With one football legend, a feral cage fighter, the country’s youngest Senator, and one seriously stern professor, the Thorne Pack couldn’t be more intimidating, even without an omega to bond them.
Which is probably for the best—with all their sharp edges, how could they ever take care of anything precious?
Turns out, they may not have a choice.
When happenstance hands them an omega who needs help, the bond is instant—and accidental. Now, they have to show her they’re ready to fight for her heart, even if they lose everything else to win her over.

Ari Wright resides in a sun-soaked corner of the United States, where she spends her days raising littles, cooking, reading, consuming massive amounts of music, and doing entirely too much daydreaming.
Ari began writing novels at the age of twelve. A passionate book-lover all her life, her mother once joked that she had to start writing her own stories because she had read everyone else’s. After fifteen years of writing, Ari finally set out to author her debut contemporary romance novel... instead, she wrote two!
It has been her lifelong dream to share the worlds inhabiting her mind with others. Welcome to her dream come true!
No telling why but my enjoyment of this authors books has gone down significantly each time. It comes off like she's trying to mimic Devyn Sinclair and several other OV authors and I'd rather see her own style. Sorry. Not sorry. Said what I said.
Ari Wright is omegaverse at its BEST. This was phenomenal, and I wish it had been 500 pages longer just because I didn’t want to say goodbye to these characters. I couldn’t choose just 1 favourite hero because each one was so special to me. SO amazing.

The images at the beginning (and end) of the chapters were adorable and sent reminders to me throughout the book which was so cute and unique! There were so many great tropes in this book, and it was long, so we really got to explore all of them, get the full angst, great character development, and great story progression without feeling rushed or having plot holes. I’ll definitely be reading more from this series! My biggest wish is more MM!! She alluded to some MM scenes, but I wanted more! To balance it out, we got a sweet FMC who is spoiled rotten by 4 vastly different MMCs who are all obsessed with her 🥰

can i just write a 20 page review on Avery and Avery alone because he was MY FAVORIIIIIIIIITE 😭😭😭😭😭 the angry fighter who thinks no one will care if he just leaves the pack FALLS TO HIS KNEES when he meets his omega. 😭😭😭😭 his pov chapters had me in tears. the way he took care of Serena from the second they met…. willing to fight his pack brothers if she didn’t want to leave with them. helping with her heat spikes. their relationship was just so amazing and they healed each other 😭😭😭😭
jonah is a second favorite of mine with his after care and always touching her because she was touch starved. not to say i didn’t like Spencer or Tristan….just not as much as these two 🫣
Tristan just annoyed me when he just ignored Serena. like i understand why, especially with the circumstances but i still didn’t like it 😂
They all helped Serena thrive in different ways and they were all so loyal and obsessed from the first time they smelled her.
there is no real ow drama (just one instance where the shop girls are flirting with Tristan and he makes sure they know he is with his mate) and they all seem to be whores before they meet Serena. NONE of it is shown or even talked about in their povs like even in their thoughts they are only ever thinking about Serena, but in Spencer’s inner thoughts he said that Jonah and Avery slept with too many girls for him to count and Tristan was well known in certain circles for his activities and when Spencer was in his 20s he would volunteer at heat clinics but it’s been like 10 years since that for him and there is no mention of when the others had their last times. there was a time when Tristan first saw Serena that he said he has dated the most beautiful models and women around but no one holds a candle to Serena. so honestly their pasts were only mentioned twice because no one compares to their girl.
poor Serena went through so much but i feel like we didn’t really get deep into it. not saying that we HAD to get details but i feel like everything was wrapped up too quickly and what could have been good angst was just kind of gone. and then the last 90% of the book happened so fast.
