Luciana "Luce" Romoli nasce a Roma nel dicembre del 1930. Terza di dieci figli, cresce a Casal Bertone, quartiere popolare e operaio, in una famiglia antifascista. Nel dopoguerra lavora per il PCI ed è collaboratrice di Gianni Rodari. A partire dagli anni Novanta porta la sua testimonianza nelle scuole. Luciana è stata staffetta ed è tuttora partigiana.
