Way to slow burning romance
Why I love the humour and sassy talk the slow burn romance should be over by the 3rd book. Everly should have chosen who she wanted by now or a polyamory romance would be fine just get the show on the road. Stop stringing the read along get on with romance.

I love, love, love, this book! The epilogue was shocking! HOLY COW! I so can't wait for the next book!
I am an avid Melissa Haag fan. That's the first reason I started reading this series, and these books don't disappoint! Because of that, my next read will be Nicole's. I haven't read anything of hers yet, but I am really looking forward to it.
I absolutely love the slow burn in this series.
Cross is my absolute favorite. Especially with the way he teases Shepard. It's always freaking hilarious and sometimes also adorable as well.
The bantering in this book is awesome! This series flows very well. It's consistent, easy, and pleasurable to read. I don't want this series to end!

Couldn't put it down
Death and Donuts was a thrilling third installment. The pieces are coming together, and the fourth book, Magic and Muffins will be the conclusion. No one was kidnapped this time, but that doesn't mean Miles is any safer, and with the third ring out there, the Shadow World may not be either.
Everly continues to date both men — some may call this a why-choose or love triangle, but it's more grown-up than that— which is also picking up steam. Love these characters, but I'm looking forward to see what happens in the finale.

Get more serious.
Rooting for both Cross and Shepherd. Both are as sexy as hell so who would not be the meat in there sandwich ha! ha!. Love this story just as much as the others but getting to be very intense.

The story was interesting but it was a “why choose” which I really don’t like. I wish I knew that going in because it ruins it for me. My brain can’t process that idea.
