Doctor Zack 'Magic' Maverick seemed to miraculously heal everyone he came in contact with. Except the person who mattered most to Savannah, and she could never forgive him for it...
Savannah Tyman struggled for years with the loss of her best friend Lacey. In time, she managed to put the past behind her and build a life with purpose, like forming a Search and Rescue team that would protect the people on her mountain. No one will abandon them like HE abandoned Lacey when he skipped town and didn’t look back.
Just when the team is growing and Savannah is blossoming, legendary “Doc Magic,” walks back through the door and Savannah must face the man who she believes left her friend to die. She wants to hate him, but Zack’s good looks, and boy next door charm, make it hard to remember why.
When a mudslide wipes out part of their beloved mountain and a hiker goes missing, Savannah and her new team must push themselves to the limit, to not only find the hiker, but bring him back safely. But when things go wrong, Zack and Savannah have to go on without the team. For Savannah, being alone on the mountain with Zack and her developing feelings is more dangerous than anything Mother Nature can throw at her. And when Savannah learns everything she thought she knew about Zack was a lie, she has to decide if she will keep fighting him, or will she fall under his spell.
Searching for Love is a clean romantic comedy, with a little adventure on the side.
I enjoyed this sweet romance. The characters are wonderful the storyline is amazing. After years of anger towards Zack, Savannah meets him again and has a hard time letting go of her anger, when they had to go on hikes together, she was able to see the man he really was. Such a sweet, clean, swoony story.
Really liked the characters and the storyline. Moved at a good pace had all the food feels without language or intimate details. Smooching is involved. Liked the working through of things felt realistic not forced. Well done will look for more from this author.
Fun, quick read that always left you wanting to just read a page more…and then another one… Ended all to quick, glad there’s a second one out already so I don’t have to wait!