thank you so much for an arc of this. i was crying over the cuteness by the end. like actual sobbing. it just warmed my soul 😂

Author: Ami Wright Genre: Reverse Harem Romance Narrators: James Cavenaugh and Brooke Daniels
🦸🏻♂️ The Heroes: The Thorne Pack — Spencer, Tristan, Jonah, and Avery
The pack functions as a study in contrasts, each alpha embodying a different archetype of power and alienation:
• Avery (“The Ghost”): His detachment from both victory and belonging positions him as a liminal figure. He wins because he is indifferent, which raises questions about motivation and identity in competitive spaces. His estrangement from his pack underscores the theme of isolation within community. • Tristan: As senator and leader, Tristan represents institutional authority. His dual role highlights the tension between public duty and private impulse. His financial support of Avery illustrates loyalty, but his impulsive bonding with Serena reveals a conflict between principle and instinct. • Spencer: The intellectual alpha, defined by rigidity and control. His dynamic with Jonah reflects reciprocal utility — protection for knowledge — suggesting that even friendships are transactional within this framework. • Jonah: The most socially integrated, yet existentially restless. His discovery of Avery in underground fights positions him as a bridge between marginal spaces and legitimacy. His role emphasizes the theme of normalization versus spectacle.
🦸🏼♀️ The Heroine: Serena
Serena’s trajectory is framed by exploitation and commodification. Her “super-perfume” functions as both biological marker and economic resource, reducing her identity to utility. Her silence and survival strategies highlight the long-term effects of coercion. The half-bond with Tristan situates her agency at the center of the narrative: the story hinges not on Tristan’s power but on Serena’s choice to reciprocate or reject.
🔥 Plot Dynamics
The inciting incident — Tristan’s bite — is analytically significant because it collapses the boundary between political ideals and primal instinct. The half-formed bond becomes a metaphor for incomplete consent, forcing the narrative to interrogate autonomy, responsibility, and collective identity. Serena’s decision-making process is the structural pivot: the pack’s cohesion and Tristan’s credibility depend on her agency.
🌟 Strengths
• The omegaverse framework is deployed to explore sociopolitical themes (rights, consent, bias) rather than purely supernatural tropes. • Tristan’s guilt introduces moral complexity, situating the narrative within broader debates about power and ethics. • The multi-alpha dynamic creates layered interpersonal negotiations, illustrating how Serena’s bond would redistribute influence within the pack.
💔 Limitations
• The frequency of intimate scenes disrupts narrative pacing, reducing opportunities for thematic exploration. • The balance between sensuality and plot leans heavily toward the former, which weakens the analytical depth of the omegaverse premise.
🎙 Audiobook Narration
The dual narration structure mirrors the multi-POV text but exposes limitations in performance:
• Brooke Daniels effectively conveys Serena’s vulnerability and resilience, aligning voice with character age and affect. • James Cavenaugh, tasked with voicing four distinct alphas, struggles with differentiation. This homogenization undermines the individuality of the pack, which is central to the narrative’s thematic design.
💭 Final Thoughts
Analytically, the audiobook succeeds in using omegaverse conventions to interrogate consent, belonging, and political bias. The Thorne Pack’s varied archetypes create a microcosm of power structures, while Serena’s agency reframes the narrative around choice rather than dominance. However, the imbalance between intimate content and thematic development limits the text’s potential as a deeper exploration of its own world-building.
This book is 70% miscommunication, 10% heat and bonding, 5% random secret twin sister, 5% epilogue. Yes that’s only 90% because it’s missing any of the healing from her trauma, and has so much off page relationship building once again. She moves in and suddenly 4 days later is basically fine?
I've never had an author so aggressively self recommend themselves on my request posts. I did give it a shot but I'm sad to say it wasn't for me. There are better quality omegaverse books available. I was also put off by the author refusing to admit it was her book.
Tropes: -Omegaverse / Fated mates -Why-Choose -Accidental bonding -Pierced 🍆 -Running from an abusive situation -Defective scent (too strong)
I’ve spent my entire life asking myself why I’m here. Because wherever I was felt wrong. But the second our gazes lock, my soul snaps forward. Oh. That’s why.
My review:
OKAY. So, this one is definitely better than book 2, which means I will not be dropping this series or giving up on this author just yet.
The setting and the plot were really different from book 1 and 2, which felt refreshing. Serena, our omega, escapes the place she’s been forced to live and work in and runs to the nearest police station, where she meets our Pack Alpha and accidentally makes him lose his mind and bond her.
Those kinds of things are usually hit or miss depending on how the author writes them… but she did a very good job with both of their reactions and feelings, and the rest of the pack was amazing too. She quickly developed a distinct relationship with each of them that felt different from the previous books, probably because the MMCs don’t feel like they’re copy-pasted with different names.
