Forbidden Protector is Book 4 of Promises From The Heart. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, curvy girl gets her Dad's best friend romance. Honey is a 25 year old sweet and curvy plus-size baker. Liam is a hunky, 38 year old chef, single dad to 7 year old Will, and her dad's best friend. Honey has had a crush on Liam for 10 years. Liam has had feelings for Honey for 3 years but has been afraid of what her dad would say. But after a disastrous date, will Liam finally admit what everyone else sees and claim Honey? What will her dad say? I loved this short story! The chemistry was hot, the drama was low, and the ending was so happy. I loved Honey's dad!! I can't wait for Holly's story next!.

Liam and Honey have been in love with each other since they can remember. The fact that Honey's father is his mentor and he's older is the reason he not only stayed away but got married. Now, the only good thing to come of that is his son, Wil and his ex wife in the wind. Keeping his hands to himself is getting nearly impossible.

Both are back in their home town and the suppressed feelings and passion are undeniable. Once their control breaks there are going to be fireworks.

Fantastic story with plenty of angst, misunderstandings, suppressed passion and then so much steam. Thoroughly enjoyable. A new to me author and I will definitely be looking out for more from them.

I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy novella! The chemistry between Honey and the chef was undeniable, and the story was filled with plenty of steamy moments that made it hard to put down. I appreciated the mature handling of their relationship and the lack of unnecessary drama. This book is a perfect pick if you're in the mood for a quick, spicy romance with a happy ending.
