Gideon is contented with his life. He's a general contractor, a happily married man and father to seven - soon to be eight - children. He also has two wives, as the small community where he lives practices plural marriage. They also believe that God will reveal to the woman whom she is to marry. So he is blind-sided when three woman all name him as their intended! Why had he been chosen? How can he make room for them all? He believed that plural marriage was a blessing... but couldn't the Almighty bless someone else?

this was a short sweet novella. I liked the religious aspects of it and the journeys the characters took to get where they needed to be. my curiosity is piqued in regards to the polygamist life style.
