The Reverend J Aelwyn Roberts was Vicar of Llandegai in North Wales for 36 years. As Director of Social Work and Adoption Officer for the Diocese of Bangor he found himself increasingly called upon to deal with hauntings and other aspects of the paranormal. His fascinating tales about his ghost experiences have led to frequent appearances on television for BBC Wales and HTV. As well as being a consummate story-teller, he has written many stories and scripts for BBC Radio.
'It began when as a young parish priest I tried to assuage my curiosity about ghosts, and in no time at all found myself enjoying the company of these people from the world of yesterday. I even found myself acting as counsellor/social worker to many of them. I just can't understand anyone being afraid of ghosts.'

Fascinating compilation. Wonderful to know how willing Roberts is to collaborate with whomever - Psychic, Medium, Spiritualist, etc. who might be helpful in each instance to provide a successful resolution to the challenge at hand. Interesting synchronicity in the names. Re: Aelwyn and Elwyn. Excellent in the documentation of details and in the variety of accounts.
A fun read with entertaining paranormal experiences. Narration takes some getting use to and I was expecting more spooky/mystical paranormal experiences.
This book is simply written and yes there are some very interesting stories in it, but the names of places, and people is just to annoying to me as I'm not familiar with the area's he is talking about or the pronunciation. I'm not sure what I was expecting here but this was definantly not it.
