harper? She has the same situation; the only difference is that Nate is a freaking good guy while Dean isn't. Sure, Nate allows her to cook and buy some groceries, but I think that's the only thing she's spending money on. 🤔
My point is that there's nothing much different about her living situation with Dean and now with Nate. Living with a well-off man and basically getting your needs met all the time.
I think the only huge difference is that Nate appreciates everything she does. He supports her job and dreams and never makes her feel lower than him. This man would drop everything for her in a heartbeat and will never regret doing that. The love that he has for her is E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! Is it difficult to ask for someone like him, irl? 👉🥹👈
To be honest, I could care less about Harper. She's so-so as a character, even though she's the heroine in this story. I think Nate carried this whole book, and he's the only good thing that made this enjoyable for me. The pining, dedication, support, care, and love this guy has for Harper is unparalleled. He's a walking green flag, and I'm here for all of the selfless and thoughtful things he does for the people he cares about. 🥰
Anyway, as for the romance, it was a slow buildup, for sure. Ngl, I struggled to get through the first 50% of the book. It's nothing bad, actually; it's just that nothing much was happening in the story. It was all about the mundane things they do together and the friendship they're slowly establishing. 🤷♀️ But things eventually pick up in the second half.
This is a sloooowburn; they did get frisky, but the actual deed happened around the 72% mark. And there are only a few spicy scenes, which, for some reason, worked well with me. But make no mistake, even if there are three or four (???) scenes, these are delivered soooo well. 🥵🌶️ These two were good and hot together, ngl about that.
This is already a long review, so I'm going to cut it at this point. Overall, I enjoyed it and had fun reading it. And I think this is my favorite in this series, and Nate is just everything. 💖

Desde que Nate miró a Harper hace cuatro años en un bar se enamoró, pero su mejor amigo hizo el movimiento primero y desde ese día ha sufrido y suspirado por ella en silencio, viéndola hacer su vida con otro, hasta que ella rompe con él y se va a Londres, la ciudad en la que el reside actualmente y ahora está soltera y en la misma ciudad que él.
Harper ha roto con su novio y cancelando la boda y el compromiso con el echándose a todo mundo encima, ella ya no se sentía ella misma cada día que pasaba se estaba perdiendo, sus sueños y anhelos estaban en segundo plano, el amor ya no era suficiente por lo que decide tomar una pasantía en un museo en Londres algo que ella quería hacer hace mucho tiempo y los postergo y durante su estancia escribe una lista de cosas que quiere hacer antes de los 30.
Nate y ella se encuentran y debido a las condiciones de su vivienda se va vivir con el cómo compañeros de piso y ve por accidente su lista y decide ayudarla a cumplir cada uno de los puntos.

Todas las cosas que hizo por ella era para que fuera feliz, la llevó a Paris porque era uno de los sitios que ella quería ir, se convirtió en su mejor amigo a pesar de que él quería más, estuvo apoyándola, consintiéndola y sobre todo a ser ella misma.
Todos los cuadros que compró eran consejos y recomendaciones de ella a través de los años, cuando le hablaba de sus artistas favoritos.
Me gustó mucho esta pareja porque son tan bonitos y lindos.
El spice estuvo 10/10
Ame que al final fueran felices y se amaran porque se lo merecían, maldito Dean envidioso que, si no fuera por él, hubieran sido felices desde antes.
No leí el segundo libro, pero el primero me gustó mucho también, así que voy a tener en cuenta a la autora para futuras lecturas.

Loved this, to think I almost skipped it because the last one of hers I read was a bit of a dud, this was much more my thing, a slow burn with forced proximity and some gloriously hot smut. Complete story but part of a series can be read as a standalone, available on ku. Recommended.

