DeathShade: Book One

Rate this book
A black whisper crosses the land.

Deep in the wilds of the Larion forest stands a mountain, a lone mountain with a heart of evil.

Abandoned by the Dwarves, forgotten by Man and shunned by the very Forest itself, the Mountain...stirs.

But the guardians of the land have heard.

The Father of all Dragons, the favored son of DvorHavin, the Heir to the throne of Cathias, a rogue Wanderer Lord and the mute runaway with power beyond imagining. All of them will hear the evil whispers in DeathShade and one by one they will be swallowed by its darkness.

And a world shall tremble when they fail...

About the author

Axel J. Moeller

5 books1 follower
Last son in a large family, Axel survived growing up as a wild, untamed country brat in the sagebrush fields of Idaho. He is now able to hold his own at dinner parties, social gatherings and functions without embarrassing himself or his hosts. You can take the country out of the boy. Still, he wouldn't have changed it. Growing up wild has its advantages. Axel never finished his Bachelors in the Arts. Three classes away, he jumped ship and began living in the real world. It was unfortunate because he really enjoyed being a student. World history became a fascination. Languages came later. Growing up in southern Idaho, it was hard to believe that a vast world was out there with a thousand, thousand different beliefs and ways of expressing ones self.

Axel is currently living in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles after 16 years of living in Seattle Washington. The sun is a fantastic thing.

Axel has been drawing freelance for over 20 years in areas as diverse as the businesses that need artwork and illustration for thier advertising. Profficient in Photoshop, Axel mainly uses a compatible program called Painter to design work for the computer.

Good start to the series

Very good world building, can't wait to read book two. I am interested in seeing how the character Warlock develops, he is an enigma.
