For the most part a lot of this should be common knowledge. But this book was good to read as an aspiring interior designer going into a career soon. There were a lot of things that I didn’t know in this book that would be very helpful for designers in the future!

Great resource for an interior design practice and students. Covers all aspects of running an interior design practice and includes sections on goal setting, career planning and job seeking.

Let's face it, we all think, I like to watch HGTV and rearrange my furniture on a regular basis. Your friends may gush over your flair for decor.

But running a business is more than just the fun parts of shopping, picking colors and textures, etc. It's also about professional responsibility, contracts, accounting. You know, the stuff that makes you want to cry.

Enter Professional Practice for Interior Designers. This book covers all aspects of business, and it includes a companion website. I think that this book could actually be helpful to almost anyone starting a business, as the needs are universal.

Very well-written and accessible.
