From the ashes, hope rises.

The rebellion is in shambles. The survivors of the uprising fight to keep their prince’s memory alive, but the new Lord of Winterstone watches their every move.

Casting off the robes of priesthood, Liam searches for a new purpose within the rebellion. Following a raid on a Haventhorn shipment, Liam finds himself drawn to the strange artifacts they found. Determined to understand them and how they could help the rebellion, he is drawn into a world he could never before imagine.

Meanwhile, Chrysaor desperately searches for allies in Allanar and instead finds a brewing plot for power. Forced to take on her former role as a noblewoman, Chrysaor navigates the Fae court in order to root out traitors and find those willing to help free Winterstone from its Southern shackles.

The Immortals by Sidney Oakman is the second book in a series. The Uprising is the first. Both are very well written fantasy books with faeries, mages, magic and battles. Definitely 5 star books. I found it hard to put down once I started as I couldn’t wait to see what happens with Erik, Chrysaor and their friends. Very exciting storyline. Sydney Oakman is a talented up and coming author and I cannot wait for the 3rd book in this series.

The second half makes it worth pushing through.

I will say I had to put it down a few times and take a break.😅