A Nate le gustaba ella desde que la vio, pero su mejor amigo se le adelantó y empezó a salir con ella. Pasaron cuatro años en los que tuvo que ver cómo su mejor amigo salía con la chica que le gustaba y ahora ellos están separados.
Harper en secreto había solicitado una pasantía en Londres en una galería, pero se acercaba la fecha de la boda y cada vez tenía más ataques de pánico poniendo en duda si debería casarse con Dean. Así que decidió terminar el compromiso e irse a Londres, lo cual en esos meses se encontró con Nate, quien era el mejor amigo de su ex.
La mayoría no entendió por qué se fue así como si nada y estaban enojados porque canceló el compromiso de una forma inesperada.
Amo la forma de escribir de la autora y me considero una gran fanática de sus personajes porque a cada uno de ellos le da un desarrollo muy bueno. De alguna u otra forma, en esta serie, Olivia dio un cierre espléndido y me siento encantada con este último libro.
Una de las cosas que amo de Olivia es que ella escribe hombres tan encantadores porque a Nate no le importaba si lo consideraba un amigo, Harper, porque él se iba a esforzar de cualquier manera para hacerla lo más feliz posible. No se imaginan lo que este hombre causó en mí y Harper es tan encantadora que se convirtió en una de mis protagonistas favoritas.
La forma en que ellos se ayudaron mutuamente con sus inseguridades fue algo que me dejó chillando porque, a pesar de que tenían problemas, no fue un obstáculo para que Harper pudiera reencontrarse así misma y darse cuenta de que lo ama, al igual que él. La forma en la que él se dio cuenta de que solo quería pasar tiempo con una mujer y quería que fuera su esposa me hizo chillar.
Al inicio me sentía muy triste por los pensamientos que tenía Nate, pero después fue progresando. Puedo decir que este libro es simplemente adictivo y encantador de cualquier forma.
Los amé muchísimo como no tienen idea.

Sabía que Nate iba a ser mi favorito. Qué hombre, Dios. La tensión entre los protagonistas es fuego (gracias romance prohibido por existir), y amo leer hombres tan enamorados que no tienen miedo de demostrar sus sentimientos. Me gustó ver crecer a la protagonista y volverse cada vez más independiente.
Voy a extrañar a todos los personajes de esta trilogía, me encariñé mucho con todos.

EL MEJOR LIBRO DE LA SERIE
No voy a contar de que va la historia por que tenemos el blurb, así que aquí vienen mis pensamientos....

Hablemos de Harper, me sentí demasiado identificada con ella y el dilema que tenía cuando estaba comprometida, admiración total para ella y esa decisión de terminar su compromiso por que quería seguir sus sueños, muchas veces es dificil y hay mucho temor en tomar una decisión, pero ella no solo fue por ello, sino que también lo hizo con todas las ganas y eso le trajó solo cosas buenas!
La relación entre ambos es de lo más linda, amé el apoyo que se dieron el uno al otro, me ponía triste ver que Nate aun sentía culpa, pero amé que a pesar de ello ambos decidieran ir por lo que querían ❤️
Esta historia lo tiene todo, buena trama, un buen desarrollo en los personajes y su relación, CAMEOS DE LIBROS ANTERIORES!!! un drama que no es exagerado y que es totalmente real, Olivia simplemente se levantó un día y dijo "Voy a escribir una historia perfecta"
De verdad, tienen que leer este libro YA!

Hablemos de Harper, me sentí demasiado identificada con ella y el dilema que tenía cuando estaba comprometida, admiración total para ella y esa decisión de terminar su compromiso por que quería seguir sus sueños, muchas veces es dificil y hay mucho temor en tomar una decisión, pero ella no solo fue por ello, sino que también lo hizo con todas las ganas y eso le trajó solo cosas buenas!
La relación entre ambos es de lo más linda, amé el apoyo que se dieron el uno al otro, me ponía triste ver que Nate aun sentía culpa, pero amé que a pesar de ello ambos decidieran ir por lo que querían ❤️
Esta historia lo tiene todo, buena trama, un buen desarrollo en los personajes y su relación, CAMEOS DE LIBROS ANTERIORES!!! un drama que no es exagerado y que es totalmente real, Olivia simplemente se levantó un día y dijo "Voy a escribir una historia perfecta"
De verdad, tienen que leer este libro YA!

