He likes his women dark-skinned, very plus-sized and unable to run away from him.
Juliette's best friend Quin suffered a tragedy that forced her to stay confined to her house for years...
When Quin emerges with her dark secret and 130 lbs of weight gain, she turns to her bestie in Santa Fe for help.
The last thing she expects to switch things up is a 6'6" red-headed multi-millionaire biker who harbors a dark obsession with plus-sized black women.
What Quin expects to be a one-time-event ends up a permanent contract with a dark, domineering and controlling biker from a wealthy family, with a club of monstrous gang members willing to get his property back if she ever tries to escape...
A dark motorcycle club romance with triggers and a truly plus-sized female lead. This spicy bwwm romance is a heated enemies-to-lovers adventure and third in a series of interconnected standalone small town organized crime stories set in the Midwestern US with a black female lead and a smokin' white alpha. Extremely spicy romance not for the faint hearted.

Love that characters from the previous books were here. I’m so swept up in this world. I can’t get enough. Honey I thought I was a Hawk fan until she introduced me to Cash in this book. 🪭🪭🤭😁
This book was even better than the last, if possible. Cash and Quin made a great couple and I liked the fact that the female lead on the cover actually match the person described throughout the book. So often when I read the books, I’m disappointed because the person on the cover does not match the person that the authors describe when you read the book, but this one did and I really appreciate that. I like that Cash did everything that he could to make Quin his woman, and he proved that he loved her and Avery. All three of them make a great family.
So I know the book as a whole will be ok BUT 2 things so far. First Avery has a ton of red hair, so much so that she has to be Tanners. Yet before he comes back she's sitting on Aunt Deb's lap with not so much hair that could either go blonde, brown, or auburn. The math ain't mathin. Second, the LV Raiders have only been the LV Raiders since 2020. I probably would have just said the Raiders since you said he was raised a fan. I know there might be other things that don't add up but these two were bugging me. Story is good so far...
I love the fact that in each book so far each woman has a different body type and skin color in your books. I feel it’s a great tribute to all women of color. I like that each biker learns a lesson when it comes to skin color and each woman. They have judged people by their race their whole life. It’s more important to get to know that person and to see beyond their skin color. It’s all about deep love. That’s what’s most important. Looking forward to the next book.
I didn't like how it ended. There was no time on what Quin did. How cash was supposed to get her thru. She never told cash what happen to her and The Reason she killed her step brother. Most of the book was focus on other stuff. Never developed anything with Cash and Quin. It was a hit and miss for me. Too much spent on the alpha being the dominant do what I say and fall in love. Believe me when I love the strong alpha male but also won't be reading anymore
Really liked it - loved the use of the word fat like we are not bypassing it and it’s not a bad word. - love the female main character wish we had a epilogue of their story - didn’t like the pov’s of other characters it felt like I was reading multiple books - didn’t like some of the glossed over triggers and wish the growth was more seamless -easily 3.3/5
I truly appreciate you writing an FMC who's completely relatable, mind, body, and soul. Quin didn't lose her shine regardless of her circumstances. Tanner, seeing her once, knew she was his kind of different. I loved the inclusion of other characters and how they connected the story.
So the ending of Tanner and Quin's story was very abrupt in my opinion. Another thing to note is that, the whole loving plus size woman thing was cute in the beginning until the way he described how he felt became too much- and I'm saying this as a plus size woman. It was honestly a fetish from what he said.
Aside, from that I did find a few things in this book enjoyable.
Crazy storytelling and reader needs to read the previous 3 books to understand what is going on in this book! Cash and that Ski mask had me dying but seriously 😳 why does Quin act like she has no idea? Baby Avery is having the time of her life with them as entertainment 🤣😂🤣😂 Tanner and Quin finally work it out but who know … On to Book 5
The way this book was written made me feel like she didn’t have an entire story for Cash & Quin which is disappointing because the were cut short there were so many other Stories and it really took away from the main couple.
Waiting on next book. Love how the couples interact. Love the action. did not see Avery mother showing up. Great surprise. drama The women are very strong and loyal to their partners.
I love the Rebel Barbarian MC series. Every rebel falls in love with a strong, intelligent and an amazing woman. I love how the men protect their women. I can’t wait for the next book to see what the Midnight SS have against the Rebel Barbarians. 🥞
Because, as usual when you pick up a Jasper book, you just have to finish it! Loving this series, had me smiling and laugh out loud in some bits, great characters and looking forward to Steels story.
This is probably my favourite book of the series so far. The chemistry between Quin and Cash was hot and the love scenes were on 🔥. Cash sounded like a tall glass of water. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
What a nice story. The twist and turns. There was a lot of background plot in this story that I feel took away from their relationship developing but I can see how it sets up for the next book.
This is another top shelf banger Cash kidnaps his Property. How funny and erotic in a scary way. These Barbarian. Bikers are crazy.but I love reading about them and the women they chose.
Jamila Jasper is undoubtedly my favorite author! I've read just about everything she's put out. E-books to audiobooks. As long as she keeps writing I'll keep reading. This series is as good as the last series. On to the next book in this series.
Yea… I saw this on tiktok and pushed myself to skim and read as a form of torture? This book was awful… I read it a while ago in january and yea, i’m not coming back.
Here’s a few quotes for you to decide you want to read it or not:
“And since you’re a good girl and kept your hymen safe… I’ll go slow.”
“just makes me more desperate to give her sweet black pussy every inch of my gigantic white dick.”
“I want to cum in my black nanny so fucking badly it hurts…”
“imagine her growing, what it will be like to watch her swell with my kid, feel the baby moving around inside her… All that only makes me want to hold her closer–and get her ass into bed.”
“"I knew it," I whisper. "You get so goddamn turned on when I sneak in through your window and dominate the fuck out of you..."
“But she can’t be black with eyes like that.”
I stopped at 62%, skimmed through a lot of it though and only read through the more ‘action-filled’ parts. Not my cup of tea… maybe if i’m only looking for smut scenes i’ll be back but as an overall novel? Yea, no thanks.
