i think the writing was decent and this had a lot of potential but the fact that they had sex before ever even talking was insane to me. i understand she was under the influence but it was genuinely their first time ever seeing each other like i feel like the author could’ve written something better but i do think the plot was promising so i may continue.

This book felt like one of those dreams where the only plot is you having a significant other, you don’t know how or why y’all got together but you know y’all are together. That’s it, that’s all.

I wish it had been longer. There was a little too much sex and not enough emotion but I still had a good time. The world building was nice.

Not very believable even with a wild imagination
So good things first! I loved, loved the book cover! Almost everything else about this story was very surface-level. While the story starts out well it quickly deteriorates so badly that I am unable to finish reading it. The main character is getting over the ultimate betrayal by her fiancé when the cruise ship she’s on wrecks. What follows checks with most fantasy style reads, but it’s here that the story loses me. After the wreck, she finds herself alone until a large man-like creature appears and coaxes her, quite easily into being intimate with him. Like really easily and quickly. Like no build up or nothing. Sorry, it was just to unbelievable for me.

Basic sentence structure, heroine, sex, and plot overall. Did nothing for me as I didn’t get chemistry from the mains. Just meh.

I really enjoy reading this book!
This book was a great read for me because it didn't take the reader off to a different planet but bought a different race of beings to earth that needed a new home and continue their beings. The.mother save who she could save and watch over her beings and help them survive , this book is the start to a great new series that can bring more readers to the island because of it's fresh way of adding something new to something we think is old but we on earth haven't yet begin to explore our planet to see the different things we can discover about ourselves and the world we live in, this brings that fresh look at planet Earth. Earth needs us to discover what we need to save her and make her better. This made me look at the things that is happening everyday as a sign that we aren't alone and that we must change our planet. I love author stay in the story and not put the reader in two different places but stay in the story that these guys was from a different planet and didn't try to hide it plus I want to know the other secret of the Island. If there is another book I am all in because this book was so well written and thought out by the author that it kept the reader engaged to the story and that for me is so important because once the author lose the reader attention it is hard to get it back. O'Hare , knows how to keep her readers hook and wanting more. I was happy to give this story a five star review. Try the book. As always happy reading😉.

April got her groove back and then some.
I've been devouring this author's books, child. These stories are making me love them. April is experiencing betrayal from her fiancé and former best friend when another friend offers her a cruise. The voyage to Bermuda was going well until a storm caused their shipwreck. All but four (April, Halle, Megan, and Tiffany) seem to have survived. The ladies stumbled upon a fruit similar to coconut, which led April to have a pleasurable dream, or was it? April has been claimed by Tero, a resident of the island, who hopes to establish a life with her. A lot of love is going on here, and April is letting her freak flag fly. The island is not exactly what it seems, and Tero is holding back something until he can't, and April is invited by the Island Mother to discover the secrets.
Despite some minor errors, there was not enough to distract from this story. I was impressed by the originality of the characters and the storyline. I will continue the series if the rest of the series is made available on Kindle books. This story is highly recommended for anyone who loves sci-fi romance.

Just ok
First, the ending is not good and makes the story feel unfinished. There is a lot of telling in this book and no showing. It could really used an editor too. The main female character came off as childish a lot of the time and her thought processes did not make sense. I really wanted to like this book and this author but her writing style is just not for me. There was no real substance just sex all over the place and the main female character being mad at another character that went on way too long. Again an editor is really needed or a beta reader, for example: when grown was spelt groan or an instance when the female main character pushed another female character onto one of the male characters and then later tried to shame her and accused her of trying to steal the male character when she was the one who tried to set it up and even called her own self petty for doing it.

Y’all… I couldn’t do it. One can only suspend belief so far. Unfortunately, the poor editing, rushed storyline, and the immaturity of the main character, made it hard to stay invested, but it was not a deal breaker. What WAS the dealbreaker was homegirl, Miss Modern Independent Woman, thinking “let me take my right literally musty self to go sleep with this literally musty man without protection despite me knowing my fiancé been sleeping around on me”. Mind you, I still haven’t had a shower, and my ankle can’t decide if it’s hurt or not. I’m ashy. My hair is crazy. Surely I’m traumatized, right? And PS, I’m still unwashed with after sex funk going back around this man who speaks like Tarzan despite sounding like he’s from either Great Britain or the United States, and here I am still acting like I’m not smelling beyond horrific. Ma’am. I’m out.

This is my second book by the author and I was hoping it would improve from the first one, but unfortunately no. The bones of the plot are good but its just not carried out in a way that's satisfactory to me. The heroine was immature and not well developed at all, she's more worried about hating her ex friend than the situation they find themselves in and she acts like a child basically at all times.
Also, I truly hate to be this person but this needed serious editing before publishing. The occasional mistake is fine, whatever, but this had mistakes on almost every page, everything from punctuation issues to blatant misspellings.

Great Storytelling
I love this story line. The Bermuda Triangle has always and still is a mystery to mankind. A cruise for ladies only traveling through said triangle lands these unfortunate or fortunate ladies on an ship wrecked island inhabited only by fine ass men! Hot damn! April is leaving a cheating ex finance and meets her mate and fine ass mystery man, that she can’t quite keep her hands off of. Tero is bitten by the “love at first sight” bug, but he knows that she wants to leave the island and go home. He’s hiding secrets while trying to get her pregnant. Eva, I really hope you are rushing the next book out.

I have been seeing Eva O’Hare books for a while and always meant to get into them. I wasn’t too sure about this book, but it ended well enough for me. It can be said that the book is more smut than plot, but it’s a series opener so I have to read more of O’Hare’s writing to give a real judgement.
If you like smut, shipwrecks, and an island full of gorgeous men, this is for you.

Quick Insta Love Read
First I’d like to say that this book is promising, but it needs more depth to the characters and more back story and better editing. With those things fixed it would make this a 5 star book. I love the idea of having native islanders and a Mother Island as the goddess of their island. I just wish there was more detail about their looks. And a better backstory about the natives like Tero. Maybe book 2 will be better.

New World here
April is crushed after finding her best friend with her fiance. She goes on a girls weekend that ends when they are stranded on a remote and strange sland but with her former best friend. I liked how she had to deal with her past and this new scary world. I could have used more plot and less "spicy bits". Not sure ill read more though I'm intrigued about the island

I won't lie this book was terrible.
April is selfish, silly and immature. she doesn't even care about her friends. The male main character disturbs me, and island mother is just plain evil. I'm not even emotionally invested in the FMC and MC relationship. I hate the way they started. I was leaving that dreadful island. April wth is wrong with you

It was ok
I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I enjoyed the sci-fi aspect and mystery but the sex was excessive. I love a sex scene but this was too much. Would I read the other books if it was a series? I'm not sure I would. Also, I didn't like the ending.

Unexpectedly good
What an interesting read. I’m not sure what I was expecting but this wasn’t it. I love how free April was at time with Tero. Sometimes you just have to do what you feel. Now I just need to know what happens with the other woman. Guess I’ll have to wait for the next book

April got her HEA with Teros 🥰🥰 Storyline was cute that they were still on earth 🌍 Halle was not a true friend. Megan at least explained herself, she was wrong and Karma is funny. I did want Halle to go back because she was not a true friend to April.