Creo que no fue mi libro 😞
Después de darle a su vida un gran cambio Harper decide mudarse a Londres después de romper su compromiso y dejar todo atrás, ella quiere cumplir sus sueños y está dispuesta a todo para lograrlo, lo que no esperaba era ver a uno de los mejores amigos de su ex, Nate y tampoco esperaba el buen recibiendo que él le da, empiezan a ser buenos amigos pero ella se da cuenta que eso podría ir más allá que una simple amistad 👀
Yo tenía muchas ganas de leer esta historia, estaba muy emocionada ya que es como un romance prohibido y eso me tenían con ganas de empezarla pero no sé si fue que no lo empecé en el mejor momento o simplemente no era para mí pero me costó muchooo avanzar, jamás me sentí emocionada o enganchada a la historia, bueno tal vez casi hasta el 70% que fue cuando se vino el dramita pero antes me costó mucho, como que me daba igual todo lo que pasaba, no sentí esa emoción como me pasó con los otros y me da una tristeza por qué sentía que podría ser mi favorito 😭
Igual el libro no es malo, de hecho siento que ambos protagonistas son re buenos, me gusto mucho como Nate hacía todo por ella, por eso me encanta leer millonarios muy enamorados 🫦 y Harper el como siempre se va a poner a ella primero, después de pasar por mucho en su última relación no va a dejar que nadie la trate así, como se va superando, son personajes muy bien construidos pero pues no fueron para mí.
Cómo dije la historia es re linda así que si se las recomiendo, en general la trilogía se las recomiendo, en definitiva mi favorito es el primero pero me gustó mucho como escribe Olivia así que seguiré leyendo más de ella.

В першу чергу хочу почати з того, що мені дуже цікава тема, яка піднята у цій історії — фінансова і емоційна залежність від партнера, який має аб'юзерські замашки. Це актуально і для реальних дівчат, які роками не можуть піти від своїх чоловіків через втрачену власну думку, невпевненість, відчуття провини за те, що він їх забезпечував і тд. Це реально жахливо, дуже поширено, а деякі чоловіки цим радо користуються. Але добре, перейдемо до самої суті.
Мені боліло серце за Нейта і його нерозділене кохання. Я дуже рада, що багато не описували ситуацій, коли він бачив разом Діна і Харпер. Чоловік мав таку силу волі, намагався зберегти гідність, поступово мордуючи себе своїми почуттями. Умотав у Лондон, але як кажуть — від долі не втечеш.
Харпер отримала таку емоційну травму через Діна, яка формувалася поступово кожним словом його, кожною дією, що врешті решт вибухнула у Харпер, і слава богу, що ця дівчина знайшла у собі сили врятувати себе. Я захоплююся тим, як вона прагнула до незалежності, але оскільки це бажання підсилювалося гірким досвідом, воно почало обертатися для Харпер тим, що вона боялася повторення і в наступних своїх відносинах.
Те, як боготворить Нейт цю дівчину — окрема тема для захопливого есе, де я буду хлопати в долоньки і тішитися як дитинка. The book is well written and the dialogue is good, but the storyline isn’t one for me. Two best friends wanting the same girl. One knows his best friend was interested and gets the girl anyways. Dates her for 4 years and when they were about to get married she breaks up with him and goes to live in London. This other best friend don’t even wait a respectful amount of time to finally try to have his chance with the girl of his dreams. I could not root for him after that because loyalty is a trait I really admire in a man. If the breakup had happened a few years back, I would be fine with the plot, but not in the way it was done. It was just too soon, it felt like betrayal, and so wrong of him. Both men were disloyal with each other in this story and I didn’t like that.