I mean, sure, they share some common traits and stuff, but they’re all well-written and thought out this time. My favorite is Avery; he’s unhinged in the best ways. The author also gave them all interesting backstories that match their personalities and their reactions to finding their mate.
The “rejection” or the “I need to stay away from her” reactions from some of them actually made sense this time!! Like!! You see, it wasn’t THAT hard to write reasonable and understandable reasons for an alpha to stay away from his mate because he’s not ready or because he has a real reason to be scared, and not some bullshit excuse like “She’s too good for me”. I’m kinda pissed too now because… book 2 could have been so much better if she’d spent more time writing that one particular MMC properly. (Smith)
Both of my hands float up automatically in surrender. I’ve never surrendered to anyone. They have to knock me unconscious or die trying. But in this moment? It comes as naturally as breathing. And then I’m on my knees. You bow to her, my Alpha says. Only, always her.
Since there’s mostly smut in Ari Wright’s stories, I can’t talk much about the plot without spoiling too much, but I’ll just say I was pleasantly surprised by the pacing of this third book and that the author managed to throw in some plot twists at the end that I don’t think many readers will see coming. It was a bit rushed, probably because it wasn’t centered on the MMCs, so I guess the author didn’t want to bother too much with it.
Yes. More. Burn me up. Melt me down. Make me into something new. Something hers.
Disclaimer: I received a review copy for free via The Author Agency, and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts. Many thanks to The Author Agency and the author for the opportunity!
This is the first book in the series I read, but definitely didn't feel lost as it was a standalone. I loved the premise and I loved all the main characters here! The pacing worked really well for a RH standalone, and it did feel like everyone mostly had equal screentime which can be hard in a group with four guys. The different dynamics and the hurt/comfort vibes were great! Serena went through so much, and I kind of wish that we got a little more comfort in a way because things kind of wrapped up really fast. Since there were so many guys, we got to see a bit from everyone, but not as much depth as I was hoping. But the group was really fun and again, I did like that it was a 440~ page standalone so nothing felt too dragged out. I'd absolutely love tto read more from Ari!
Another fun, easy read from Ari Wright. I've really enjoyed this series and they're such quick reads. I enjoyed the little twist near the end but it would have worked without it
*Knot Her Fight* is live, and it’s a spicy, instalove Omegaverse sports romance you won’t want to miss! This story pulls you into a world where an unexpected bond ties together a fierce omega, Serena, and an intimidating group of alphas who have no idea what they’re in for.
Serena’s escape from one bad situation throws her into the hands of the Thorne Pack—a powerful group made up of a football legend, a cage fighter, the country’s youngest Senator, and a no-nonsense professor. Each alpha has their own sharp edges and baggage, making them an intimidating force even without the dynamic shift that comes from being accidentally bonded to an omega. Watching the pack’s transformation as they realize they need to protect, fight for, and earn Serena’s trust and love is what makes this book so gripping.
Serena, a fighter through and through, has been through hell, but she’s not going down without swinging. Her journey from simply wanting freedom to discovering what it means to be part of a pack is both emotional and captivating. Each alpha in the pack brings something different to the table, and watching them soften to her while still maintaining their dominant personalities is an emotional rollercoaster.
*Knot Her Fight* masterfully combines action, tension, and tender moments, as the Thorne Pack fights not only external forces but also their own insecurities about whether they’re capable of caring for someone as precious as Serena. If you’re into stories with strong alpha dynamics, fierce heroines, and intense emotional stakes, this one delivers all that and more.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 – A gripping, heart-pounding read filled with action, passion, and an unexpected bond that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
I liked this one better than the second one, in the sense that there were more alphas to go around... and that's better in my mind for some reason... idk.
Spencer was NOT for me, let me tell you that one for free, and I am soooo, so done with the quasi-incenst in this series. I want to be doneeeee. Seriously, I really like the series as a whole - and I loveeee MM, sword-crossing scenes!!!- but I cannot take the absolute cringe/gross-out factor out of the equation everytime I think about BROTHERS basically being there TOGETHER! It's making me not look forward to them, taking all my enjoyment out of them! Like, I know canonically it's ok and all, but like, I'm not ok... And in this one there's never any touching of the brothers when they are... you know... but still... I just... yeah.
