Sucks that these don't link up properly between Amazon and Goodreads. Continues on from the third book with the sword saint trying to kill him and ends with the King of death getting transported. The hundred ghost summoning was sad to see how many times he had actually killed himself. The hero of a frozen world was a lonely battle. I'm glad he had companions at his side. Looking forward to the next one.

Luring the Blade Saint to Make a deal with him and after multiple death he succeeded, crazy MC Facing The Demon king multiple times raising a dead army And having the trauma of the dead king Clearing the floors without any causality And that is new! A question that require the meeting of the Six Pillars of Eternity :O
Gongja is ready to challenge floors 11 through 20, but the challenges now include more than just Tower-spawned enemies. He's got the five greatest Guilds to manage---organizations whose leaders rose during the worst of the Tower's early days. Powerhouses who can just as easily create problems as solve them. And then there's the truth behind the story of the Demon King of Autumn Rains . . .
This volume tackles the next series of floors, but the whole thing is bound by one unified theme: the Demon King of Autumn Rains has conquered a country, and Gonja and the other Tower climbers are tasked with joining with the natives to fight back. Only Gonja breaks the script early when he figures out he can't do this the way it's presented and still get everything he wants out of it.
I like the story behind the Demon King, and I like Gonja's reaction at the end. He isn't willing to ignore the hypocrisy presented, but he also isn't without his own form of mercy, and he's trying every way he can to aim for the happiest ending for EVERYONE involved.
If you've liked the series thus far this is another strong volume, especially with the understated way it showcases Gongja willing to undergo tremendous pain so other people can smile (the reaction of the Black Dragon guild leader and how it changes from joy at few casualties to her utterly breaking down when NO ONE dies was fantastic). Highly Recommended.
