The Harrisons are very good at collecting interesting metaphysical stories for their books. Most of the ones in this book are OBE stories, but there are also others on ghosts and the like. These are United Kingdom stories, too, which makes the book a bit different than ones with American stories, since they don't all sound like something you've read before.

The only shortcoming chapter in this book is the one on witchcraft and the occult. It reads downright silly. The authors try to warn the readers not to try to induce any paranormal experiences like OBEs, because doing so is "evil" and will invite the Devil into the reader's life. Same for using Ouija boards, tarot cards, visiting psychics, etc.

Yes, here is a book with story after story from individuals who will no longer fear anything in life, including death, due to their OBEs; and then the authors write an almost hysterical chapter warning the readers to fear the DEVIL--who DOES exist! I mean, it is just downright silly sounding. Other than that chapter, however, the book is a good read.