Such a sweet story. Nate is pretty much the perfect billionaire bf: sweet, down to earth, confident, sweet... did I mention sweet?? So sweet. Harper is a strong, intelligent, and independent woman. Both are very likeable.
Olivia Hayle for sure has a formula: first kiss at 40% first actual sex around 60% 3rd act breakup at 80%. It's in every single one of her books. However, she does it well. Everything flows, I couldn't put it down. But if I glanced at how far I was into reading, I knew what major plot point was coming up, which is what made me take a break from her.
But Nate is my new book bf. Just saying.

(4.75 ⭐️) No puedo creer que sea el final de la serie, que INJUSTICIA 😭 Me encantó todo, disfruté cada palabra. Nate estaba literalmente OBSESIONADO con Harper. El hombre era capaz de darse un tiro si ella se lo pedía JAJAJAJA que cute. Voy a extrañar esperar el siguiente libro, fue una serie increíble que con cada libro se puso mejor. Los AMÉ.

Going into this, I really didn’t know what to expect. Of course I liked Nate from his appearances in the previous 2 books but didn’t know much about him other than him being a supportive brother. This book made me fall in love with him!
Nate’s easily become one of my favourite MMCs I’ve ever read about. Seriously a billionaire MMC that’s not an asshole but kind, caring, and empathetic? *swoon* 😍
I loved the way Nate supported Harper and helped her flourish while never pressuring or burdening her with his unrequited feelings. The slow burn of their relationship developing into friendship and then more was a beautiful journey. They were so perfect together! 🥹

I can’t believe that this series that follows the Connovan siblings has come to an end; it feels like just the other day I was going absolutely feral over Connie and Gabriel, shortly followed by how soft Alec and Isabel were, and now, Nate and Harper have my heart!
Nate is a billionaire and the middle child of the Connovan siblings. An eligible bachelor and representative to Contron for Europe, and he’s also been in love with his best friend’s recent ex, Harper Elliot, who finds herself in London.
I adored how despite how very much in love Nate was with Harper; how determined he was to help her with a checklist that she wanted to complete before she was 30, and the friendship that blossomed because of it. Their sweet and tender moments had me insanely giddy. The banter and tension between them was so fitting for the jokester of the middle Connovan sibling, but I also loved how you saw a different side to him, that Harper brought out in him.
Nate had it so bad for Harper, he collected all the art she had ever recommended over the years; even if it was just the once that she had mentioned it; moved across the Atlantic Ocean because he couldn't stand to watch the woman he loved, be with his best friend. The man pined for years. 𝘠𝘌𝘈𝘙𝘚. And now, he finds himself with the one woman he’s watched from a respectable distance, living under his roof.
I loved seeing all the Connovan siblings together, happy and in love. I’m not sure how, I’m ever going to recover from them, or this series, but I cannot wait for Olivia has in store next!

Olivia Hayle has done it again! One Wrong Move is an adorable and captivating romance set against the backdrop of London, pairing a handsome billionaire (who falls first and HARD) with a regular woman just getting out of a tough relationship.
This story was sexy and sweet, adventurous and nerve racking at times. I loved both the MMC and the FMC. They were fantastic individually and as a couple. I loved watching their relationship develop. It was a nice medium burn, which suited their situation really well.
I loved the 30 under 30 bucket list being incorporated, as well as multiple great Jane Austen references. ☺️

Nate and Harper were so perfect together. I think this was honestly my second favorite in this series. The drama, the pining, the forced proxmity making their connection grow. I loved this book so much! I can't wait for what's next in this series.

Every time I read one of Olivia Hayle's books, I'm always thinking "this can't possibly be better than the last book", I have been wrong every single time. This book is absolutely fabulous, the amazing chemistry and banter between the characters is just jaw-dropping. I wish more people knew about her books because they're literally so amazing. 🌷
5 stars has lost all meaning to me when it comes to Olivia, it just doesn't feel enough even though it's literally the max rating ever. If I could give this book a billion stars, I would in a heart-beat. 💫
