Trekking In Nepal
Nepal has aptly been called ‘A Trekkers Paradise’ as her terrain mountain, hills and the Terai (flat land) offer some of the most spectacular trekking routes in the world. The trail into the interior parts of the country follows ancient foot trails, which meander through scenic riverbanks, intractably terraced fields and forested ridges connecting picturesque hamlets and mountain villages. We offer a number of different styles of trekking trip such as classic, challenging, luxury, and family, each of which may involve camping, staying in tea-houses or a combination of both. You will be led by our experienced guides and accompanied by friendly Sherpas to the world's mightest mountains through the spellbinding valleys, rhododendron forests and holy lakes of the Annapurna, Everest, Langtang and off-the-beaten-track regions.

Nepal is known as trekker's paradise and where the world's best trekking trail is marking on foot of the Himalayas and also off the beaten route leading straight to base camp of the world's highest mountains.
Kanchenjunga trekking is off the beaten trek in Nepal, laying the verge of eastern Nepal on the snow leopard valley in the conservation area. The Kanchenjunga trek exposes the splendid view of south & north Kanchenjunga massif also trek over the three high altitude passes.

Had this book in 2000 for a trek in Nepal. Am sure it has been updated, I thought the book did a fine job of covering essentials to having a good and safe time traveling though the Himalaya Range.

The definitive text, though a little dated now. Covers not only the treks, but the peoples, culture and just about everything else you could think of and a lot you couldn't have.

This book is very informative, and a must read if you're planning to visit Nepal. Nepal can be a challenging place to visit. The rough terrains and climate can be treacherous. I hope to visit someday, but before I do, I'll be reading this book once again.
