Sad but true

It is sad that some people are born into a culture where they do not belong. The problem with the type of cultures that are ruled by men is that men try to live by control, complete control and often its a case that violence is used to frighten those under their control. They are brought up to believe that they are much more superior to women and therefore women are under their control. Marriages between relatives has to have consequences and not all deformities are physical.
I found the layout of the book strange, as sentences were split up using a whole page whereas half a page would have been sufficient.