I also kind of liked that the author pulled the Tia and Tamera stuff out if her a** at the last second like -BAM- you thought you knew what was happening, well think again. It admittedly came out of nowhere, and I think the book would have been more than fine without it, but it's kind of cute so I was cool. The epilogues (yes, multiple) were sweet and nice, and felt like a perfect way to round up a story that was so raw and that started so torn and tattered.
As with this entire series, be mindful of the spice cause it's through the roooooffff 🌶🌶🌶🌶
I liked the idea but the execution was lacking for me..
There were a few major things that kind of ruined it.
My biggest complaint is that the story drags. Like.. I think I skimmed the last 20% because I was just getting kind of bored.
The alpha that accidentally bonds her literally follows up that mistake with completely ignoring her? Like.. of course that would make her feel rejected? Duh. I know men can be stupid but I don't read romance to read about stupid men.
"It's not like he knows me. He hasn't even tried to. Then again, he didn't bite me for my personality. Maybe my scent is the only value I'll ever have, for the senator." pg. 179
I also felt like her scent was such an important part of what happened to her but it felt like it was only added for the plot because there is no actual reason for it and it's only ever brought up as the thing to blame for what happened to her? I just wish that we had more information on the why of that because it's not something I have ever read about before so this author had so much opportunity with it that she missed.

Before you start reading this story read the trigger warnings, because your mental health always comes first.
Ari tells us the story of Serena who had to suffer through a lot in her recent life. As she is finally able to free herself from the hell she lives in, she meets the Thorne pack. Their members are Tristan - a Senator, Spencer - working as a professor, Jonah - an NFL player and Avery, who is a professional MMA fighter. The story gets complicated as Serena is accidentally bonded (half-sided) to Tristan, the pack leader. The intimidating alphas now have to deal with a broken omega. And on their way to convince her that not all alphas are walking devils, Ari fills the story with a lot of banter and soooo much smut. You will be hot and bothered the whole time, wishing knots are real.
Quotes:
“Such a good omega,” he murmurs, stepping closer. “You want to see what’s yours? Show whoever’s watching in the house that you like big alpha coçks?”
“It’ll fit,” he murmurs, somehow soft and rough.
Needing me, I think—because, fųçk, her perfume has never been this incredible before. Just breathing is enough to start a frenzy, my blood thrumming faster the closer I get.
Ok, so this was a great read for me. I honestly jumped down an Omegaverse sized rabbit hole, and I couldn't get out of it! Ari Wright's series has me hooked! Oof Serena's upbringing and current situation was heartbreaking. I so loved this book. Without spoiling anything, check out this series if you really enjoy women being taken care of by her men.
This one is heavy on sex and light/medium on plot & characters. Which isn’t bad! Leaned too hard into the miscommunication trope, which always drives me up a wall.
And I will say that, considering the whole story begins with Serena being bitten (bonded) by one of these MMCs without her consent & how they were all “we’ll make this up to you, we’ll show you what you mean to us” etc etc, several of the sex scenes going forward were still in a weirdly grey area of consent. Bc omegaverse you know?
But overall, I enjoyed it and didn’t hate anyone. Banter was not overly clever but also not overly cringe, for the most part? Avery is my dude for sure. I found Jonah boring and Spencer was meh for me. Tristan is pretty okay, but nothing amazing.
I like Serena, she was also just, like, an FMC. She was tough but fearful, had had a hard life. I liked her best in her interactions with Avery but that might be bc I liked Avery best as well.
I think this will likely be exactly what you think it’s going to be. If that’s the kind of book/vibe you’re looking for, give this one a go.
This is the second book by Ari Wright I have read and they have both been great. There is always angst, drama, a little miscommunication, and longing but from the very beginning her characters care about each other. It’s nice to read about alphas who want to support and cherish their omega, even if they don’t always get it right. Their intentions are good.
I will say, I didn’t relate to Serena as much as I did Remi from the previous book but I still loved it.
