I never asked for this, whatever they might say.
One moment, I was just another art student and the next, I was plunged into the heart of a secret society at my university, a world cloaked in shadows and whispers. It's supposed to be a myth, but at the elite Blackvellyn University, it is more than a myth, it's tradition. The ancient Greeks told the tale of how Persephone was claimed by Hades, the Lord of the Dead, and became Queen of the Underworld.
Kidnapped from the Reaper Ball, by men in skull masks, I was to be their Persephone for the year. They called it an honor, a privilege. I called it a nightmare. Hades and his two DeathKnights have claimed me for their own, and there is no escaping their world. As the year goes on, the rituals I have to participate in become darker, deadlier and sparking a passion and a darkness I never knew hid within my own soul.
As I begin to embrace my own dark desires, shadows arise out of my past to torment me further. The Deadmen's Clubs might have its secrets, but so do I, and they are about to find out that there is an even deadlier danger lurking in the shadows at Blackvellyn - and he doesn't like sharing ….
This is the first book in the “Deadmen's Club” and I could not put it down! This book will capture you from start to finish and everything in between!
WOW, what a read - hot, hot, hot 🥵🥵🥵 Could not put this book down - read in less than twenty four hours! Nearly every page sizzles with hot wanton sex or the thoughts or possibilities that could happen! The book is addictive - I did not want it to end! This book will capture you from start to finish and everything in between - cannot wait for the next book in the series!
Paige is a sweet innocent virgin and very naive when she enrols in Blackvellyn University to study art - her passion! She is “kidnapped” by The Reapers (Bast, Nathan and Tristan) to be their “Persephone” for the year in the secret Deadman’s Society - a group of the elites going back generations. Each of the Reaper’s, as the book continues, begin to show the reasons for their own depravities and why they are the way they are - and you will love it! I know I did 😉😉 Each of the boys develop their own unique relationship, qualities and traits with Paige, and her with them, with Bart being the dominant.
A thoroughly enjoyable read from page to page, one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊
