Covers The Full Spectrum

This text covers the full spectrum of information one should consider planning for. I wish some more detail was included, but I recognize much of this text is very region and environment specific. I very much liked the emphasis on long term planning and life habits, whether self defense, or team building in the neighborhood or crop rotation.

The author does a great job in providing high level considerations for survival if the grid goes down. This is a great book for people trying to acclimate to the subject, followed by finding additional resources for a more detailed look at some of the topics. For example, I thought the mention of beekeeping was valuable, and may search for comprehensive books on beekeeping to learn the details of how to do it. This book will get you started on things to consider and is a great first step in SHTF preparation.