DNF. Kept me semi interested until 70% when I realized it wasn’t going to get better. Serena had an incredibly traumatic life but seemed to heal from that trauma overnight. She also has an irresistible scent, but no explanation aside from the fact that her bio mom did too. It seems like there should have been more of a reason behind it given it makes up such a huge part of the “plot”. I would have liked more details of all the characters’ pasts beyond the paragraph or two that we got on each of them, if that.
I loved this book. Serena, an omega, gets accidentally bitten by Senator Tristen Thorne. He’s no choice but to introduce her to his pack, carrying an extreme amount of guilt. However, they’re scent matches.
She moves in with them and helps each one with their own internal struggles without even knowing it - Avery and his anger and rage, Spencer’s touch-aversion, and the longing Jonah has to care for someone. And while she processes and shares her past with the pack, she also becomes stronger with their devotion to what she needs.
Knot Her Fight, book 3 of MVP: Most Valuable Pack, by Ari Wright @ari.wrights.romance. Please read the trigger warnings!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about Serena, Avery, Jonah, Spencer & Tristan. Some hard topics were addressed in this book. Tropes: RH without MM, Traumtized FMC, low angst, no 3rd act breakup, & accidental bonding.
I'm a 𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐄 omegaverse fan so when I say this I mean it! This might be one of the best omegaverse books I've read this year! And it's definitely the best accidental bonding omegaverse I've ever read! I have loved this series. And when I had the opportunity to review it early I jumped on it. Ari Wright check every single one of my favorite tropes off with this book! It was emotionally heartbreaking with the most lovable characters.
Watching Serena overcome everything she had been through with the support of these men! They completely changed her presentation of life, all while restoring her dream of having a pack! They might have started off on rocky terms and were thrust into pack life together, but these 5 made the best of it. The character development in this book was flawlessly done. Each of them overcame their own obstacles ultimately becoming such an incredible pack together!
I loved the balance that each of them brought to the pack. Jonah was playful and always so good at bringing light to a situation. Avery was protective and the definition of "he's only soft for her". Spencer could relate to her and bring her out of her shell in the demanding way she needed. Tristan was pack leader and kept them all grounded.
Even though this book started off pretty heavy, I was so happy to see that there was very little conflict caused by outsider sources. This book was mainly centered around them finding their way as a pack! Which I LOVED! It ended with 5 perfect epilogues from each character in the pack! 😍 I always love multiple epilogues in different POVs.
This is a fun, smütty, but also vulnerable, Omegaverse why-choose story. If reading, you need to be open to Omegaverse, which is supernatural romance. I have only dabbled a little in this subgenre, so my review may not reflect those who read Omegaverse more frequently.
The descriptions in this book of emotion and various scenes are great, sometimes seeming even a bit poetic and suck you in! I like the insatiable desire and intensity that is often present in Omegaverse and this is no exception - lots of that good, lusty intensity and emotion.
Serena has had a traumatic life which leaves her in a very vulnerable position of needing rescue. She is often scared. We get glimpses of a stronger side which I would have liked to see a little more develop over time, but also understood the need to just be taken care of after a hard start in life. We do get to see her come out and build her strength bit by bit.
Each of the four men have very distinctive characters which is always a nice feature of why choose stories.
I thought initially Spencer would be my type but Avery was the one who captured me (and Serena!) most off the bat. He’s supposed to be this rage-y, bad boy, MMA fighter but he just crumples to a total simp for Serena and I loved it.
I was still highly into Spencer though and did like him the most. My heart squeezed when he first touched her and the way he slowly opens up for her. He’s a brokenboi inside and mm I just love them. Definitely my fave. Oh and his first 🌶️ scene with her… being proper ‘Professor Spencer’ when he’s ‘teaching’ her? 🫦 *chef’s kiss*
The other two men, Jonah and Tristan are also lovely characters. Soft giant NFL player and the considerate and generous senator.
I mean, basically, who doesn’t want a whole bunch of hot men wholly devoted to cuddling and taking care of you? Mmm.
Overall this is a good story of being thrown into a situation, learning to trust and be with each other along with lots of open-door explicit sexy times.
Happy finding this new-to-me author and I’m going to veer off-plan to read some of her others because I’m in an Omegaverse mood now!
I have received an advance copy of this book and have left my honest review.
