Positive Parenting Using the G.O.L.D. Standard
A few years ago we realized that something needed to be done to increase the love and harmony in our home! We were tired of listening to constant complaining, whining, arguing, and yelling amongst our children! We were sick of having to ask our children five times to do something and we were tired of nagging, cajoling, bribing, yelling, and giving time-outs!
This is when we started formulating a parenting program called “The G.O.L.D. Standard.” When we started this program, it was as if a transformation had taken place in our home! Our children started becoming accountable for their own actions and became more cooperative and willing to work. The amount of whining and arguing decreased dramatically!
We have been revising and improving the program ever since that time. We started to have many friends and family members ask us how they could start this program in their own homes. The response was so positive that we decided to put together a book and website so that we could share the G.O.L.D. Standard with others! We hope this program is as beneficial to you as it has been to us!
